Top 10 Games That Still Live to it's Name...

$

I am going to be talking about the games that are either old or just great to this day. From games that made others look bad, this is 10 games that still live to it's name. I hope you enjoy!

10. Super Mario

The game being claimed ahead of it's time, this marked the minds of every child of the 80's and still to this day, the game is still being played on  new or original consoles. I mean who hasn't played this? Unless you were one of those children that had weird parents... Video games aren't bad mom! They're fun!

9. Bioshock series

Being titled game of the year through the entire series, this game went from beautiful sea ground to the creepy minds of the developers.

The story is great, the background, the feel of a classic Doom arsenal, everything felt so original! I don't know what, but the game was the best and most emotional ride me and all my friends have ever had!

8. Final Fantasy series

Being the most loved game of gaming history, this is a game no gamer has escaped. Not even me! The art style, story and even the characters are freaking great. Every element of a beloved game is put into this very franchise. I mean being a final attempt of the company before they went bankrupt, (Hence the name) this one of those games that you can't leave alone.

7. Street Fighter

The first game of the 5 being a total hit and miss, the game revived itself with Street Fighter 2 and all the gamers out there, came to play this game. With all those Turbo's and Alpha's, all the fans and gamers alike still bought it even though it was just faster or with different character color! Plus this game had a bug that revolutionized fighting games forever.

6. Sims

Setting aside the new SimCity, all the Sims games made us look at life differently and saw them as a great way simulate anything! From SimAnts...

...To SimEarth

Well all played and took care of our own homes and creatures. Even though the games had random genres, they still made us look at life in a new pixel-y or graphical perspective.

5. Assassin's Creed

Even though this game was suppose to be a Prince of Persia game, this was still a game of greatness. The story and concept was a rare being. I mean a virtual generation of a past event in one of your relatives' and being in his or her shoes? That's something that no man has crossed in the world of writers. The game had it's ups and downs with the newer sequels and franchises (I'm looking at you Unity!) but the game was one that everyone is hoping a new sequel.

4. Silent Hill

If your ask a friend what's a good survival horror, the first thing they'll say is Silent Hill. The game and it's creepy bonfire like story is the the reason why this game got so great! A city that killed a false witch and was punished and damned to hell? Count me in on that adventure! The horror and how startling the creatures are is just great! Every element is what Resident Evil should have been. And the long awaited  sequel going to come out soon this year!... Wait... What? It's canceled!? Okay... I'll go cry in a corner now...

3. Elder Scrolls series

This one of the games that just shouts great RPG! See what I did there? Anyways, the entire series is a column that supports the entire fandom of Fallout, Dragon's Age, and Witcher. The reason why people play these games is probably because they played this first. Not saying this game is better at all. I love those games as much as this series! The magic, the universe, and even the side quests are what makes this a great game! And the fact you choose your character's story, is something that makes us squeal in happiness!

2. Doom 1-3

This game is one of the first PC games I ever played. I first played Doom, then all the way to 3. And I will never forget about it. The way Hell was and how great the background story was, is one of the best things that drew people to love it! Who was UAC? Why is Hell destroying this place? You had to be a true fan to know all about the game and it's story. The secret areas you had to find is one thing that made this game have replay-ability!

and now, before we go to our #1, here are my first ever, honorable mentions:

And now...

1. Legends of Zelda

Finally! A fairytale that doesn't have any blood! This game is one of many, but none can beat it's great story and confusing timeline...

This gave fairytales more of a kick in the rear compared to this one. Every speck of the game is given to us in great detail, the Ocarina of Time to Majura's Mask, this franchise is one of the most played games to exist. despite Tri-Force Heroes, the game is also a great puzzle solver! They show you everything to your face, but you can't get it until you solve this puzzle, get that guy's thing that was stolen by pirates, storm into a ruin and get a new weapon, and the list goes on, but not in an annoying way, in a way that is the most creative and memorable way! You cannot beat this game's fandom and it's great story. The great thing is there will be a new one coming to us in this generation. Let's hope this one will be better than Tr-Force Heroes.

did you like my list? Well, if not keep this in mind.

Thanks for reading and as usual...

Author's Note:
Just to say, this took a while to write and re-write. Everything was hard to create, imagine, and to put on paper. So if anything is confusing or anything in that nature, please tell me, so I can correct it. And another thing, there will be two endings. One being what I like to call a "Dead Ending." And the other a good ending. I couldn't choose which I should write so I wrote the "Dead Ending" and my friend will write the good ending. I won't tell you who he is. I hope you enjoy what I got.

They are almost there.
To their end.
Can you feel their Demise?
The breath of life leaving their lungs?
No? You will soon. Fate calls for it.

The team leaves out of the bar awaiting for their pick-up. The winds of the carrier arrives before the vehicle does. Xavier is forgetting his call sign. When did Starter Pack leave? His soul corrupted now. He is no longer himself, but the team doesn't notice this tole of change hit him. Tel stares at Xavier, with a face of sadness.

"Xavier..." Tel quietly said.

"What is it Tel?" Xavier said calmly as Tel approached his presence. Xavier feeling off about what Tel wanted to say. Does he know what is happening to him?

"It's when you went through the accident..."Tel said in a worried voice. This worried Xavier. Maybe he saw Tareen. Did he see him? The voices were calling out to him. Saying if he knows, he must kill him. Xavier almost broke a tear.

"It's just when I saw you going through that trauma and I wanted to tell you that I almost lost a friend. I know I only knew you for 5 days, but you are the one who gave the free will to live and choose my own life. I don't want to lose you again. It was too much of a dramatic scare for me," Tel said deeply. Xavier almost cried. A true friend in his hands.

Xavier put his robotic hand over his shoulder. "Don't worry, Tel. I won't go down easily." Xavier said as Tel felt a small feeling he never felt before. A feeling that he could not do."Wait... Are you trying to cry?"

"I guess it was obvious. Let's get back to the mission," Tel quietly said as he was trying to wipe away a tear.

The two finally entered the carrier. The team were waiting for Gavin to finally arrive or give the signal to leave. They see a small figure in the distance with what looks like a large box. It's getting larger and larger. They ready their weapon to what might come.

"Hey! It's me! Wait!" the figure shouted.

"Oh god! It's Gavin," said Jell as she sighed in disgust.

"I'm here!... Huuu... Huu... I'm here," Gavin said as he puffed after running. Leaning down, trying to catch his breath, he gets back up with a red face smiling. "So... What I miss?"

"We almost shot you, you freaking idiot!" Jell shouted.

"Hey, hey, hey! I came as I said!" said Gavin as Jell took her helm off to reveal her anger.

"We thought you were a gangster trying to kill us!" Jell shouted in anger as Gavin swayed his head away as if she was yelling. "What the hell made you think that!?"

"Hey! I'm sorry if you are having a little chat, but were you guys in a bar?" said the pilot, Warrior.

"Yeah..." said Gavin as Jell cooled off.

"Why do you ask?" Jell question.

"Well, none of the veterans are alcoholics. All federation troops can't drink on duty," said Warrior as Xavier chucked a few mints in his mouth.

"Yeah, he's kinda right. I don't drink. And I'm Irish!" said Gavin as Jell look furiously at her and slapped him. Night Crawler laughs.

"Okay, can I ask what the hell that is?" said Roman as he pointed at the box Gavin hauled.

"Ulyssese Once said that the tide of war stops to admire the new technology and weapons," said Gavin

"Kay... What is it, though?" Roman asked as Gavin pushed a small button on the metallic box and it shift and opened forming into something. The team moved back as the box formed in to a large droid.

"Now, does that answer your question?" said Gavin as the droid looked around and observed the entire team.

"Hello..." the droid quietly said.

"What is it's name?" Xavier asked as Gavin smiled.

"It's called Prototype 9913243-FMD-3, but I call him Silas!" Gavin said excitedly as Jell grabbed him by the vest.

"You named it after my father!?" Jell shouted.

"Y-yeah! He was a great man! He was the one that saved my arse when I was a rookie! N-now, can you p-put me down?" Gavin quivered as Jell raised her fist.

"Hey! He's a recruit. You can't hurt him.," Xavier said as Jell pulled her fist down and let Gavin go.

"Thanks you little soldier!" Gavin shouted. "Don't call me that"

"So why did you bring him here?" said Jell as she crossed her arms. Gavin smiled at her. "He is something I saved for a special event, and saying that a Kira Kora Pirate has the sacred crystal, he felt appropriate," Gavin explained as he patted Silas.

"Okay! Warrior, take us to the Psycho's lair. Better get to your ship, Gavin. This thing's pretty fast," said Jell as Gavin saluted the team and ran to his ship in the distance.

They both enter into space and ready theselves for what is next. For what insanity is to approach their eyes. Tareen still in Xavier's mind, what madness will enter with his old friend's death? And the Arch Crystal, what has he done with the powerful element?

Top 10 Survival Horror Games...

Today, you are here to see our list of the best Horror games out there. From guts and gore to death and insanity, we give you the top ten survival horror games.

