Top 5 Sinister Things We Love to do in Game...

We love how much we can do in some games. You kill trusted friends without the guilt you would get in real life or even decimating a corpse that was once your enemy. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top five list of sinister things we love to do in our games!

5. Kill Your Friends!

If you ever played a CoD match where the host or Admin turned on the friendly fire and felt the pleasure that is killing your friends as you can hear their screams of annoyance, then you are a monster! Although, I felt that pleasing kill before, but you're a monster for doing it, too! Many people for some reason like to do this to either troll or annoy other players. Sometimes we can do that on accident and still not care that you did that. You can get booted for it, but you know how many people can make that mistake.

4. Cheers for Death!

Since the Infamous Tea-Bag was invented in Halo, many have actually made some of their own for their enemies to spectate. If you played Call of Duty for a while, then you might have gotten that Kill Cam of they guy shooting your corpse in the crouch or someone proning on your corpse while they stab it repeatedly. Imagine doing that in real life. Next thing you see is a Navy Seal Tea-Bagging a dead Isis Member. Man... America would be hated more than it is today.

3. No Remorse for the Dead

We all love to play multiplayer and we never really think of those we killed, we just care about that kill count. What we never think is what happens to those that have died? We see Johnny die in front of us and just move on with the battle. No war torn "NOOOOO!!" in the process? Just think that this guy must have sucked and kill the guy that tried to kill you and that guy that sucked. I guess now that some games have changed this saying it's just a simulation and all that... Too bad Johnny's not here to see that to be real... Poor Johnny...

2. The Innocent Must not Live!

In lots of RPG's, people tend to not care for those that are accepting your presence. Either it's because of the gold/cash, or maybe because of that awesome gun, but we all love to kill that one innocent bystander that doesn't expect it. But if you really look at it, that's how the olden days use to work. Kill that guy with the awesome and priceless items to get his stuff!

1. Kill That B**ch!

Who hasn't done this? Well, I never really played GTA so you can put me on that list. Anyways, the one thing many players have done in GTA is get a prostitute and kill her for a refund. I know prostitution is a bad thing to have as an occupation, but does she have to die for it? In the state that most of our society has shaped into, I can imagine someone doing this in real life. Without getting political, look at this!

Well those are the sinister things that most players have enjoyed in gaming! Well, they aren't sinister in gaming reality, but if you look at in a realistic standard... Yeah, no. You don't wanna think that. Too much and too cruel... Well, I hope enjoyed this little tidbit of a blog, and as usual...

Let's Talk - Console Gaming

A long time ago, back in the 3rd generation of gaming, actual competition between consoles, NES and the Sega Genesis. There was something that really separated the two with actual differences that made them what they were. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this little talk on console gaming.

Remember when there was that competition between Sega and Nintendo? That was the beginning of console wars. In the 80's there was a big difference between the two and it was the price. The NES was cheap while the Genesis was worth an arm and a leg. Through the ages, that was the core reason why the games from Sega was so low while Nintendo was winning the sales competition.

Then once Sony parted from Nintendo, there was the birth of a new console war. The Playstation became the  best selling console on the market and taunted Nintendo for not letting them be independent on their project together. Soon, other consoles started the whole Disc thing as Sony did hoping to gain the same fame. That did not work. Sega failed. PC gaming was a bit bad at the time with discs and Nintendo saw the consequences and left that idea alone.

As soon as the Disc problem was sorted, there were more than one console to choose from. You could buy the PS2, the Gamecube, Xbox or the Dreamcast and almost had the competition in the Console wars destroyed. Turns out the only ones that stood tall were the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox. The Dreamcast ended it's fight in the war after 2 or 4 years of it's release in America. Ultimately, the PS2 and Xbox stood tall as Gamecube was put aside.

As soon as the 360 and the PS3 came to be, the war began with only two competitors on hand. I mean there was the Wii, but it became a flop 3 years later. Anyways, the two consoles became the start of the console wars of today. Nintendo and Sega was out of the fight and shook hands while PS3 kept attacking the 360. This war became more than just a debate, but into a fighting conversation. If you lived in big cities and wanted to pre-order these consoles, you and the competitors would be screaming at you. Sometimes, fights would break loose as more and more arguments came to be.

That was then. Now? Well, the war is still going while Nintendo watches with a smile and Sega trying to get back into it. I was never in this war. I had the Gameboy as a kid while I played my dad's Genesis when ever I got home from school. It just seemed stupid to me. Well, enough of me. The consoles today, aren't so different. I mean there are some minor differences, but between which is better is harder now. I mean, you can't compare the graphics between the consoles because there are some many little differences that can't really be seen at first glance. There is the controllers, but who cares about that? Most players care about the games on the consoles themselves than the controllers. You can look at the games they have exclusively, but which has better ones? And even if you can decide on that, which would you prefer? A console that allows you to play last gen games? Or a console that allows you to play 5th gen games, but rent last gen games for a short time with a wild price? There are differences, but some don't really overlap each other. Most might say the PS4 is way better, while most others will say the same with the Xbox when there are hardly anything to compare harshly to! They are both great, but which would I want more. Good thing I settled with the both of them instead.

