Game Ideas: Berserker Class

My dream job is actually being a Game Designer, I've always wanted to create my own game. I never had the time to do so, but I always write my ideas down. Now, as a fan of the Team Based Shooter, I've always wanted to make my own and the Berserker Class is the most complicated of a class. 

The class is a melee class that carries about 250 points of health, he can wallrun and can kill a man and use his corpse as a human shield and their weapons to defend himself. I was always fascinating by class weapons, so I made a list that might take advantage of the match, with a few drawbacks. I hope you enoy this class weapon list and please give me your feedback about these.

Default Gauntlets:

  • Shield cover for 10 seconds

  • Allows player to impale players and use them as bullet sponges

  • Allows player to wall run for 2 seconds

  • Weapons from fallen enemies can be picked up by walking into them or executing an enemy player

  • Causes 45 points of damage with every blow

  • Swing is at a have a second interval


Buzz Blades:

  • Shields cover for 3 seconds

  • Player will have to execute a player in order to grab a weapon

  • Does not allow bullet sponges

  • Does 45 points of damage with every blow and causes bleeding damage with 4 points of damage per second, lasts 10 seconds

  • Swing is twice as faster


Pistol Grips:

  • Shield cover is removed from player’s abilities

  • Starts with a semi-automatic pistol in one hand and a wrist cannon on the other, replacing the cover ability

  • Pistol causes 20 points of damage for every hit

  • Wrist cannon acts as a shotgun and can cause 100 points of damage, depending on the range

  • Heals the player by 15 points for every 3 seconds

  • Wallrunning is extended to 15 seconds now


Lance-O-Lot:

  • Shield cover is removed from the player’s abilities

  • Gives a player a long blade, allowing a medium range attack

  • Player is able to commit special executions

  • Bullet Sponges are 35% durable and gives the player 3 more magazines for every weapon grabbed

  • A charge ability replaces Shield cover ability, doing 45 damage on enemy players. If charged from behind, it’s causes a rare execution

  • Wallrunning is removed when equipe

  • Weapon causes 50 points of damage

  • Swings slower

 

Assassin Blades:

  • Shield cover is depleted to 45% durability

  • Player is given smaller blades, making the range 50% smaller

  • Despite its size, the player is able to stealth kill players from a distance and can drop kill players from large heights.

  • Bullet sponges are 70% more durable

  • Player can only grab pistols and semi-automatic weapons

  • When executing, player can only grab the enemy’s pistol, if carried or not.

  • Blades cause 45 points of damage and can track players when struck

  • Faster swing


Courier Blades:

  • Shield cover is 10% stronger and can deflect bullets, not while taking damage in explosions

  • With every kill, you gain partial immunity with damage for 5 seconds

  • Every weapon pick up, you gain the class weapon ability, not taking out the shield ability.

  • Sprint is 25% slower

  • Damage input is 15% stronger

  • Jump is 5% higher


Gaiden Strife:

  • Replaces blades with a large Kitana

  • Reflects damage when shielding except explosions

  • Shield duration is only 5 seconds long

  • Damage output is 50 points for every hit.

  • Swing Duration is 3 seconds long

  • Can only gain pistols and small sidearms from corpses

  • Speed is increased by 15%

  • Jump is 10% higher

  • Damage input is 20% stronger

  • Bullet Sponges are at a time limit, 10 seconds.  


Spanish Daggers:

  • Replaces blade with two small (Mexican style) daggers

  • No Shield cover

  • Replaces character speech to Spanish Translation

  • Every kill done spawns a red rose upon the corpse

  • Damage output is 45 points

  • Can dash at opponent when player strikes

  • Speed is increased by 15%

  • Jump is 5% lower

  • Damage input is 5% stronger

  • Health is increased to 280 points instead of the normal 250

 

Although, this won't be real at all, but I keep these notes just in case I actually get the moment to. If you guys have any feedback about these, please tell me, I would love to see what would be wrong with these.