10. Dead Rising

This game brings me back to Dawn of the Dead. The game's sequels have left the horror, but the first had it evened out with horrific suspense with some comedic relief here and there. The game had more than horror on it's side, it was the horde and the story. The horde was the hardest thing to beat if just began, but the tight spaces to run through as the horde wishes to feast upon you leaves you beat. The story is another thing that made players play more, you are a reporter that has covered wars, and feels the need to cover a quarantined town with little to know what's happened within the walls.

9. King Kong, the Official Game of the Movie

This wasn't intended to be a horror, but a suspenseful ride into the unknown island that holds the over sized beast, King Kong. The game was highly praised for that the game was said to be better than the movie. And I believe it! After hiding from Raptures, I didn't want to leave that little space! And with it's scarce supply of weapons and ammunition, this is what makes the game a true survival horror. This would be higher on the list, but since it didn't look or even was intended to be a survival horror, it's on our 9 list.

8. Doom 3

This was hard to debate. We were discussing this and remembering everything about this game to see if it had the survival horror feel. We saw that there were some-what scarce items, enemies and demons at every corner, and it was meant to bring a stalking feeling, so we said yes. This is one the best assembled horror games out there. I mean when you are all alone and you made sure you killed everything, you still have the feeling that there's something behind you are just hiding behind every corner. There is a mechanic that spawned demons and enemies at random so there was no relief. Everything in this game is what is a horror.

7. The Forest

me and my friends are true horror fans and Minecraft fans, but this makes the Night Hordes in Minecraft look stupid compared to the cannibalistic tribe hunters that never leave until your dead for the hunt! I mean the day part is beautiful and wipes out the horror factor, and it does it good. One you see it's night after wondering the woods for supplies, you remember how the night is. Cannibals looking for their prey to hunt for and, of course, they watch and stalk you as you mind you business! God, it's awfully creepy how they just watch you from a short distance. And they wait for a point to attack when they can and they all just join in and try to kill you. And not to mention the horrific ways the women look! I'm sorry if I offend you women out there, but just look at that!

It must be hard for the men to find a good love on that island. And that smile! God! Brush your freaking teeth, lady! We're moving on! I don't want to look at that!

6. SCP Containment Breach

This might be an old game and a game that has been praised too much, but the great thing about this game is that it's random;y generated. The map is never the same and all that is seen in one play through will be really different from the last. And the blinking mechanic where if you find "Billy" (As Markipier call's him) he will just stand there until you blink so he can just snap your neck in two. Doesn't sound like much, but imagine trying to open a door behind you, while looking at him in the middle of the room. And once he's out of sight, he'll move. And not just that, there's more creatures that lurk the halls, like the man that doesn't lik you seeing his face, the creature that kills you if your no paying attention, and the Doctor where he raises the dead in his favor to kill you. Sounds like a bad creepy pasta, but Mark doesn't like playing this game...

5. Silent Hill

There is literally no break while playing this game. I mean the eerie atmosphere makes you feel so uneasy and the radio static just makes you want to leave this game alone. Even though you can kill some of the enemies, their creepiness still doesn't let you have that thought in mind. There is little to say about this game, besides you are a person in hell and trying to escape it with you sanity intact.

4. Outlast

This game was titled as an Indie Horror, but the graphics and gameplay tell otherwise. The fact that you can't kill or defend yourself makes the entire game creepier, the camcorder you hold is the only source of light and it was designed extremely well. Anyone who's seen the movie Rec or Quarantine, knows that the night vision is creepier than it looks. And don't forget the atmosphere! The game leaves you paranoid if that thing in the corner of your eye was real, and mostly it is. It has you worry the patients of Mount Massive are going to hurt you, dead or just a NPC standing there just to make the room more horrific and crazy.

3. Subnautica

The game is another one of those crafting games, but if you hate the ocean, you don't want to touch that foreign ocean with little known alien species. The game has a beautiful, but fear-fueled atmosphere that has many dangers in it's large, vast ocean. Plus the fact that the ship was sabotaged adds a wonder if the game has more to reveal than the ship itself.

2.Alien Isolation

People were worried to what might this game bring us, but we were satisfied to what got! Most of the Alien games were shoot-to-kill type of game, but this game was all about running from the threat. You can't kill the alien, because it's the only one on the colonial space station. You can try to kill it with fire so it can runaway , but...

And the game doesn't just have the Xenomorph, it also has the crazed, paranoid colonial survivors in the place and the synthetic human androids. God, the androids...

Stare at that and not think that's creepy. And to add to this, the game had a scarce supply (as in other survival horror games) so you couldn't protect yourself with that pistol and flamer.

And now our honorable mentions...

And the one thing that we've been waiting for...

1. Fatal Frame 2

A game that made an old 60' snapshot camera a weapon, This horror was based on the old Japanese stories where the only way to kill a ghost was to snap a picture of it on film not digital. They believed that the film was a picture prison for any angry spirits, and they made this a great concept for this little game. The game had a creepy atmosphere that made the player feel so... watched. Whatever they did to make if feel, they did a great job! And all the horrific spirits they throw at you were just heart pounding.

What did you think of this list? Did you like it? And while you're thinking about that, can you beat Balloon Boy for me?

Thanks!

Why Games Have you Press Continue...

There is much criteria that have the player stay in the game: the story, the look, the happiness that is brought to us while playing it. Everyone has there reason, but every developer has to know what the people want in a game and know what game needs to drive the player in. Not all know what is or how it is made, but somehow it can be done, even if they don't intend to grab the audience completely.

Games like Undertale, Windlands, and Grow Home have a lot of inspiration put into it and very much a lot of work down to make it, but they don't create these great games to get money out of it, they create these games to give their inspiration to others and give the world a good game to play in a small period of time. They don't want to grab the player, but they do it anyways.

Even the most overused concept can lure the player to continue their journey in this simple, but rare game. Team Fortress, Half-Life and Portal were all simple games with lots of story to tell, but little time to tell them. Anything can lure the player to play a video game once more, but the story, the legends behind the game's history is what can bring them closer.

But the story is something that helps the game move forward, but the emotional outbreak of the character and the player can engage into an imaginary bond. Even though the character is just a small add to the game, the character seems to be real to the player. Most games can create this bond, but it's hard to get the player to love them or miss them. The death of our beloved hero can just be another corpse on the floor if it's not done correctly.

Even if we love the character, we will find some betrayal between the loved ones in game. The suspense of what might come next holds the player in the game and has all the people watching the gameplay left with the imagination as if this game was a perfect TV series. Telltale Games have this go to a new level of suspense since the character's lives are held in your hands hoping that your favorite character doesn't fade into death.

And as we find no other point of escape, there will be sacrifice. A sense of suspense no man will feel in normal reality, games such as Until Dawn or Life is Strange will have you choose a friend's death or yours. No matter the game, they always tend to fall on this conflict.

Besides that, every player wants to be something they're not. From a hero, to a super intelligent soldier, everyone wants the feeling of saving another person in trouble, or just simply saving the world.

or maybe the player doesn't care about being the hero, but wants to simply become a badass in another life. Game capture all types of topics that grasps the player to press continue once more. Even if they finished the game, they won;t leave it for they can just replay the game over. Even though they finished it, they just feel the need to experience the happiness and suspense once more.

All games have some type of trap to lure us in to play them...

Or an objective to have us finish it...

We all have a new world to finish discovering after finishing the last. We all have a reason why we press the continue button over and over again. But what is it? What is your reason?

Thanks for reading. 'Til next time...

Fallout 4 Review...

I know this might be a bit late, but I had to play the game a lot to make this review happen. Some of the game was bit of a mystery to me even after playing it for the first time. And how the game was a gigantic field of awesome memories, but I'm getting off the point!

The game was said that it was dumb'd down because the skill tree was too simplistic, the dialog being confusing and the leveling system very hard to ignore, but to me these things made the game have you think instead of having go head first into a one dialog option. Every option could have you kill someone. And if you play your cards right, you can have someone kill them self! And the skills were a step up if you think about it. I mean the skills selected in Fallout 3 were randomized in your level. You might be saying what the hell am are you talking about!? Well, to be clear, the skills in Fallout 3 were piled up instead of an orderly set. You got what was in your level and you worked from there. In the new installment, it was in order and the game had you work you S.P.E.C.I.A.L. up in a very perfect fashion.

To lead off of the common complaint, lets talk about the game itself. The game has a better system of how V.A.T.S. worked. Yes, it's hard to find the differences between the two games, but there was a delay in 3 where the enemy had a very slow action to defend themselves. In 4 the V.A.T.S had you think on how you should execute it, because the enemies were slowed, but still able to hurt you with great power. You were lucky if you killed the guy before he shot that Fatman at you.

The enemies on the other hand, were harder if you look at it. I mean the game had you think like a REAL gamer and it had you actually ducking in cover at the difficulty of normal! And that's a default setting! The game opens you up as if these were actual players trying to kill you! That is a smart AI.

Now to the part I want to talk about. All you people that haven't played the entire story, better go back and watch that episode of Walking Dead you haven't seen, because I'm not holding back! Gone? No? Okay, here we go!