I'm done here... I hope you guys aren't going to start a war in the comments. Well, anyways, I'm going to stick to PC right now and show you guys this meme and leave...

Tear Jerking Moments in Gaming!

If you didn't notice already, I've been with gaming for about 12 years now. That's about 80% of my life right now, and I had moments that made me cry when there were reveals, releases, or even a moment in the game that made me cry. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to another Community Writing Challenge!

My earliest memory of my gaming passion came out with a white hot happiness was a Christmas morning. At the time I was a big fan of the game Metal Slug (Still am) and I heard three months before that they released a game that had all 6 of the Metal Slug games in one plastic case and disc. Once I woke up that Christmas morning, I saw tons of presents and this was the first time of any Christmas that me and my sister had that many presents, the sight of almost 20 presents that year almost brought us to a crying happiness. I opened everything and didn't find that game. I mean, I got Super Mario Galaxy and The Twilight Princess in one present, but I couldn't find the game I wanted for about 4 months by then. Looked in the stalkings to see if it was in there, but I couldn't find it. My dad asked me if I got what I wanted. I just replied, "I got the things I wanted, but I didn't get Metal Slug." He smiled and told me to look in the stalking by my bed and found that game. I almost cried for how much I felt! That kid in the picture is crying about getting Minecraft while I got 6 games in one.

As I got older (About 12 years old at the time), I looked at the world differently and actually felt some emotion about life's hard times. It was the time I got both of the Bioshock games at the time, 1 and 2. I felt like I missed something when I played the first Bioshock a few years back from then, I wanted to see if I missed something. So I played the game from beginning to end. Of course I got the good ending where you save the Little Sisters and show them the surface. Once I got to that, I almost wanted to cry. It was so touching, you saved the sisters and showed them what they have been forbidden to have as a child and in return, they made sure they were there with you until the end. Still haves me shed a tear just thinking about it.

Another just about 4 years later, was an E3 event. I was a big fan of both Elder Scrolls and Fallout. I played them both through it's lengths and gave me lots of found memories I love to treasure as a gamer. I heard the company that made their latest games Fallout 3 and Skyrim, I was excited to see what they had to show off. I saw Dishonored 2 coming to us and thought that was awesome. Not a moment of tears, but it made me and my dad jump up in happiness. Once I saw Todd Howard walk to stage, I knew he was going give us something awesome. Once he announced the Fallout 4, a game that was a lost hope and a hoax for years, was finally coming to us on consoles and PC. I screamed. I couldn't wait. Once he should us the reveal trailer, I could remember everything I had done in Fallout. Disarming that Atom Bomb in Megaton, a choice to kill that talking tree, everything memory was cycling back to me as I watched that trailer. I bursted out crying. Being a fan of a game is big deal if it made 2 years of your life. And that's the soul reason why I cried. I know most of you call that game a waste of money or a waste of time to play, but I love that game. I do not care if you say it's as awful as crap, I love this game and I will love every bit I explore in it.

Those are my stories! So what made you cry? What brought you to tears? I bet I can name one!

I hope you enjoyed this and 'til next time...

The Story of Jeramy: Part One

$

Author's Note: I promised this a long time ago, but I want to separate this into parts because of how complex this was. I am still working on Amnesia, but I want to put that aside for now and I hope that isn't too much of a disappointment. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this story that took me too long to put together with friends.

The world is something to watch. You can never look away on it's actions. Not even it's mistakes and mishaps. This world, to me has been something rather interesting. Nothing has been more enticing to watch than this world's history. In this world, there a race of felines, Joraals as they call themselves. They are an equal race of peace and equality. Of course there are the humans. A race of war-enjoying beings of power wanting more and more of it to take as much as they want.

Their king, Sir Karl Hamalton, saw the Joraals as a lower race. A race of no purpose. Soon, this mire opinion became fact to the humans. They wanted to give them a certain purpose of which they would be useful. This is when I met Jeramy. A simple infant he was. Of course, I only observed him. His parents could not see me even though I plainly standing in front of them. I was a ghost to them. To anyone. But some had the power to see me. Some ignore my presence or simply stare at me. Even though, Jeramy did not have this power, I still followed him. And he was more interesting than the world itself.

As soon as the humans decided the fate of the Joraal's and their primary purpose, they came to every tribe and village the humans could find and captured all who were old enough to be put into auction for slavery. I have seen false messages from gods that made havoc, but none could match how intriguing this was. I could not stop to looking away.

I could see the mothers ripped away from their children, brothers and sisters saying goodbye to each other as they were all sold to the humans. I saw lives being torn apart within seconds. I thought families would be reunited again, however, I knew little of Jeramy's path. I tried to find him, but there was no trace. He seemed to be the core distress out of this entire village. I hear the mother call out to him. I looked and found two men with crossbows pointing them at the mother as she held her child, keeping him away from the humans. The father was held back with the other humans wanting to take him away to auction. He struggled as he tried to stop the crossbows from firing. He was too late. Although it hasn't happened, but as I watched I could feel her soul drifting into my own.

