There are games that are given lots of attention and there are those games that don't have an eye laid on them at all. I have seen lots of those kinds of games lately and I want to talk about it. I know there can be a lot of games to name for most people, but I'm going to list off the five I know and love. Hello and welcome to this top five hidden gems.

5. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

This game was my favorite for a while. Although it was mainly a cabinet exclusive, I still loved to play the game whenever I saw it at old Arcades or Laundromat. Although it's hard to spot since it has no subtitle in it and it has a show with the same name, it's still really fun. From what I researched it was  mostly famous in Europe and Mexico, massively famous in Japan that it got a console release that was only there, but a moderate success in America. It just barely got any good praise because of how little people played it.

The game has every legendary character from the series and Manga. You want to play as Jotaro? You can, he's basically the icon to the game and show! You want to Play as the awesome Abdul? He's there! You want to test the sword and skill of the French Fencer, Palneref? You can in this game! The show was a perfect pick for a fighting game and it's so awesome to play as your favorite characters. I haven't put this too high on the list since the game was remastered on the PS3 not too long ago and the game got a eventual sequel, going to 3D.

4. Bioshock 2

What? I include a well know game out there? Why would I do that? Well, the game was not know much to the public and compared to the other games, this was the a financial failure. I guess the game wasn't well advertised. This is actually my favorite out of the rest of the trilogy, it had some great potential and the game had some great improvements to the last game.

Besides what I think of the game, it was a thought-to-be-failure because of the unnecessary multiplayer. Although, I liked it more than others, people just did not enjoy it and because of it the game was given a low rating. That officially made the game hidden from the pubic eye.

3. Bulletstorm

What do you get when you mix silly gameplay with unimportant plot? Bulletstorm! Too bad the game was a financial flop. The game was not well know because how little they had left for the advertisement team. Or at least, that's what I researched. Anyways, the game was a flop to begin with. Although it had some bad moments (being the plot), it was still a fun game. It was like one of those really bad B Movies that are just fun to watch.

The game had some silly features, I mean there's a score called Nutcracker where you kill someone by shooting their crotch, which, if you ask me, is what made the game so unpopular. I thought the game was funny! I mean, I have a strange sense of humor, but I still think it's funny! Besides that, the gameplay was so smooth. The firing felt so perfect when landed and the sliding and grappling mechanic was so fun to pull off. I can't wait to get my hands on the remastered version of the game.

2. Rage

This game is know for being a hidden gem. Whenever you ask someone what is the best hidden gem, they are most likely going to say this game. Actually, when I got the game at Gamestop, the guy who was behind the counter gave us the brand new Anarchy version of the game for the Pre-Owned price of $16. He was actually trying to get this game know to us and he did a good job because it's on my list of best games.

Anyways, the game was suppose to be a test for the next Doom to come. They wanted to see if people would like the Engine and mechanics. Sadly, the game was not well advertised and very little people bought the game, so seeing a Doom in this fashion or in this kind of Engine was going out the window. Although, they still used some of the Engine on Doom 2016, so they still had some of it's older self in it.

The game's open world was awesome and the enemies felt so fitting and familiar to it's inspiration, Mad Max. The driving was so fun and fluid to the game's core gameplay, it just somehow made traveling so fun and dangerous. I think the only thing that fans were mad about this game was how it ended so quickly. You know that feeling where you're want to do this mission, but you are so caught up on the story missions, so you try and finish the game and make a promise to yourself that once you finish the game, you'd do those missions? Yeah, imagine that being crushed.

1. Titanfall 2

"What! This game is well known to the public and it's such a great gem and puts other shooters to shame." I know, but have you see the sales? It failed! It did have a great rating, but whenever I want to make a Lan Party with friends, playing this game, they usually question why I bought the game or what the game is. "Well, those are the younger audiences, they don't count." Those are the main audience for the game. Teens are the target for almost every shooter out there.

Looking at it, the game was released at a bad time, right between Call of Duty and Battlefield 1 came out, giving us the reason why this game wasn't know to much or why the game was a financial flop. At least it's gotten better praise now after launch. I can see the company, Respawn is trying to keep their company and franchise alive by making it mobile with some Korean companies and making more content for the fans. I hope all this have reconsider the canceled work for sequels.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this. This was actually fun to write. I know there are other gems that can well replace these, but I am only listing the ones I know. Again, I hope you enjoyed this and 'til next time...