Now the game has a lot thinking while playing and the game achieves that in a very hidden way, and the story did as well. I went with the Institute because the game had me think I should go neutral. Why? I just thought I should do that one first. After hearing that the Institute was a cult of assassins and cold, hearted killers, I want to see what would happen if I went to see what they had in store with the Minutemen. After seeing that the Institute was a community of scientists that wishes nothing else, but help shape this awfully new future. Also knowing that the leader was your 64 years old son.

After witnessing some misleading rumors about them, I wanted to see what would happen if you chose the other "factions" as I call them. Each faction has an act of how the people look at you, the raiders, survivors, even your companions. And you had to think on the outcomes and the actions in each faction: the Brotherhood of Steel wanted to secure all technology and kill who ever want to misuse it. They thought the Institute wanted to kill with the new tech they had developed. They want to destroy them as they were only scientist with nothing, but the synths to protect them. And to top that, you are feared beyond the wasteland and not seen as a savior.

The Railroad, as I call the neutral faction, only want to tame the technology of today, but they were blind how they would do this and didn't understand what the synths could do. Synths, as said in one side quest in the Institute, the synths can go crazy and forget they were a robot or android. Some would go rampage and become a raider with higher skill and strength. What I'm trying to say is that the synths are very emotional. They have the emotion of a regular human, but imagine if you were born as an adult with the your knowledge now, you would be very scared and afraid to live! That's why infants have very little intelligence when they're born. To not experience life so quickly. And they're very strong, imagine fist fighting with a robot.

And the institute is a route to achieve world's best goals of saving mankind, but no one will notice it. We know the game takes place ten or twenty years in the future of Fallout 3, so the Brotherhood achieved a live defining event of cleaning all the water with the EDAN project, and yet there is little change in the world. If you notice this in the game as you help the Institute go further with their technology to help the world above them, they are barely accepted by the societies and communities left on American soil. Nuclear soil that is.

The game is trying to give you life choices that have bad outcomes that can affect you emotionally or physically. The game was trying send you a meaning of Lone Wanderer. That this lonely hero needs no family to change his life. You can runaway from the choices, but that just leaves you filled with mystery. Anyways, the game has you think on all ends to combat, dialog, and the story. After noticing this, it really got my mind open. And the game still welcomes me home.

Did you like what I had to say?

I knew you would say that!

Community Writing Challenge: The Memories...

Well, there is a lot of things in gaming that reminds me of a certain event in my life. I'll tell you a few.

When I was about 10 or 12, my Gramps, Uncle and Great Uncle loved to go shooting. You know? Like going out in a legal area and shoot some cans? Doesn't sound much, but have you shot a gun before? It might be dangerous, but there's a reason why there's gun-nuts!

Anyways, I went with them one day and it was just fun. We shot empty soda cans, bottles of water, and even empty spray cans. It was just fun. Well, that was the last day I went out shooting with my Great Uncle. His name was Bob. I called him Uncle Bob. He died from a heart attack and well, my last memory with him was shooting cans off an old wooden fence. So every time I shot a bottle or can off a desk or fence, it reminds me of that day. I'd set up a little targeting range in Fallout 4 where I shoot all the cans and teddy bears off a desk. Good times...

***

I have a lot of friends in my life now, and most of them are very funny or just weird. One of them reminds me of Sans: lazy, smiles all the time, talks in puns, everything that makes Sans is what makes one of my best friends. I mean talk to him and just not think of him! I play Undertale, and it feels like I'm talking to him! I won't give away his name, but the similarities are just uncanny! I call him Sans ever since!

***

Last one was a bit short, but I thought you guys might think it would be funny to hear about a Sans look-a-like.  This is something a bit personal for me, every time I play a simple RPG like Borderlands or Skyrim, it lets me realize how awesome my world can be. It reminds me how beautiful the world can be, how great it could be if I could explore it. I know I can't get out of this small town, but at least I can witness the world or Tamriel, The Capital Wasteland, or even the fields of death in Pandora. And the stories you tell to your friends feels like you are just part of the world!

Sometimes, after looking through the forest and just admiring the beauty of what these people made at their desk! Most of the time I forget what my mission was!

I don't know how to put this in words, but the reason why I like gaming and it's RPG's of today is because of the world they put us in. The sheer imagination that a few people made with the most effort possible! And the universe reminds me of how small ours is!

http://img0.reactor.cc/pics/post/TES-%D0%BA%D0%BE%D1%81%D0%BF%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%B9-TES-%D1%84%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%82%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B5-The-Elder-Scrolls-%D1%84%D1%8D%D0%BD%D0%B4%D0%BE%D0%BC%D1%8B-2549140.jpeg

All the games I play reminds me of some great things life, but the open worlds of RPG's make me look at life and reminds me of what I can do in my worlds. Worlds I can create just by using computer software or Source Film. After seeing the release of Skyrim back in 2010, I nearly shed a tear, then when I played it in 2013, I almost cried. Same thing about Fallout 4. I don't know why, but most of the games that show us small maps and give us little beauty, while others make the real world look out of date.

I hope you liked what I had to say! Wait... is that an arrow in you shoulder?!

Author's Note: I was thinking of making another story to make sure this one would be well thought out. A small delay on this story would be... Hard, but I'm raising another soon. I won't do more of these author's notes. These are only if I need to talk to you guys about something. As you might know, I'm making another story soon and it'll be posted as soon as I have a day off from school. I promise it'll be good. Until next time, Play More Games, and enjoy!

I sense a betrayal.
Can you feel the back stabbing friend?
This is going to be fun...

"Dammit, Peter! We can't have this no more!" Judge Allen shouted."We told you this boy is a lost cause!"

"You've said that many times and you were wrong. he has proved us wrong for the past weeks we've recruited him," said the admiral. The Heltic Council began to look more and more furious as the Admiral kept talking.

"He has, Admiral Peters, but he has broken the Code of Prometheus! A code that the Federation wasn't meant to be broken since the accident! Soon, the boy will see his sins and  give way on his life!" the Supreme Judge Kal'Ex explained as Admiral began to take a seat.

"The boy is still part of the federation! I sent him on a mission to test him..." said the Admiral as the Council began to talk in a loud murmur.

"Silence!" one judge shouted. "What is this test of yours?

"We have discovered that the captive team members are both dead. Their life lines show no sign of life. This will give his emotional mind a test. After his incident, we have looked at his brain scans and found little change, and signs of a second conscience. We have seen some changes in his actions, but we are not sure on that," the Admiral explained as one Judge quickly began to speak his mind.

"You should have put him off duty and deployed him back to his family on Aeris!" one Judge shouted.

"Calm yourself, Ta'Eal. To his family, he is dead. Admiral, we have our trust in you and his mission.." said the Supreme Judge.

"Thank you, Council," said the Admiral as he began to smile.

"But..." said the Judge. The Admiral's smile fades away. "If all else fails in his mission, we will send his sister, Lidia, to finish his mission. Be lucky we are not the Planetary Council, for we would have you sacked."

"I thank you Council, but I have some else in mind to send. It would be to devastating if we send her," the Admiral suggested.

"Who might that be, Admiral Peters?" said one of the Judges as the Admiral's smile appeared once again.

"You will see, my friends... You will see," the Admiral said as he walked out of the Council room.

The team wanders into space to find the infamous pirate and ready themselves with what they might witness. Silas stands in the corner of the Falcon and stares at Tel.

"Hello..." said Silas as he was staring in Tel's robotic eyes.

"Uuum.. Greetings!" Tel said in an awkward tone.

"We are the same beings..." said Silas as he began to lean closer and closer to Tel.

"Yes we are... Can you move away? You're getting in my personal space," Tel said.

"I am sorry. It has been a long time since I have met another machine. It has been getting lonely in a ship with another meat bag," said Silas as he began to  move away.

"Aw! That's cute! And a little insulting, but cute!" said Xavier as Night Crawler began to shrug in disgust.

"He's only a machine. If he dies, it won't be problem. We can handle ourselves!"

"Are you saying this because Gavin gave this to us?" Jell said. "Shey, it's alright! We are not a thing."

"Still have my doubts..." Night Crawler quietly said.

"Oh c'mon! I thought we worked this out, Shey," Jell said as Night Crawler looked at her deeply.

"What is going on?" Silas asked.

"Long story, buddy" Tel said.

"I remember you laughing with that Desiree chick once," NIght Crawler said.

"Oh you gotta be kidding me! She's not even gay!" Jell shouted."You know I hate her! Sorry about that Bi-Pack," Jell said as Xavier waved okay.

"Hey, can we focus on the mission right now? I mean we're still in this transporter and all, but still!" Mofus suggested.

"We're here, team! Get ready for departure," Warrior said.

"Okay. You ready Xavier?" Jell asked as Xavier stared at his metallic arm.

"Time to end an old friend..."

Author's Notes: This will be short and a small look at what I have in store. I hope you like the small prologue. Oh and almost forgot! All rights of ownership of the game Undertale are reserved to Toby Fox and the lovely crew that helped him make it.