The bowmen pulled their hair triggers and let the bolts flying. Luckily the bolts only hit the mother instead of Jeramy. Sinister thoughts to admit, but it was either the child or the mother at that point. The father wanted to attack them. I could feel his rage. In my eyes, still saw her standing there. I walked to her and simply told her to walk to the sun as it set. She listened and walked towards the sunset. I could see the sudden fear in her eyes, It was small, but I could see it. I looked to the father, but could not see them. The carriage that held them were miles away. The humans that were left in the village seemed to be ordered to burn it.

As I went to came to the carriage, the Joraals were kept in such an enclosed space. Twenty were held in a ten man carriage as they were going to be sold into auction as slaves. It was a two day long ride for them. "Where do you think they are taking us, Khal`En?" the Joraal next to said to the father.

"I do not know, Ji'Khar." he said as his eyes kept staring down to what was the floor.

"I saw what happened Jera`Es... I am sorry for that..." The father's eyes started to fog as a tear fell down his cheek.

The carriage grew to a stop and two men on the outside opened the wooden doors to let out the Joraal of the carriage. The light seemed like it was to harsh for the Joraal, as if they were stuck in darkness for months. "Get out!" the guard demanded.

"What?" One of the Joraal questioned him.

"I said get out you Khaja pieces of s**t!" he got out his crossbow and lit the bolt on fire. They rushed out as they were all placed on a wooden podium as if they were for display. The children were placed in cradle for the same purpose. Men began to flood the area as they started to place bids. Men on a stand was placing bids of the ones who wanted one, as men shouted which one they wanted. Many called them Khajas. An offensive term. To them it meant worthless or nothing, but to the humans it mean just another Joraal.

The father was ignored as the rest were auctioned out of the area. I could see him eying the cradles, he knew where his son was, he just wanted to make sure he wasn't forever gone. As the place was almost at easy, an old man walked up in the podium and patted the father's furry back. "I could see you staring at those cradles." The father looked away from them and stared at the old man. "Which one is yours?" He almost bursted into tears as the man was going to reunite him and his son.

"What is your name, sir?" the father said.

"Mine? My family calls me Hannible Higgans. You can call me Hannible, Higgans or Ham. Which ever suits you." The old man smiled as the father stood their barely crying. "Now, which one is yours?" He took him to the the cradles and showed him to his son.

"How beautiful." the old man said. "That mark on his forehead is so angelic." I looked and he was right. That mark was beautiful. It was in the shape of a flaming phoenix. It was like the All Maker's art plastered on a living vessel.

"Thank you, sir. How may I repay you?"

"By working on my farm like the rest I own. Your son is no longer yours, but mine." The father's smile faded as the man held his son like as if he was his  own. "I shall call you Jeramy." He said as the old man's guards pulled the father to his carriage to be dragged to another place of hatred.

Let's Talk - Who is the Courier?

If you ever played the game New Vegas, you must have had a lot of questions. Most of them might have been minor, revolving around the story most likely. Me? I was wondering who my character was! Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to another thought blog!

The game begins with your character getting shot in the head by a man in a checkered suit, because you had something precious to him and who ever knows about it. Somehow left breathing still with a bit of amnesia. You are picked up by a robot and find find out you need to finish your job.  A little bit of a predictable situation, but the same question lingered in my head as I found out where my Courier Job came from, which was basically in the area, and asked myself "Why doesn't anyone know me?"  An odd question indeed, but if you lived in the area before you got shot, then shouldn't someone say "What's up johnny!" to me?

I mean, you can say, "Oh, the Courier was hired from another state!" but I must say that they never mention it! They say nothing about who you are or where you came from! If you aren't an over-thinker like me, then you might not have thought this was most brain wrenching question in your mind.

What happens in the previous games is that you are a Vault Dweller, a person who has lived in a vault for most of his/her life (Obviously). And no one knows you naturally because of it. Now, New Vegas made a bigger step by having the player be a Courier, a person that knows the land's troubles and monsters in it's wastes, so some people should know you as "That Courier," but somehow no one knows your name or face, and most of all, know why you had that package!

So, how did Checkered D**che know you and how did he know where that was and who would have it!? I know that's a lot to question, but it's so confusing and has to be answered! As you progress in the game farther, you find where you took the job, which was in a town, and get some information on Checkered D**che, but barely any on you. I mean, you get something about a guy named Ulysses that might have known you. I don't know, but they were really vague about it. So questions how you even met him and even wonder if you were friends with him.

When you play the DLC, Old World Blues, you find more about Ulysses and find out he's a hero... I guess... When you hear he's a political man that wants to make America into what it once was. And at last! We get the DLC, Lonesome Road, was released! Once we meet Ulysses, you find out one thing about you, that you are a person that cares for only money! He was the only one who put down the job offer to deliver the chip and finds out you took it. Apparently you were friends? I don't know. It's all confusing. Although, he is considered a fan favorite character, he was a bit more vague about the player's past life before he/she got shot.

