Some games have you do something that is as simple as shooting some in the face. Actually a game such as Borderlands 2 did that as a side mission. Many would have just shot him in the face then and there and got easy money. Well, many have made it a strange challenge out of it. Hello and welcome to this Community Writing Challenge.
There is a way to make this challenge more immersive either making the player do a trick scope or try to see if the Arrow Grenade (If thrown in the air) lands on him, exploding in his face. Most of us challengers made this more... Challenging. The most famous with this mission is actually going to the highest point in the area map and get the most accurate weapon you can and shoot the dot that is Shooty McFace. People have gone to the lengths of trying something less accurate, like a shotgun. Most people spend hours using that gun as they try to take the mantle of being the first to kill Shooty McFace with a shotgun from the farthest and tallest place in the map. Some have used a Rocket Launcher, good choice, but is a very slow projectile.
"StarterPack this sounds borin-" Shhhhhh.... Just accept that this was once something that Borderlands players enjoyed doing. I know it's dead now, but it was fun to a point. Anyways, the one thing that people did to make it more challenging was to get rid of your money and when the main mission to attack the Bunker, you do the challenge while that is happening. Yes, before there were still some enemies while going up the hill, but they weren't shoved in your face like the Bunker mission did.
People were actually timed while doing this, players would race up there as Badasses were chasing them, Loaders shooting at you and grenades, all the grenade to chase you and taking you down by half health and stopping on your timed personal goal. It was a fun challenge and was so hard to accomplish on the time 5:55. It was a friend's win time and was hard to beat. You might think that getting past the enemies is the hard part? It's getting a shot at McFace when you get there. Loaders will kill you as you try to aim and trying to accomplish a trick shot to show off was even worse.
I have seen people try to do it on a New Game+ with a difficulty of Hard while doing that exact challenge. It's amazing to see what people can do with what they have in that game. There is one legendary weapon while doing this challenge, don't know what it's called, but it shoots an arrow that has actual projectile weight to it, so that made the aim harder to accomplish. It really wasn't meant to be in the game seeing how many players have actually made that mission more exciting. Some of you probably just got a weapon and shot him point blank, but most people have tried to make is more creative and immersive.
