Well, there is a lot of things in gaming that reminds me of a certain event in my life. I'll tell you a few.
When I was about 10 or 12, my Gramps, Uncle and Great Uncle loved to go shooting. You know? Like going out in a legal area and shoot some cans? Doesn't sound much, but have you shot a gun before? It might be dangerous, but there's a reason why there's gun-nuts!
Anyways, I went with them one day and it was just fun. We shot empty soda cans, bottles of water, and even empty spray cans. It was just fun. Well, that was the last day I went out shooting with my Great Uncle. His name was Bob. I called him Uncle Bob. He died from a heart attack and well, my last memory with him was shooting cans off an old wooden fence. So every time I shot a bottle or can off a desk or fence, it reminds me of that day. I'd set up a little targeting range in Fallout 4 where I shoot all the cans and teddy bears off a desk. Good times...

I have a lot of friends in my life now, and most of them are very funny or just weird. One of them reminds me of Sans: lazy, smiles all the time, talks in puns, everything that makes Sans is what makes one of my best friends. I mean talk to him and just not think of him! I play Undertale, and it feels like I'm talking to him! I won't give away his name, but the similarities are just uncanny! I call him Sans ever since!

Last one was a bit short, but I thought you guys might think it would be funny to hear about a Sans look-a-like. This is something a bit personal for me, every time I play a simple RPG like Borderlands or Skyrim, it lets me realize how awesome my world can be. It reminds me how beautiful the world can be, how great it could be if I could explore it. I know I can't get out of this small town, but at least I can witness the world or Tamriel, The Capital Wasteland, or even the fields of death in Pandora. And the stories you tell to your friends feels like you are just part of the world!
Sometimes, after looking through the forest and just admiring the beauty of what these people made at their desk! Most of the time I forget what my mission was!
I don't know how to put this in words, but the reason why I like gaming and it's RPG's of today is because of the world they put us in. The sheer imagination that a few people made with the most effort possible! And the universe reminds me of how small ours is!
All the games I play reminds me of some great things life, but the open worlds of RPG's make me look at life and reminds me of what I can do in my worlds. Worlds I can create just by using computer software or Source Film. After seeing the release of Skyrim back in 2010, I nearly shed a tear, then when I played it in 2013, I almost cried. Same thing about Fallout 4. I don't know why, but most of the games that show us small maps and give us little beauty, while others make the real world look out of date.
I hope you liked what I had to say! Wait... is that an arrow in you shoulder?!
Anyways, 'Til next time...