This got so many people like me confused! Some have started a theory that the reason why no one knows you is because your face is disfigured because of that shot in the head. Although the shot wasn't a normal shot, the shrapnel pierced your skin so severe that it made your face look deformed or worn, that no one could recognize you. That character customization was all to create what you thought you use to look like. I mean, the doc in the beginning makes it clear that he tried to make sure you looked the way you use to look like or what you thought you looked like.

What do you think? Do you think I missed something? Something that might prove that the Courier had a good life? Give me something! I want to know! But I want you guys to know something....

And 'til next time...

The Colossus Method

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best games on the Playstation and is one of the most artistic game of the 5th generation. Although, when the game came to it's release, people were enraged because of how empty and lonesome the game really was. Most of the players came around while others still called this game an empty disaster. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this little tip to devs and designers.

Although, the game is actually empty and the only thing you would fight are the Colossi you encounter, but this is what gives off the greatness of the game. Since each Colossus is only shown in a small scale statue when you are ordered to kill them and hardly any detail on how big they are and what they look like, this gives the player a sense of mystery and wonder. And gives the player the most time to think about what they might fight and how will they overcome their power and strength. The empty landscape is such a great feature in the game because you can have time to relax and contemplate on why you are in this temple and why are these Colossi are here and what is their purpose.

It is very hard to make this feature a good one in any game, since most can be predictable or plain stupid to be honest. There are many games you can play that has this awesome feature, Ocarina of time marks it's beautiful landscape with some mystery and wonder while Dishonored gives off an unexplained beauty as you travel Dunwall and Fallout makes you want to piece together the lifestyle of the past, before the bombs fell. There isn't a name for this Mystery Method as far as I know, but I would like to call it The Colossus Method

Many people can label each other, but in terms of what devs do in different countries, I would say that the Europeans design their games with creativity and imagination, while the Americas design their games independently, but the Japanese love the hard work put in a creative game. Japan makes some of the best and bizarre game you can buy and most of them won't weird you out. Because of how imaginative they are and how hard working they can be in their jobs is amazing in my standards. If you look at it, most of the Japanese Developed games have done the Colossus Method. Final Fantasy has done it, Persona has done this, and even the Souls series has given some mystery and emptiness. They have given us some of the greatest games we could find and we have been thrown into the same type of theme without knowing.

Mostly the method isn't just based on mystery, it also can be enhanced with a large beauty around it, it can even be an ugly type of beauty. If you have ever played a game with a large variety of pretty architecture and beautiful landscape, you tend to wonder how this was all made and who did such a beautiful thing. The scale of what you see and what you are told makes the player think and want to know more, and if sent into a purposeful confusion, the player will want to demand more from the developer or  writer who sculpted such a story and landscape. If you are about to fight a Colossus, you are both amazes and intimidates you because of how they were designed and built.

What do you think of this method? Would this be a great method to use in the next game? Well, I would love to here, but 'til next time...

Top 5 Games with Good Secret Stories

$

There are good stories that are always shoved in our faces and we're always tired about that! But the best stories comes out with a surprise and always is hidden. From games with stories told in the environment to stories told so subtly, Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top 5 games with good hidden stories!

5. Super Mario

This had a pretty simple plot in a strange world and somehow had everyone weirded out by it's odd story. The game, as we know it, is about Mario, a Plummer, saving Princess Peach, Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, from the villain Bowser, the Ruler of Koopa Palace. A large world for it's time and a very odd one. We all know it now, but before, we just thought this game was about a guy that ate mushrooms and killed turtles.

4. Doom Classic

This game, believe it or not, had a really long and odd story. You are in a group of other super soldiers to stop whatever threat the scientists were facing on Mars. Once you got there, your men were slaughtered or gone mad and ran away. You were left in station E1M1, which began your journey into mars. The creators, however, didn't want to put this story in since John Carmack didn't like the idea of a story in a game. He said and I quote, "It's like a porn video, the story's there, it just doesn't matter."

3. Team Fortress 2

This Free-To-Play game has an entire reason why you are fighting against the same foes and doing the objects you are assigned to. The game's lore says that back in the late 1800's, these two brothers are fighting over heritage from their dead father. The father wrote in his will that the brothers have to share this heritage money to finally get along. This failed largely. The fight began with the brothers hiring the same set of people with the same skills at the same time to kill other. This fight all the way to 1964, where the two brothers are kept alive with machines and wires. So you are leading an endless fight with two idiot brothers that want the money for themselves.

2. Titanfall

As bad as the devs tricking us that there was a working campaign in this game, the game had a strange story. This rebel group called the Militia was trying to claim land back from the IMC that stole them. They fight to the point that their leaders are at least dead or captured to claim the planet's land back from either side.

1. Black Ops Zombies

If you didn't know, the Zombies mode in CoD Black Ops has an actual story behind it, although a confusing one. In WWII times, scientist, Professor Richtofen, created a machine that could travel towards time and space, but lead to a time where Zombies were reality and created havoc in the Berlin.Richtofen went to save his daughter and traveled back in time to save themselves, but instead having his daughter lost in space and time, she took control of the zombies and led them to her own bidding, Richtofen was sent to a time where he hired three men to be his bodyguards, but instead having to kill his other self and the zombies that followed him. Although, I got all this from a Wiki page, but I'm not sure I got this story right. Did I? Please tell me in the comments.