After war has been stuck on the Monsters, Humans had forced them to live in among the darkness, inside the mountain. The war had taken all of the monster's loved ones and family, the monsters were hoping the Humans would finish what they had started. But they were sparing and let the ones left to live in in the ruins of a lost civilization.

The King of the monsters wished to have what was left his great people to live life as if they were part of the surface. The King and his Queen had to find determined monster willing to bring this new world to what they remember. From scientist to magician, they couldn't find one single monster willing to build their new home. But one saw no reason not to do so. After days of searching, a mysterious being appeared infront of the King and Queen and said "Greeting my King and Queen! I hear you have lost you old home?"

They two were frightened by the being, they answered calmly. "Well, my King, I have seen the devastation of the war and thought you were in need of help."

The two royals looked at each other and smiled greatly. They accepted his offer and gave him the privilege and items to build the new city. As the mysterious being left, a card was floating downward towards the floor. The royals picked it up and read it, "W.D. Gaster and Son's Helping Service."

Where has this boy gone to?
He is missing out.
He will loose his mind if he doesn't get at the end of the deal...

***

The air is thick with anxiety and hard work. The boy is being judged by his leaders and heroes.

"Xavier, do you know why we chose you?" said the Judge of the Council.

"Sorry, sir, but I do not. Can you enlighten me?" the boy quivered with worry.

"We chose you because we saw your action on your home planet. You built an advanced AI with scrap metal and computer parts you found in a junk yard..." the Judge announced as the boy's head looked up at the Council."You made a plasma powered generator..." one Judge pointed out. "You even created your own pet the same way as you created your AI..." the Judges looked at each other and smiled. "We, at the federation, have you in the right position to be apart of the legendary task forces we have in store."

"It's time for you to choose your task force, Xavier," the Admiral said as the boy smiled in happiness.

"Which team will you choose, recruit?" one Judge said. The teams leaders line up with their task force banner waved behind them.

"I choose Jaelen Hoster's team, sir," the boy said as Jaelen smiled with open arms.

"What are you doing, Xavier!?" Tareen said as Xavier snapped out of his daydream."Your mission is at hand, boy! Not to remember the 'Good Days!"

"You hide within my mind for a full night and you come to knock on my head!?" Xavier said as Jell looked at him with confusion.

"Hey, who are you talking to new kid?" Night Crawler said.

"Ummm... No one. Just myself," xavier said slowly as he felt Tareen's fingers grip his throat.

"Remember what I said, boy," Tareen started to cloud Xavier's mind."Do not forget about it..."

"You're being a bit less open then last time," Xavier thought to himself as he got out of Falcon. The team were scared. Afraid to see what might come next. They storm through all cells in search for the two team members. Jell and Night Crawler were surprised to see that no one was there to protect the cells.

"Do you know what might be happening, Jell?" Night Crawler whispered to Jell.

"This might be an FT," Jell said as Xavier was in confusion.

"FT? What's an FT?" Xavier said.

"It's nothing. Let's split up. Shey, you're with me," Jell ordered. The team split to search the ship for the two teammates, not knowing that they are dead. Xavier passes through a corridor and hears two voices. Xavier stops to listen.

"What are you doing, Sheo?" the voice said. The shadows illuminating a man sitting, fiddling with  objects on desk.

"what does it look like my bother? I'm making a castle!" the voice is louder than the other.

"Sheo, come on! We don't have time for this! It's been too long of a stay," this voice is more calm. Another shadow appears. It's hard to tell for the shadow being cast is large and like a pile of junk.

"Why do you need to leave? Do you need to sell things to the protagonist again?" one voice says.

"I have other stories to explore. The boy's mind is full of them. he always leaves them with such little protection. I suggested that I sell some improvements," the voice said as Xavier approaches the the doorway and tries to see the owners of the voice.

"Freeze! Wait... Uuh... What!?" Xavier says in frustration as the two voices had no owner. With little to time to figure that out, Xavier continues his mission.

"Xavier! Do you read?" Jell say on the line.

"I read," Xavier says.

"We found Psycho's location," Jell says.

"How do you know it's him?" Xavier said as he ate his own words.

"This is how. Your team and I are having a fun time, Xavier. Come find me and I won't play with them. You have 5 minutes," Psycho says as Xavier grips the the handle of his rifle.

"You f*cking ass hole! I'll kill you" Xavier's rage almost broke loose.

"Oh! Before I forget, my coordinates are 333-457. See how fast you can get here," Psycho says as he leaves the line with a haunting laugh. Xavier in rage, destroys his radio earpiece.

"You know if you kill him, you would have to follow our deal..." Tareen said as Xavier was reluctant to save his team.

Bethesda's Foreshadowing...

$

People have played almost every game both Tod Howard and Bethesda itself had to offer. What they had was both fun, well thought of and made every fan want to work there. But the game that got the least amount of love was Rage.

I just didn't sell. People saw it as a Mad Max clone game. After years of people ignoring it, the game still had a fan base and players actively playing it. Through word and rumor the game rocketed 4 years after it's release. People saw that this game was gigantic, but short lived. The game had a short campaign and a lot of side quests.

Now, before you start thinking this is a late review, the game had the master minds of Quake and Doom on this project. At that time people didn't really care and even want to know that. Since the new Doom is coming to consoles and PC's in April, and Bethesda is behind the project mainly, there is a lot, and I mean A LOT of Doom easter eggs. From the Doom Bobble Head...

...To Doom T-Shirts.

...And don't get me started on the gosh darn Pinkies!

They basically must of talked of making a Doom 4 while working on this game. This was probably a test or something to make sure Doom 4 would be great. Of course, the game was ignored, like I said, and this concept was thrown out the window. I believe the new Doom runs on the same Engine, though... Maybe?

Well anyways, the must have hinted to the player or to the audience that the game was coming out soon. But this is all just a theory. A Game-You know what let's not go there. Not that much of a funny reference either.

Plus if you didn't notice, in Doom 3: The Secret Levels, there was even the Rage emblem hidden around hell...

I know this might be some type of homage to Rage, but there has to be a bit more to it. You guys tell me what you think. Do think my theory is some-what true, or do you think it's utter crap? Do you have one of your own? Well, I hope you don't turn out like this guy!

I know what you might be saying, "This is all going to be some stupid Let's Play Youtubers!" That's where you are wrong. Some of them will be and most of them won't. A lot of them are involved with video games and such as that, but trust me, they are just awesome people and great Youtubers all together. Now, know that this is all but an opinion. If you believe this didn't deserve #1 or and where in the list, it's your opinion and this is mine. Hope you enjoy.

10. Harry101UK (Harry Calleghan)

If you like small parodies of famous songs and Nightmare Before Christmas songs, this guy can give you that! He is a Portal geek and most of what he does is nothing, but that. Plus did you like Portals: Mel? Well, he did some of the voices and music for it. He also helped with the animations. He also does a lot of SFM's. If you don't know what that is, it's animations that use the Source Film software. He had a winning Saxxy's Awards video called Mirco-Man.

If you got any interest in checking him out, here's a link...

9. MangaMinx

If you like a lot of funny Gmod adventures and Prop Hunts, well, that's not all she does, she's the girl that's for you. No. Not like that. Well, funny name, right? He is a one man animator that makes the most hilarious TF2 animations. His older animations are a bit crude, but you got to give it to the kid, he was only a small teen when he did it...

If you don't like TF2 or animations, then check his other channel where he makes fun of Let's Plays while doing a Let's Play and doing a reaction video on him reacting to him reacting to him reacting to him reacting to Meat the Amazing Soldier. God, that was a mouth full! Anyways, he just a funny guy in general.

7. Cryaotic

If you like a guy with a very sexy and serious voice, he's the guy for you. Again, not like that. He is a Let's Player that just has the most serious voice that can make a lot of men sound like a girl. Like most of Let's Players, he likes to raise money for the ill and needed and help those in need. And if money doesn't help, he's toxic laughter can help you, too in the hardest of times.

If you think he's the guy you want to laugh with, here's his link...

6. PhantomStride8

If you like Top 10's, then he's the guy you can debate with. I know, he's a Top 10 lister and I put him in a Top 10 list, but he's kind of the reason why I do Top 10's. He has such a good point on his reason why he put it on that number and why it's on his list. I suggest you guys watch him, or if you ever come across him, I suggest you give him a watch.

If want to watch him now, here's the link...

5. LEMMiNO

If you said you liked Top 10's, this guy is your pick. Again, another Top 10 lister, but he doesn't call it "Top 10," he calls it 10 Facts. If you want to know some crazy things about Skyrim...

Or maybe even TF2, if you're new to it...

...Then he's the Swedish guy for you. And I know what you might be thinking, "Why is he better than PhantomStrider8?" That's because he is well organized and looks into a lot of games and facts about life. I mean did you know, you can get nothing done at Valve and still be a valued employee? No wonder Half-Life 3 hasn't come out!

If you're interested in checking him out, here's his channel...

