Many were promised a game that had you cross the universe in a few seconds, the game was to give us something new for us to play with, the game was to be revolutionary, but upon release the game was a piece of crap. The wasn't a classic cash and grab like Aliens Colonial Marines, it was more a scandal. We were promised something big and we didn't get that. You probably already knew that, huh? Well I've been thinking a lot about the game once I tried it with a friend. Poor guy spent his entire 3-week allowance to get the game.

I will say this very fast: The game was empty, the planets were bland, the animals weren't great, there isn't any enemies and the only fun thing in game is naming everything. I could have made an entire review on this game and saying how much you shouldn't waste your money on it, but I got the game late and struggled to get that review out. It is now in my pile of scrapped projects.

I hope this image shows...

Anyways, I've watched many videos saying that Hello Games aren't to blame or that the game isn't truly bad. I don't disagree that it's not bad, it anyone's opinion to like the game, but saying that the company was not to blame for the scandal they gave is like give the Queen of England the bird. A certain video I'd like to mention is WhatCulture Gaming's video on Youtube. It is good, but the person talking here isn't entirely right. Here's why!

Although, the game was overhyped and most games can be blamed by their downfall by that, but this was more of a (I'll say it again) scandal. The game was shown as a multiplayer game with a space travel element including some robotic enemies to defend against. Upon release, the game was more a Minecraft clone with a slow and boring space traveling mechanic. What we got wasn't what they showed us (Said almost every review and article/blog mentioning the No Man's Sky). It angered most of us and we wanted our money back.

So, why say "We are to blame," when it wasn't our fault we were sheeped to buy the game. It's not our fault when they said that product was going to be something more than it already was. It's like going up to a scam artist and buying a Monkey's Paw off of him and hope it grants wishes.

No too long after the release, a few players tried to meet up together on a planet, but just found each other in different time zones on that planet. This began to urge a explanation to why this happened. Although, they said they met on the same planet, they didn't technically see each other. PC users began to search the game files to find out the game had no multiplayer function. How are we to blame for this again?

Like I said before, we were promised that the game was multiplayer and we would be able to meet in the game. Sean Murray even said we would be able to see each other in the game, but couldn't. For God's sake, the boxes even had stickers over the online gameplay stamp! Again, how are we to blame for this?

I would like to say that the video I show is not to be hated (I mean their videos are pretty great with lots quality), but the video is kind of hacking at the wrong tree. To answer the question that this guy failed answer correctly. The game is a scam that is hardly worth the price it's given. I suggest getting it off eBay for 5 bucks or lower if you want to try out the game.

Anyways, I hope you somewhat enjoyed this little blog. I know I am beating on a dead horse, but I just wanted to do something about the video I'd shown. Not to discriminate them, but to show that most of what he said was technically wrong. Again, I hope you  liked this and 'til next time...