What do you think of this list? Was I accurate enough to get all the stories right? You can tell me, but as usual...

A Story About My Great Abuela...

I have a lot of lovely family members. They are the nicest people you will know if you ever met any of them. The one that likes to be mentioned around the family get-togethers was my Great Abuela. They said she was the best person to be around and gives the best times in any of my family's lives. She bought my dad a Hacked Sega Genesis with Street Fighter and Sonic 2 with it and got my dad into gaming. She payed for my grandpa and Abuelita's trip to Vegas as she babysat my dad, aunt and uncle. And she even provided my Cousin the money and home to survive in Mexico when he got kicked out. She was such a nice person in the country of the savage!

What was cool about her was that she loved technology and video games. Although, it was the 80's at the time, she loved playing the NES and the Sega Genesis from time to time. She loved gaming so much that she opened her own shop for it. She sold so many games ported from Japan and hacked consoles that were basically considered black market products. She sold merchandise of games, backpacks in Mario theme, and even stuff only sold in Japan! She was such an awesome person to the family. She played and lived all the way to the early 2000's and loved games like Halo and Dead Rising. She experienced 3 generations pass and loved them so much.

As Mexico got worse, the shop got frequently robbed at gunpoint. She would lose hundred of dollars as people stole left and right. It wasn't long until she had to close shop since one guy almost shot her son, my Grampa. It was that time she wanted to visit the family she had in America and in 2007 was the year I met her in a Lazy-Boy chair playing CoD Multiplayer with my cousins. She was such a nice person when I met her. I was only 8 at the time and I thought she was a myth in the family, but everything they said was true. She was the nicest person in the world that I could name besides my Abuela.

I could hardly talk to her since I didn't speak spanish, but we communicated as much as we could. Most of the time we talked was in the middle of a match. She told me stories from what little english she knew about her life. She faced her brother's death when she was only a teenager, she jumped the wall with her best friend, and she even told me how she and her husband met. Many kids of that age of the time would have thought this was boring, but I thought she was the most interesting person. Sadly, that was the only day I would see her. She died in 2010 and everyone was devastated. I could not attend her wedding since the Border Crossing situation would be awful and the entry would have been a burden. I wish I could have. She was the best piece of family I knew.

My second cousin, Ruben was not well with her death, she made most of his life and got him into computers and Quake. She made up most of his life. So, to honor her, he bought the abandoned shop that was once my Great Abuela's. It's still has it's name too, even though it's a Computer Repair shop. El Jugador. I hope to visit it soon.

I hope you enjoyed this little story of mine! Do you have an elderly family member that plays as much as my Great Abuela? You can tell me, but as usual

The Prison and Torment of the Unforgeting ...

$

Author's Note: wrote this a long time ago in 8th grade. It was for a symbolism themed essay. I got B- on it and bumbed my grade in the class from an F to a F+... I guess this wasn't a big finals Essay!

Forever attuned. Forever on course. Forever on the same loop of which no one will appreciate. A distant crow of symbols and tales of which to tell and present, but this crow is one not amused with the torture of which he has to learn. He soars towards the graves, of which the dead lie, and the men give waste of their sorrow. This crow comes not to share his meanings, but to relieve them from his mind, to find peace and inspiration to tune instead of one in a constant loop of annoyance.

He carries his claws to the statues of which he calls the damned. The women who lived and died in awful styles. He comes to take one's caring hand and closes his eyes. The crow clears his mind, no pictures, no thoughts, only an empty darkness of he endures. One speaks behind him,"You comes in spite of obsession of death?"

The crow lunges in the air and hovers, "Who speaks?" he screeches. "I do not favor those of tricks."

"I am not one with tricks, but one with embrace." The statue he sat upon speaks, but her lips does not move. The crow lingers in the air as he contemplates who he talks to.

"Embrace?" The crow spoke aloud. "What embraces of which you speak?" He flutters still in the air as the statue's stone hands clutch ever so softly.

"Give her take. The embrace of which anyone longs for is the one I speak of." The crow is mesmerised as he watches the statue speak without a single jolt of her lips.

"Can you speak you name?" The crow wonders.

"I can, that is if you want you soul to be mine."

"My soul is my own, so leave you deal as it was." The crow gently settles on her clenched fist as another voice sobs in the corner of ear.

"You speak you mouth as if it was something to show for!" the feminine voice began to whimper. "We do not need to heed your constant stories and your bragged legends!"

The crow turned towards the seductive sobbing voice and saw a statue with plastered tears on her face, a robe covers her eyes, but her cheeks show as her arms and hands reach for her eyes under the robs.

"And who might you be?" the crow asked.

"What does my name matter? The simple mortal will shrug in disgust if they were to hear it." The statue's hands began to clench as well as she spoke her sorrow.

"Do not feel ashamed of your features and your gifts. They are your armor of which would protect you from the wars of life."