3. HotDiggityDemon

Don't take his looks out of context, he's just a funny animator. That's all he is. And a voice actor in his animations, and a good one at that! If you just want the funniest parodies of Nintendo's best of the best games like Mario...

Or even Animal Crossing...

He can make you crack up if you get the references. And trust me, they are funny! And he also had Markipier voice a character in one of his animations. Can you find out who he is? Because it was hard to find for me.

If you would like to visit his channel or subscribe to him, go ahead!

2. MiracleOfSound

If you like another Irish guy that doesn't just scream his lungs out, but sings it out, his channel is the one that'll fill your dreams. He makes songs that advertise games like Arkham Knight, Skyrim, and more! He also makes songs that are inspired by Mad Max or Guardians of the Galaxy, or even Game of Thrones. (One of his Game of Thrones songs got to one of the actors and he gave his respect to him and the rest of the crew thanked him for the song)

I would suggest you guys give a check because he is just a musician that can give you a chill down your spine. His songs even gave me inspiration to write The Invaders! He has brought me out Writer's Blocks, Character Crashes, and even helped me write more stories!

If are in a writers block and love rock or classical music, here's his link...

I know what you might be thinking, "This guy is overrated," but her me out. He's not just a wacky Let's Player, but a heartwarming guy. A guy that is just a some to love! When he's down, you just want to hug him. I mean look at this!

Not look at that face and not want to hug out his feelings! He is just a reflecter. A guy that can make you feel sad when he's sad or happy when he's happy! He is just a kind guy, too. He is a charitable man. He wants to help this world instead of just live in it. I know many of you (or not) know this guy and already subscribed to him, but to those that haven't checked him out, give him a look. The Invaders, Chapter Five: Part 2

The boy is resisting...
We can't have that...
Let's watch the mayhem build.

***

Sweat and blood hit the air, the boy is reluctant to perfect his martial art. The ring is empty. After hours. The only time that determined recruits would be around the Dojo. The sounds of patting echo in the room.

"Come on, you can hit harder!" Haelen suggests as the boy throws punches and kicks at her. Exhausted, the boy still tries to hit her as hard as he can. Shey is watching in the distance, smiling at the show.

"I'm. Hitting! As. Hard! As I. Can!" the boy said as he was stunned by Haelen. Xavier was planted to the ground, still having the power to get up, the boy still is trying to fight.

"You're too vulnerable, Xavier. You need to practice on your guard," Haelen takes off her combat gloves. Shey gets up and walks to the boy quietly. She gets her gloves out and readies her arms.

"I'll teach ya, Xavier," Shey winks at Haelen and smiles.

"Okay... No cheap shots, okay?" the boy puts up his guard.

"Can't make a promise..." Shey says as she readies her fists. The dream fades as Xavier remembers about his mission. The light glimmers in the room. An uneasy feeling surges in Xavier's mind as he rushes through the corridors, in a hurry to find Psycho's location.

A rumble echos through the halls. It turns into a thump. A repeating pattern. As if someone was walking. "Freeze! Oh... It's you, Silas."

"It is."

"Why are you here? I thought you were taken with the rest of the team."

"He only has Jell, Tel, Night Crawler. Roman and Gavin are still in the ship."

"Well, can you help me find them? It'd be great to have an extra hand."

"I do not like working with meatbags," the blue droid stares at Xavier as he tries to think of a way to persuade the droid. Xavier stares at his mechanical hand and has a hunch.

"Hey! I'm not all meatbag. Look! My hand is robotic like yours!" The droid looks at Xavier's hand and stares at his. "See? Not that much different."

"Where do you need me to go?"the droid's eyes turn from red to blue.

"Okay, I need you to find Roman and Gavin. I want you to protect me as I follow you do that. If anyone tries to kill us, attack them."

"Okay."

"Good! Now, let me on your back."

"That is not happening."

"Why?"

"You are heavy."

"And you're 3 tons of metal, I think you can hold me!" the droids eyes turned to orange next.

"Fine," the droids eyes turned green. Xavier notices this. It wasn't a concern at the moment.

***

The room is filled with terror, heavy with death and blood. Jell is tied to the wall with chains, hanging due to the height of the chains. Night Crawler's helm was cracked and dented on the forehead. She was unconscious.

"What are thinking to accomplish here, Nicolas? The crystal will just kill you along with whatever planet you;re on!" Psycho's eyes glared at her.

"Do not call me that..." he grabs his knife and slides the tip across Jell's face. "You know, I'm not the one with the crystal. Your friend, on the other hand, has it." A figure appears out of the corner. Jell is shocked to see who and what it is.

"Zackary!?" Jell's voice fades into her fear. Zackary's eyes were pure red and his mouth was covered with a metal plate. He was a new threat. Jell could see it. His soul was stolen by the crystal.

"Zackary is gone. He's no longer apart of that sh*tty federation. He is nothing but a husk now. What's the best part is that he works for me! Can you believe that? It's like the crystal likes me!" Night Crawler begins to wake.

"Ooh! Just in time, darling!" he grabs her and releases her from the chains.

"What are doing!? Don't you hurt her!" a pistol was put to her Night Crawler's head.

"Oh, you forgot it's opposite day!" he pulls the trigger and out comes a click.

"You sick f*cker"

"Come on! You have to say that was funny! Okay, Blood Seekers!" two red cloaked women walked into the room."Carry this darling to the another cell. Oh and make sure you cuff her. She's almost conscious. And after you're done, hunt down that intruder. He will be easy to find."

Upon Death

Gaze upon the trails of death of which the Talo Raiders lead. They roam the lands of New America to claim their bounties. They not find a simple bounty, but a bounty that has been placed for years. People fear this man. Children flee to their homes when his name is said. Adults cower hearing his tales. He has many names to be called from: the Soul Reaper, Wanderer of Shadows, but one that most fits him is the Claimer.

He has never been seen nor has his face ever been looked upon. All that is known of him is his infamous wrist blade, the Visor Blade. A blade of light and great power. None can control such a powerful weapon, those who can are put to death by the Talo Raiders.

They find his bounty both pleasing and fearing, but none can shed fear into the eyes of the clan owned by their leader, Terron Talo. Sent as mercenaries, he leaves his best and largest man to lead them to this feared killer.

"We ride boys!" the largest of the group calls our for his men. "We find this bounty head and we slaughter him like a pig!"

The entire group shouts in inspiration. They believe they can take down the Claimer?

They roam the New American lands and find nothing. All  said locations were looked through and left in shambles. The rest after sunset. The camp inside a mountain shaded valley, and set their fires. One short soldier looks into the dark distance and sees a small figure. Before he could report it, the figure disappears.

"It was probably your eyes keeping you a fool. Now go to sleep!" the soldier is sent to his floor rags. All of them in a deep sleep.

A sudden scream bursts into the night. It was muffled, as if some one covered the mouth. "What in God's name was that hell!?"

"Probably one of Xan's night terrors again," they search for the tents and floor rags around the camp. None of which were disturbed. "Who the hell screamed!?"

"Sure as hell wasn't around the captain's tent."

"It better not have been, " they check if the captain was disturbed. He was obviously awake. The lantern fires were still lit in the tent with the captain waiting outside the tent for the others to find the screamer.

"Where is this man?! I need to know who shall I punish for screaming in the worst of time!" another large scream enters the their ears.

"What in God's name will I do with these people!?" the leader enters his tent and puts his armor on as the soldiers search the area. THe soldiers are shocked to find a one of their blade planted in one of their own's chest.

"Who is behind this massacre?"

"We have to find whoever did this!'

"No f*cking sh*t, Doofus!" another scream enters their ears. Before they could react, an arrow pierces one soldier's head. "Get your swords out, boys!"

They surge into the camp and try to find the assassin. "He's taking out the marksmen!"

"Where is he!?"

"Never mind that! Keep your head down!" the swordsmen are left with no long-ranged protection.

"I came for the bounty of your leader," a voice in the darkness calls out. "Rock is what he is called. I want his head. I will spare those who heed my instructions: do not attack me, and I shall not attack you."

"If you listen to him you're dead!" before he could go into a speech, a bolt was lodged in his skull.

"Leave that as an example of what might I do"

"What shall we do?"

"We'll listen to him for now. We'll have to let the captain take care of this," the assassin revealed himself: a hooded mask of dread, dresses in cloaks and iron plates on his chest and legs. "Do you think that's him?"

"The wrist shows it off," he looks at his wrist. "A mechanical machine," he thought. "Is that the legendary Visor Sword?"

"Come out, Rock!" he cried. "I am your bounty. Don't you want to claim the glory of killing the Legendary Claimer?" the soldier are surprised by the sight of who the legendary Soul Reaper was.

Soldiers mumble about him. It echos through out the camp.

"I thought he would be bigger"

"The stories were true!"

"What is he wearing?"

Soon enough, the mirmir stopped to see the fight that will be endured.

"You of all people. I have to fight a small soul while my men are afraid to even fight! Worthless men. I keep telling Talo to hire more-" a bolt bounces off his tremendous armor. "I see, more fight. Give me your first blow!"

