What I can say about this, is that there is something wrong with it. I'm excited for it and can't wait to see it's capability, but seeing what it looks like was such a downer. The Nintendo Switch? Who thought this was a great Idea? It's like begging the fans to come back and switch from the Xbone/PS4 to this thing. After watching the video, It seemed like you can take off the controller part of controller and put it on a small screen to make it portable. If the console is going to be like this, you don't want to break the latches on that, because you're f*cked if that happens. To add to that, I want to know if the console is going to have strong plastic. I mean, if you drop the controller, won't the thing fall apart? I don't know, but I just don't like that.
And just another design opinion, this doesn't scream Nintendo. If I bought this for my imaginary son, he would question what this thing is before he notices the Nintendo above the word "Switch." I mean, the N64 was a new generation console that revolutionized gaming as we knew it. The Gamecube made moms love the console and played games on all consoles. The Wii made motion controls and inspired the VR. The Wii U made family gaming fun or more competitive. This? This looks like a "PC" console of the future.
Besides that, the console seems like it could be the same as the PS4 or Xbox One. I mean, we don't know if the console is able to do that, but as the articles say and PC players knowing the technology, it can do that. Who knows, though? This could be the GameCube of today. I would love to play Skyrim on the go with the highest def as I visit my familia in Mexico.
Other than those things, I am sceptical about this. I will try this thing out, if not buy it, but I am going at it with the most criticism I have. Anyways, before you go head on in the comments at me, I do not hate Nintendo or the console, I am just judging it, like anyone would. I hope you somewhat liked this and 'til next time...