"You do not understand, we are not ones of this world."

The crow settles once more utop her kneeling leg and looks under her robe to see her face. A voice, again, interrupts him, but this time, the voice was not delicate, a voice of power and spite rushes to be heard.

"Shut you god forsaken mouth. Your constant whining annoys us as we stand still in this field of sorrow and respect."

The crow stares silently towards the statue to find a woman with a spear held in one hand and severed head of a roman man in the other. "You seem familiar, to me..." the crow spoke silently.

"I am but a forgotten goddess of time and war. My death is my shackles of my belief." the statue spoke, but still her lips stayed, unmoveable and still in it's place.

"I do not mean to intrude, but who are you figures? Is this but my imagination? I have never encountered such a strange moment such as this. Even in a graveyard such as this."

The statues shutter a laugh as the crow stays on the knee of the sobbing statue. "What is so laughably funny?"

"You are a crow!" the strong voice began to overpower the atmosphere. "You should have met us before hand?" The sobbing voice began to speak.

"We have met so many crows pass by with so much to empty, so much to relieve from their mind and soul. You should have know us from the beginning!" The crow becomes annoyed.

"I have no time for this, I must leave!"

"But your soul must relieve its stress, my dear," the soft voice cleanses the crow's anger. "You must submit to our cleansing touch." He does what the soothing voice said to him and closes his bright yellow eyes, clearing his soul of it's rambling and relaxes himself. "Your obsession of death..." her soothing voice was no longer peaceful, but loud and frightening. The crow, startled, jumps and in the air and has his mind flooded with thoughts.

"Why are you figures so startling. And what do you mean my obsession of death?"

"Oh, but do not fear, your obsession with it is but a love song in my ears."

"I carry no obsession of such a thing, nor shall I keep one such as that." the crow's words began to shutter one's of lies.

"You do not see, but your blindness of which is common of those who deny the truth." The crow speaks with anger.

"Blindness? I carry no blindness of anything, I see all and believe all. No one has endured what I had," the eyes of the crow stare downwards, in show of his realisation of the truth.

"Edgar, you need not panic of your past," the crow's eyes widen as his name was called.

"How do you know my name, madam?" He turns as looks towards the other statues and finds they are not there. The spear wielding, forgotten goddess is not there to show her forgotten glory and the sobbing statue with the robes of the damned, and plastered tears of sorrow was there to let her feelings go to those who would help. "Where are the others? I demand answers!"

"Oh, your mind is full of questions," he lips morphed a skeleton grin. "You were chosen by me, Edger. And those who I choose are those I know."

"Who are you?" the crow asked. Her statue began to crumble with age and vegetation.

"I am once was the single most embraced being as times ends for one's life." Her voice before was soothing, but there was the voice of devastation that sank in his mind. "I have met hardly any with this rare obsession, Edgar. But you are the most gifted of those I met." The crow is silent as the statue forms a shadowed robe covering herself as a scythe begins to form around her hands as her skeleton grin is all you see in the light that shines upon her. "Your writing is but a conjuring of one's creativity. Yet, you still wrote about me as I was of knew quality."

"Are you talking about my failed writings? I rather not speak of it. I had inspiration, but it was the fact I've seen you in my head so many times. I feared you, but came to love you."

"Yet, you do not want to embrace me?" her voice settles into a peaceful state. "Why do you come to see death and sorrow in this gravefield, but not come and embrace your own death and sorrow?"

The crow's eyes began to linger to the ground as the lady's voice became heavy on his mind. "I do not want my stories, my poetry, my life to be forgotten. As long as I stay in this form and life style, I know my life's work will stay eternal."

Her voice starts to lift her wait as she begins to feel sorrow for the poor soul. "Eternal is what you want, but eternal needs always become an illusion." Her voice became a void. "You do not want to become an illusion do you?" The crow's thoughts were nothing, but what she spoke of. "Do not worry, Edgar. Take me hand and embrace the light." A light began to shine inside of her as her hand was freely presented in front of him. "Be engraved in history and be loved by loved by those who know your life." The grow hovers over her hand and lands gently on her as a free feeling fills the crow. "I will place you on this pedestal and your image will never be forgotten, forever attuned, forever on course, forever loved and inspired." As he was placed on the pedestal of pure marble and glorious white color, he forms to stone and embraces his own inspiration, as his name becomes engraved on the stone in the gravefield, Edgar Allan Poe.

Top 10 Most Badass Women in Gaming...

$

0

There are a small count of good and powerful female characters that actually catch on to be known. A lot of the greats don't even need to be mentioned since they are just the best of the bests. That said, I count down the ten most badass women in gaming! (Note: this is not based on sexual appearance and/or sexual appeal)

10. Tomb Raider, Aka Lara Croft

She is an obvious pick in this category, but she deserves the pick of this list because of her 2013 reboot. I mean, who can resist a woman that can handle a bow so well? I mean really well, she can make a guy lose his balls in one pull of that bow. Besides that, she can handle herself with a horde of crazed men and leave with only a slightly ripped tank top and her entire body covered in their blood. I dare you to ask her out on a date!