The fearse Claimer strikes his short blade at him. It was a poor blow, but it nearly snapped the sword in two. "Is that all you got!? I met a woman that hit me harder than that! And such a puny sword! Why!? Haha!"

"That sword was one your men's. This is mine," he pulls out a large katana blade. Sharp and harder than steel, it was a weapon for a true wielder. Rock laughs in what he saw.

"Is that really your sword!? Hahaha! That sword cannot pierce my armor! I rather fight a man with that visor in your hands."

"That is mercy to your kind."

"Alright then. I'll let you try," he points at his side. "Go ahead! I bet there will be not a scratch."

The Claimer swings with the utmost might, knocking his opponent down. He was coughing up blood. His eyes were glaring at the legendary killer, realising he let him beat the strength out of him. "No! No, please! I'll let you go! With money? Take it all! Have my men's armor! Please! Don't kill me!"

"You Talo sacks of piss always underestimate me. My sword might not have pierced your armor, Rock, but at least your body feels the blow." a scream escapes the downed villain's throat. With no mercy, he swings repeatedly, beating him to death.

"Oh god, my favorite part," he said sarcastically as he chopped his bounty's head off. "25 hundred for me again. You men are free to live. Like I said, any attempt of killing me, will result in your timely death," the men look at each other in surprise and fear, knowing they just faced the Wanderer of Shadows.

Top 10 Video Game Characters that are Ignored...

$

0

Here we are going to talk about those guys that are just plain awesome, but never get the spotlight. Yes this is a late Community Writing Challenge, but it still needs to be said! From leading us with high expectations with characters and hiding them to characters that are never talked about again!

10. Tai (Gears of War 2)

Literally give to us for about 10 minutes of getting to know the character and is never seen again! Well, until he kills himself when you rescue him. And don't give me that spoilers crap, because this is a long since released game! Anyways, this character is very mysterious. Not in a way that has you wondering what he's going to do next like Zer0, but in a way that just makes you feel you missed some thing about him. I mean, Marcus tells you off the bat that he is one of the bravest and most bad ass COG Marines out there, but never gives us insight on how he was know to be that way. Yes there is comics that tell you his past mission, but it was only one of his missions. Missions that made him know to be the most bad ass COG Marine to fight! To me, they missed an opportunity of a great character creation.

9. Eri (Metal Slug series)

She is one of four characters you can be in the Metal Slug franchise, but is never appreciated for what she really is. She is was gang leader in New York, was a foster child and was taken by the government to be apart of the infamous team, the SPARROW's. How bad ass is that? What is very strange is that the cuter and less hardcore character Fio took her thunder.

Fio became more of a fan favorite while Eri was always pushed aside. Only is they prove their worth in the battle to the death... I think that could be established in Metal Slug 3 if you play as Fio in the beginning.

8. McCreedy (Fallout 3-4)

Did anyone else know he was in Fallout 4? I didn't know until I heard his story. The game was what no one really expect: a better Fallout 3, but isn't that how sequels usually work? That's a conversation spoken on a different day. Anyways, he tells of what happens to him after he becomes a teenager and has to live without his friends in Little Lamplight. Sounds a bit familiar...

Well, no really cares about him. I mean, I understand if you don't want to be seen as a helping thief, but this guy has gone through some crap! Fought a deathclaw and almost died, had his only ghoul buddy die by raiders, and a gang is hunting him down! That is some story that almost everyone has heard, but you never get to help them with the problem. He even asks you if you want to go kill the gang hunting him down and relieve him from the dept. He is underappreciated character in the game that is the only companion that has troubling problems then emotional problems.

7. Dan Hibki (Street Fighter)

I know what you might be thinking. This guy is a moron that is trying too hard to be cool! Well, let me tell you his back story. No, not his real back story, how he became the infamous doofus. His first appearance was in a game called KoF. He had a hadouken like move and looked too much like Ken or Ryu. After Capcom hearing their enemy, SNK, having a character that resembled too much like their own characters. I mean they could have gotten the guy that looks like Ryu names Ryo, but they chose this guy. The claimed a lawsuit and took the fighter as their own. Recreated his character just resemble how they looked at SNK. Sucks to be the guy that is suppose to resemble one of the greatest gaming companies in Japan as a moron that has a horrid back story and stupidly hard to master moves.

6. Mordecai (Borderlands series)

After hearing about the death of bloodwing, you just want hug this poor guy. They tell you what he likes, what he does for a living and that's just about it. What was his past life like? Why did he choose the Vault Hunting life? They never tell you everything about the entire cast from the first to the second entry of the game, but they never go deeper on why Mordecai is there in that watchtower! What does do up there! And we only see that other trash hole he lives in. There is a lot that needs to be said about him and no one is interested!

5. Luigi (Mario series)

A character we all know has the hard feeling with Mario and having his princess cheating on him with his own brother. A lot of people favor Mario, but what about the green older bother? Yes, Older. I can see someone choosing him for a second player because who the hell wants to be the toad that flipped you off and told the princess was in another castle!

Anyways, I always play as Walawigi when I play Mario Kart, but some give this guy some attention! I know there's a game all about him saving his brother, but it's basically Super Mario with only 90 seconds on the clock.

4. The Marine (Alien vs. Predator)

I know you play as him, but you hardly ever get to know the character! It's not like in Halo 3 ODST where all you know of him is that he's rookie, but this guy has a low status of who he is. I mean when they reveal yourself, you wouldn't have known he was African-American! Let alone his rank! Maybe they thought you would know? Or maybe that was suppose to be the case of playing as this character. I don't know!

3. Monster Kid

In the game, you see him very frequently, but never really get to know him. I mean all you know about him personally is that he's a monster and is a kid. He also has no arms, so he might idolize Meteton? You talk with him to get a glimpse of his character, but don't really get his real name. Imagine his name is Nathan and we don't even know.

2. Jack (Bioshock series)

This guy is mysterious. Yes I mean it like Zer0! You don't know anything about him! I mean you have nothing, but a present to know his name. I mean you hear him in the plane scene, but people believe it was the person next to you talking. Who knows! Maybe it was your thoughts! Anyways, in the game, it made you wonder why you're on the plane and what was in that present that was from you? Were you jack? And he's another character you play as! And the most iconic symbol in this game is the chain tattoos, but it still doesn't explain this crazy protagonist!

Now for some honorable mentions

1. You (Call of Duty 1-3)

In the game Call of Duty classic, as people are calling it, you are a hero of which has completed the most impossible missions, but all you know about who you are is that you're learning the ropes. Of course you're in WWII and your either in Berlin or in Nazi Germany to complete a mission. That's literally all you and I can know about this character you're playing as. Of course you're never ranked up so everyone calls you private or rookie. But it really makes me wonder who are in this game? A legendary hero? Or just another Average Joe? I know at the time, characters weren't really presented as full humans or sentient beings, but look how the game was played: everyone had the emotions of a soldier at the time, you were meant to feel the sadness of the fallen in the beginning.

Well, what do you think was my list good? Or was it bad? Were the facts correct? I know it was great! I can see it in your face!

Well, 'till next time...

When My Sister Plays...

$

Remember those good old days where I blogged about wacky stories? Do you? Like, I don't know... When I'm Playing? Or Story 'Bout my Ma? Those kind of stories.

Well, I've got another story! Yes, if you read the title correctly, I'm telling a story about my gaming sibling rivalry. Now, we're both older and more intelligent, so we know a bit more about games and how to play them. It was Christmas in 2012 and we had our first 3DS's and we couldn't wait to play some multiplayer games!

My sister was confident on what to pick to dominate me, Street Fighter IV! Now it was a long fight, so let's get this over with, we fought about who might win for 5 months until I got the game, and we began the competition. She won mostly until I began to learn the moves and more and finally gave her what for. Then Smash Bros came out. Something new for us to fight with. Something new to let the anger out at each other.

Since me and my sis wanted to fight each other with this God Sent game, we both got it for the following Christmas. Me and my sis looked at each other once we got them. We were both thinking the same thing: I have to learn to play this game!

This was the first time we ever played Smash Bros ever and we never really got to know how the game was played or it's mechanics, so we learned. And we began to test our moves! Just to sum it up for me, I was like this...

All I wanted to do with that DS was throw it into a fire. We literally played for 6 hours straight! It was quite a battle. And I was loosing! So after accepting my defeat, me and my little friend, the DS, went to go practice. I left my charger cord connected and practiced my skills and made sure I perfected them. I stayed up all night playing Super Smash to the point sunlight harmed my eyes! God that reminded me of the time I played for two days without eating! But that's a story for another day.

So after seeing I was overplaying, I stopped when it was 3pm. Yes... DON'T JUDGE ME!! Anyways, I heard my dad saying we were going to a friends house, which they had a WIi U... WIth Smash Bros... It was time...

As soon as we got there, I said "Start up the Wii, because I challenge you Lidia!" I can see her shrug while my friend is confused. We explain to our dear friend and went with our competition.