9. Jill Valentine

She is basically the female Chris in Resident Evil! She stood against hordes of zombies and took down two Nemesis bosses! Who can top that? Besides that she is one of the most acrobatic characters in the game next to Ada (Which won't appear on the list, Sorry), and knows her way around almost any gun she can find. With her special training, who can take with a bruised face? Oh wait..

8. Alyx

What is the first thing when you hear the word "Survivor?" A man up in the snowy mountains trying to live is life as a woodsmen? A guy that lives in a Zombie-Infested world? Well, if you thought of those things, then you couldn't get that word in a perfect sentence. Alyx is a Survivor and she has been living in places that could have gotten anybody killed on the first day, but somehow she has faced the odds head-on and never looked back after defeating them.

7. Jack

What is more unexpected than a female villain? Well, she can be one of the first you may witness, but she is a criminal that has committed multiple crimes of murder and attacks on Sheperd and his group. She can become a companion later in Mass Effect 2, but she still appears as a villain. An awesome one at that. Imagine seeing a woman holding a rifle with tattoos covering her entire body, ready to shoot you without a second thought.

6. Elizabeth

What do you call a woman that has world-shifting powers, a sense to dodge bullets, knows her way around any type of weaponry, and is badass? You guessed it! It's Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite! Somehow, people saw her as a helper in the main game, sense she mostly just stood there getting you ammo and money while you fought almost everyone you met. This was obviously changed in Burial at Sea where you get to play as her and kicked almost every guy's ass in the process. Oh, and just a little note...

Never...

Make her...

Angry...

Ever...

5. Bayoneta

She is one to argue over whether or not she is just sexy or just weird, but we can all say that a woman that can take down Angels and Demons at the same time while dancing is pretty amazing. And don't get me started on how her hair is also a weapon, too. Actually, don't let me get started on that at all. I mean who wants to know that it's her clothes as well?

Anyways, she continuously kills angels and demons left and right with four pistols, two held in her hands (Obviously), and two attached to her shoes. No wonder she likes to dance while in a fight!

4. Samus Aran

As if it wasn't obvious enough, Samas has marked the hearts of the young players of the late 80's and early 90's. Once we heard a woman was Samus Aran, people freaked and thought this was a big step on characters in games. As we watch it now, we can see how much of a step this took with such little surprise to new players today got that revealed to them in the game. She is basically the mark of awesomeness in female gaming protagonists.

3. Meryl

One of the best MGS characters is Meryl and is one of the first females to ever appear as a badass in the game. She has taken out assassins and even helped the infamous Solid Snake in his missions. I mean besides her polygonal figure in Metal Gear, she has been one of the most beautiful characters yet. I mean some might argue that Quiet is more than Meryl, but I think there is something else that makes her beautiful besides her face.

2. Elena Fisher

In a game that is basically a Tomb Raider clone, the game has it's fun with it's own characters. Elena is one of the best characters in the game and has the best romance with the protagonist, Nathan Drake. She can aid you in the game and in one cutscene, she empties the room with a freaking Gatling Mini-Gun! A freaking Mini-Gun!! Is she even the strong enough to lift it? Bro, does she even lift?

***Now for Some Honorable Mentions***

Ada Wong

One of the greats, but not one of the well know of the RE games. Although, she had her own campaign in Resident Evil 6, but wasn't in the right game to be loved and adored as much as Jill. This just my opinion, though.

Faith

Also one of the best characters, but with such a dull personality. I bet she is more different in the newest game, but I haven't played it, so because of a personal opinion and how her character was, she didn't quite make the list, but deserves a mention.

FemShep

She is one of the best characters in Mass Effect, but based on her personality, she is based on your decisions and actions, so she is basically a puppet to the player, but deserves this mention.

***And Now for Our Number 1***

1. Ellie

Name a small girl teenager that can take down a man twice her size. Ellie is the meaning of Teenage wrath and she can take anyone down with just a pocket knife. Without her being the gender politics of today's female character, she actually is the help for  the player when in a tight place. And to add to that, once Joel gets injured badly, Ellie takes care of him and hunts for food and protect herself on her own. Well, if that wasn't female pride, I don't know what to call an awesome gal!

Welp... That's it! I hope you enjoyed this little list. Before I go, who did I miss? Is there anyone that is better than the women on this list? You can tell me, but I'm busy taking a selfie with a pal...

And 'til next time...

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Late Review 5/10 (Can Be Fun at Times)

$

Before you guys start to rage in the comments before reading my reasons why I don't like it, I love RPG's. I truly do! It's one of my prefered games for me and my friends. Although, this is my first Dragon Age game of the series, I still had a lot of experience on some of the controls (Notice the word "Some" in there). Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to another game review!

In the game, you start with a mysterious journey into the main character's mind and how he is in all this mess. You have a dream of escaping death and hoping to grab the hand of a god-like female figure which helped you escape this dream. You have this mark on you hand from escaping that dream that is slowly killing you, and somehow the key to closing demon portals.