It was an 8 man battle, me, my sister, our friend, our friend's brother, and her dad. We all had 4 lives and we all aimed to take out the CPU's. We all had faces of fury as my sister was just playing casually.

I knew she was going down. I could foresee it! As soon as we took out the last CPU, we all stopped, looking at each other both in-game and in reality. My sister smiled calmingly while I charged and tried to take out everyone else, but her. Luckily I succeeded and had an audience to watch my sis lose. My plan was ready, we both had one life left and we were at the brink of instant ringout.

I say to her with the most glaring smile "How does it feel to lose, huh?"

She was just sitting there all causal with her gaming face. We head butt each other to the point it was a miracle if we didn't get hit for a second. Everyone in the room was glued to the screen. They saw this was an even match, but one has to leave a winner. I was hoping that would be me. As we were playing, we were hoping for the hammer to instant knockout one of us. As soon as I thought about it, it appeared. I set my attention to that hammer and we both know what's going to happen next. This was going to be the end. The time I was training myself for!

I hear footsteps in the hallway. My dad says "Hey! what's going on?" and he says it so loud since the TV was at full blast, that it startled me. I lose my attention to the screen and she gets the hammer when I'm right next to it. It was obvious who won. I lost and she beat me once again.

What? You thought this was going to end with me winning? Ha! You don't know my sis! Well, I hope you liked my little story of humiliation! And don't forget to eat your Chibi Woffles!

And 'til next time...

Community Writing Challenge: Top 7 Most Overrated Characters in Gaming

$

From characters that are favored for the weirdest reason to characters that have the cool sucked out of them, we give you the 7 most underrated characters in gaming. This has been edited by my sis, QueenCatBu237, so give her a visit. Enjoy!

7. Solid Snake

A lot of people love Snake or Big Boss as you play some other entries of the game, but me? I just think he's another guy that gets too much love! Remember how Justin Bieber spat on his fans? Well, I can imagine Snake launching every single one of his screaming fans into the atmosphere... So... Much.. Launching!

The super soldier has so many clones too! Is that Liquid Snake or is that Solid Snake!? I mean make up you mind Kojima! I love your work and all, but you don't have to make the game like every game in Japan, confusing as hell!

6. Master Chief

Now, to stray away from Snake, how 'bout Master Chief? I know many have attacked him because he's basically the most famous and powerful guy in gaming history... I still think Doom Guy could have won...

Anyways, he is a bit of a badass when it comes to being one of the last original Spartans, but still. The fandom of the guy is a bit annoying. I mean did you guys hate it when I put him on my Top 10 lists? Probably almost made you ram your head on the table, huh?

Anyways, the games he was in were awesome... Until Halo 4 happened and destroyed the story completely and reforming it after Halo 5. God, that armor is too ugly to me.

5. Mario

Moving on, and I know many of you might hate this, but Mario is up there in my list of annoying characters. Trust me, his games marked my childhood greatly, but his voice made me cringe after Super Mario: Galaxy on the Wii.

I'm sorry if you love the guy, I know most of you out there love him as much as Scientology loves Tom Cruise, but I have to say it! As much as a hero goes, he is one big dreamer...

See what I did there? And that's not just a joke, it's actually true! The Mushroom Kingdom and the Princess that Mario saves are just his imagination. The original Super Mario where you clean sewer systems with animal infestation, was his real life job! I mean he's a loser in his original life, which is the reason why I put him so low on the list. It's a bit sad...

4. Link

I bet none of you really care about this entry on the list, huh? I don't know, just this guy has a lot of hidden love, and he also marked my childhood, but he gets annoying after a long while. I mean, it's redundant to have the voice acting be Link's grunting and yells.

And how confusing his own timeline is! And the games aren't even released in order of the timeline's pattern! I mean there is three cuts of the timeline: Adult, Kid, and the Failed route! And barely any of them are accurate if Link is an adult or not! This is starting to sound more than a rant than an overrated character description. Well, he's cool and all, but after all the timeline, I lost my interest in him.

3. Roland

I know, you might be saying "His death was the most emotional part of the game!" I know, but he was too full of emotion in the first game. I mean he yells in the game very happily! Does that sound like the Roland you know? I played as him to capture the emotion of the leader in Sanctuary, and found someone else. I saw an enthusiastic, up-beat guy with the face of a wall. That didn't fit in my book.

And how he says he doesn't like propaganda and has his face on propaganda poster everywhere!

Make up your mind, man!

2. Mega-Man

One of the most beloved characters of the 80's. Unless you're one of my friends that thinks this guy should DIE!!! But that's the point of this list. My friend says he's overrated and such as that, like saying he's a boy, programmed to be an average boy.

I know that's just stupid! He just wanted to help his father/creator in a time in need. That's the thing about him, a normal boy would feel afraid and try to not be apart of this problem with Mr. Wiley. Just so unrealistic! But like what my dad say, it's just a story.

1. Gordon Freeman

For our final entry, it's the legendary game's hero, Gordon Freeman. The hero all nerds praise... And Gabe... Praise Gaben and his holy creations he has given to us peasants of the outer world and PRAY FOR A 3RD GAME!!! Amen...

Anyways, he's just a doctor in the beginning of the series. A scientist that has no battle experience! No fighting knowledge nor any weapon skills! Unless you count the weapons he creates in the labs, but that's off the table.

I know all you nerds with the glasses with the tape in the middle love him, and surely I do too, but he was just a scientist in the beginning that magically got war experience. And how much respect is he getting when he can't speak!? I mean come on! How can you have a conversation with him without having him answer you!?

Do you want Dr. Pepper or Cola?

I would like some Pepsi instead, but I don't think I can speak right now. Should I? Just nod!

Cola? Okay!

But we can't deny how much we love that damn game... Was I complimenting?

Did you like my list? Did you enjoy it? I hope you did! If not then just stay seated and deal with it!

Well, 'til next time...

Gaster's Foretelling

$

A cold, bleak cavern of depression. The lives of these monsters can't hold much for long. They are not human, but they cannot live in such conditions. After hearing a new scientist and constructors would save the monsters' they cheer for him and whoever helps along his path.

"What do you think might happen, dad?" the voice is deep, but lingers with the body of a teen. "I mean, you can be worshiped by such a desperate kingdom."

"Nothing will happen, Sans. All that will happen is that we will finally have something to research on."

"Listen to him, Sans." another voice. It sounds older. "We will finally recreate our people once again."

"Papyrus is exactly right, Sans. You can learn a thing or two from such a smart mind." Sans shrugs in anger.

"Thank you father." The three walk to the royal's hideaway, to find what they might do. A castle in ruin. An ancient vessel of a once prominent civilization, and that vessel in arms of the two royals, the king and queen of the underground.

"Finally, you are back! We are in need of a good home. The underground is too cold! We need a warm living place for me and my wife." Gaster notices the queen is holding a child. An Infant.

"I never seen your child, my king. May I see him or her?"

"But... We must speak upon this hard matter!"

"I understand. Before we go on, these two are my sons." the two show themselves. A bright blue light shines on Sans and an  orange glimmers on Papyrus. "I am deeply sorry if it was rude I didn't introduce them earlier."

"Not at all. Now, we must speak of the situation."

"What is it you must know, my king?"

"What are your plans?" Sans is showing his worry. "What are your plans to rebuild my kingdom?" Gaster almost shivered in worry as he spoke i those words.

"If you must know, my king, we plan to create a powerhouse, an electrified grid of metal and copper that will give your cold home some warmth." Papyrus smiles. " Then, we build the cities, but of course we build your palace first. Afterwards, we shall be on our way. You shall never see us again."

"Are you sure you need to leave afterwards?"

"Yes. I am sure of it." Gaster the two brothers shake the royals' hands. Sans gives a deep smile the queen as she held her child. "Oh! I almost forgot, you only mention me to your people as you bring them the news. No one else shall know of these two."

"Why is that?"

"There is no reason, my king. I want these two be a secret of the rest of the monsters."

"If that is your wish." the two walk away and soon disappear in thin air. The kingdom and its royal owner is worried this might take too long. "What do you think they're up to, Torie?"

A large lab in the the deep underground is hidden in within it's depths. Gaster is planning on how much power should the powerhouse store. Papyrus is working by himself on his own project as Sans watches in boredom.

"So..." Papyrus rolls his eyes. He knows what he's doing. "What you doing, Papy?"

"An experiment Sans..."

"What kind?"

"It's just an experiment... What are you doing!?" Papyrus panics as Sans snatches the odd experiment out of his hands.

"Sans! What are you doing!?" the two struggle as Sans makes sure Papyrus doesn't get it back. Despite Sans and his shortness, he still managed to keep it away from him.

"What's the magic word?"

"JUST GIVE IT BACK!

"Magic word!?" Papyrus gave out a large sigh. The words he hated to say. Words that he won't want to say even if kills him.

"Will you leave me alone?"

"We won't find out until you say it!"

"But you'll give it back?"

"Yes."

"Fine!" He readied himself. "Spaghetti I forgety... As I speak I won't regrety." Sans hands him his experiment. He goes back to work and finally relaxes.

The door behind them slams open. "Sans, come with me." Papyrus looked away from his project and looked to Sans and Gaster. "I need to show you something" The two walk into his lab  while Sans looks around curiously. They soon go out into the cold caves of the underground.  "Look at this. Solid floor, right?"

"Yes?"

"Wrong!" he stomps on the floor and it collapses. Lava exerted from the ground.

"What are you showing me, dad?"

"I had an epiphany. Heat can be used as a force, yes? And mineral can be our oil. I have a marvelous idea, my son."

Top 10 Games that Make us Feel Old...

$

I'm only 16, but I got a few adult gamers, my dad, friend's dad, my dad's friends, etc. So I hope this relevant to what you older gamers out there like. From games that made you think it was the future to games that seems like years since you played it. I hope you enjoy.

10. Super Mario

My dad never played this game, because he was a Sega kid. But most of the people I asked they usually listed this as one of the most memorable. I would have to say, it is still a fun game, but you guys already know that. To cut this short, it's really one of the classics.

9. Call of Duty Classic

Most people don't remember this, but a lot of adults called this a Medal of Honor clone. Yes, that's what it was! They just modified it a bit and just did the same as it progressed through the generations. My dad is a CoD fan and he knows this game like he knows his kids! He still plays it today with his pals with a tall pint of beer.

8. Banjo-Kazooie

This is the legend and the reason why I still want a 64. My dad never liked it but he always felt old looking back at it. Most of the others people said it was one of those games that made you feel like you beat it 2 decades ago! They all said it was Rare's golden age. I would have to age

7.  Blood Rayne

Everyone named this game on the top of their heads. As soon as they called the game out, all they talked about was how hot Rayne was. I mean, I can see why, but she just looks like an ugly character model. Still this game is one of the best shoot 'em/beat 'em ups of the generation. If you ever come across this game, I suggest playing it! The game still holds up.

6.Mega-Man

A lot of the Nintendo loving adults love this game. Although, his original cover art was a bit hilarious, the game was a remarkable concept. Despite its incredible difficulty, the game marked our fathers' minds and ours as well.

5. Diablo

My dad hated this game for making him waste his life on it. Every time I say the name of this game, at least 5 people look at me. The game is remembered as one of the great RPG titles of the time. I would have to say, there is a lot of incredible replay ability. A few of my friends still have their dads hogging the computer because of this game.

4. Star Wars: KOTOR

A lot of people at the time came to some worry when it released, because of the previous disasters in the Star Wars gaming franchise, but it surprised most people. The game had a very compelling story, great  and loveable characters, and an awesome new look of the world of the Extended Universe. There is a reason why a lot of old fans of Star Wars loved this. I mean it feels like a work of George Lucas!

3. Mega-Man X

My dad loves this game. One time, we found it in the garage with a SNES console and 2 controllers. At the time, we were in need of money so we sadly had to sell the poor thing. For a lot too! It sold for almost a full grand! To be clear, I never played this game, but every time I mention Mega-Man, my dad asks if I'm talking about X.

It gained so much popularity, that it had two other sequels. Each one different from the last, the game is big, but never leaves your mind. Oh, if you ever come across Mega-Man X 3 at a Thrift Store, make sure you buy it! It sells for hundreds of dollars! It goes for even more with the box cover.

2. Sonic The Hedgehog

Aaah... That beautiful them... I know you Nintendo freaks love the more famous mascot, Mario, but this game went ahead of the track. See what I did there? I made a pun! Anyways, the game was remembered, but the high price of the console put the game to a deep hole.

Like how Street Fighter rose to fame, after the second game, it got noticed and marked the minds of my dad and almost every gamer there is. Don't think it hasn't! You know you love that game! I see you playing it on the DS! Don't you hide it!

Now for our Honorable Mentions.

1. Crash Bandicoot

Almost every PlayStation owner knows this awesome character. The game wasn't just fun, but hard! It had a combination of puzzle side scrolling and Mario kill mechanics. And that was the reason why it was so memorable! It made us almost rage quite! And he is also crazy enough to go to the Nintendo studio and tell them out!

But we still love this crazy, furry rodent!

Did you like my list? What game made you feel old? Why am I asking that? I know you guys won't answer!

And until next time...

Top 5 Bloggers on GIO...

$

The giant community of Game Informer has lots of creative writers. Most of which were hard to depict as number 1! And no. None of them paid me to put them on a list... I wish they did, but what'ya gonna do? From members that achieve to speak about gaming to veterans members that would have everyone cry if they left. I hope you enjoy.

Now since there is now evidence of their image, I will be using their profil pic or hero image as a replacement.

5. Phil Kollar

Once worked at  Game Informer, he was a great blogger, but that would be an understatement. I mean he helped out with those bloggers with trouble in the Writer"s Guild, he created the infamous Replay that GIO is now famous for, and shaped a lot Game Informer.

Even though, he spoke his mind a lot (Which is not a problem in my book), and made a lot us think of what was behind the basics of our favorite games, the awesome that lies in front of us that we don't notice! This is still an understatement,  but he was an awesome dude and a kind guy, which made it devastating when we heard he was leaving. Phil, if you're reading this (And I hardly ever think you will), we miss you...

4. GerardoExber

I know he might be reading this... Maybe... I don't know. He has some of the best talks about games! Surprise Gaming Reunion was fun to read!

Is Beating a Gaming Truly Satisfying was a great look on what is good when beating a game!

And don't get me started on his Community Challenge Entries!

They're just fantastic! Magnifique! We need more people like you in GIO. Both great writing detail, and awesome ideas we all need to hear!

3. Craigleg

I know a lot of you guys have seen him on the GIO Newsletter. Well, besides his creativity (Like most people that appear on this list), he likes to do more about himself. Something many would often do with a blog, but it doesn't shed light of his life like "I just ate a pancake at Ihop! What do you guys think of their food?" I'm talking about his experience in games, what he has got done on his Backlog, and he even shares what not many would blog about... HIS MARRIAGE!!!

What? Am I the only one that thinks talking about your true love to other people you don't know is weird? Well, okay! Nothing to judge on that... Oh and Craig... Sorry if you think this is bad to show on my blog. I can take it off if you like.

2.  Marco Polo

Many would say that Ninja is a bit cooler than what's underneath that cloth mask... What? It's nothing bad? No wonder he's on #2.

If you haven't read what is on his blog, you should go do that right now! Do it! He explores a lot of both sides of the good and bad of gaming, the payment is awful, but the game could enhance the way we think of things. The game wasn't what we expected, but we can learn from those mistakes. He isn't afraid of to tread on either side of the band wagon.

Now for a few honorable mentions...

Dalin Briggs

MightyMagikarp

And now for the #1

1. Saint

Like the profile he chose, he is a legend in GIO. Almost every blogger on this site was inspired by such an awesome writer/blogger! None of his blogs were a mess, and they never will be. He made blogs that marked games as a whole, talked to us like we were family! He was just awesome. And that;s the ultimate understatement. But, like all the greats, he left. He stopped blogging. He ceased to speak on GIO. He was never heard from again. Or did he?

I've seen him comment on a few of the bloggers out there, but I'm not sure it means he's back... The theories are flooding!

I know I missed a few greats out there, so please name them! I would love to see some people's ideas of writing! But as usual...

The Reasoning of The VR

I have heard that people hope this fades and is continued being know as a fad, but what they don't understand is that it's something that we need job-wise. What do I mean? I mean the VR wasn't made to entertain you, it was made to train a person in the occupation such as Surgery, piloting, and even war.

A lot surgeons are careful and can't practice on simple dumbies in CPR classes, they need a subject to be a surgeon. Surgeon simulator isn't a good depiction of what might happen because that's for viral purpose. The VR would practically give us a literal depth in how to preform such a hard job.

Now in piloting, there is a similar device that simulated what a plane may operate, but it's 67.8% of what a real plane would be like, because of the lack of depth. If we had a VR installed in a large rotating device, it it would raise the percentage buy 20, making the VR capability a better training device.

Can be for Other Purposes

If you look at it, the VR can do more than just allow us to be in a game. What if we could be in a movie? You don't need to be apart of the movie, but you can watch an entire movie as if you were there. Watch the Avengers fight Apocalypse as you sit there observing it. I know they did things like that with talk shows live, but what about a cinematic event instead a tedious talk show?

I know what you might be thinking, what about the VR porn? I know and funny thing, Blue Rays were actually brought to its fame today because of porn. Hard to believe it, but it's true. I know some how, the VR will go along the same shameful path.

What VR's May Do

As said in one of Lemino's videos, we always said that we would extend to space and expand from out there. Why do that when we extend inward and create our own world and be free with in those worlds, with no consequences, no punishments, and nor regrets! Many don't see it, but a simulation can be one of the greatest frontiers man has to cross.

Well, there is a lot that may or may not happen with VR, but I know it will never fade as a fad. But that's just my opinion, like how you think this picture isn't funny...

And 'till next time...