Now, we don't know if they are called demons, I mean the game's lore says they're "Demon-Like with a mysterious name." It said that the people who face them call them "The Dark Ones" which is cool and each of their designs are very interesting and creative! I mean, I'll give some credit there, I thought it was very cool to see them in battle besides a feral dog or bandit in other games like this. But that's all besides the point, the game had some problems that made me mad and plain disappointed, such as the controls.

"But the game was fine with controls and commands, you're just a troll!" is what some of you super fans might have said while reading this! I know, the controls were are laid out fine and very organized, but that was the problem! "Now you're being a troll, StarterPack!" Wait! I'm not done, the controls were very organized and all, but there were to many to actually count! You had two ways of playing the game, either classic Gauntlet top-down, or MMO-style 3rd Person perspective, but there was a series of buttons to press to do so! You can switch characters other than the one you made from you party, but the button scheme followed by the Top-Down view setting was just too much to take in on the first tutorial! "You Scrub! You just can't handle the gameplay is all!" Now hold on! I love games with complicated gameplay, it's just there is too much to know all at once and most are actually like a combo list for Street Fighter!

What is that symbol!? What is this, a kick? Which button is light punch? How to you do that!!?

I mean, you need a powerful mind to know all that! In order to access the map, you must press pause and access the properties shown in the pause menu. Once selected, press A to access storage. Once there, press and hold RT and preform Down Right Punch to enter you pouch. Once in pouch, dance in front of the Kinect sensor and wait until the light flashes green to access the map. Now to fast travel, first you...

OKAY MOVING ON!!!

The characters were one thing, the game had you meet characters like Varric or Cassandra in the beginning of the game, but most were greater than others. Some characters were bland and others were just emotionless. I mean, my most hated character was Solas. "Hey, StarterPack! You're crossing the line here!" I know! He is one of the fan favorites in the game, but god! I hate it how he just has mixed feeling about everything! Are you a friend or a god damn Spy, Solas? Choose! And smile for once you blank faced emo!

Besides the characters, the game had a decent story, most of it was constant side quests and traveling, but some of it was fun to explore and discover. "Looks like you're coming around, StarterPack..." I'm not done, common super fan. "Oh No!" And this is one of the things in the game, most of it is constant. You have to go fight this guy! You need to clear the village of raiders! The game is basically making you do the same thing over again making the game less fun and mostly used as a time consumer. "Now you're getting on my nerves, StarterPack!" Well, you're gonna have to get use to it, bra! "You dank f**ker!"

Besides all that, the game has great lore and background. The demons are awesome and the way the game looks is so cool. The game might be a downer for me, but this doesn't mean the game doesn't look good.

And this doesn't mean I hate this genre of gaming. I love to play games like Dark Souls, Skyrim, Diablo and even Fallen Empire. This game just do justice for me. I'm sure the game is a hit, but this is just my opinion. I hope I didn't hit you super fanboys too hard on this...

"Can I Name Three Ways You Hurt Me?"

Yes you can! Tell me in the comment section if I hurt in any way! And if you got any actual judgement on proving to me that this game is better than I see it, then I will friend automatically, but 'til next time...

Top 10 Games with Awful Difficulty...

$
0
0

Games have gotten easy over the years and most don't really require our full attention, but these games will mark your life as a hardcore gamer and look at life with new eyes. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top ten games that have awful difficulty.

10. Doom I & II - Nightmare

Imagine Demons with fast fireballs, zombies with accurate aim and every enemy and demon carry extra damage boosts. Sounds hard, huh? I bet you're saying "I CAN DO THAT!! I CAN DO IT WITH MY EYES CLOSE!!" Well you better have the ammo since the ones you killed respawn. Yep! It is what's described as Dark Souls' older brother. It even tells you that this setting is not even fair! At least the devs warned you.

9. Ghouls and Ghosts

Oh, Ghouls and Ghosts! I played this when I was little. Man, I cried so many times playing it. As an arcade game that was made to eat all your quarters, this game marked, well not so much marked, but scarred our minds with the name itself! As the game went to consoles, everyone saw new graphics, but same difficulty. We always get the armor when we start, but always lose it after the 5th enemy that strolls by!

8. Strider

A team of five awesome developers and two programmers made the game what would make the every kid's childhood... And soon crush it! Yes, the infamous game that seemed like a Ninja Gaiden game, was one of the worst time consumers of the late 80's and early 90's of the NES age. Every boss and enemy faced by the player could stop him/her on his/her tracks on ever finishing the game. This is an example on why we finish games.

7. Castlevania

Although the game has been going downhill and any chance on another game is no longer on the table, the game's original entry still has it's moments and can strike even the oldest of players very hard. Just imagine how hard Ornstein and Smough and multiply that by two with all the bosses in the game Not a good image, huh? Still a fun game, though. The game's weapons had a purpose and very good system of when you should use it. And sometimes, the good time to use it is so fast, it can be easily missed.

6. Mega Man Classic

Of course this game is on this list! The game, at the time, was in an age of gaming that was not known, so a concept of a game was so odd and sometime just uncomfortable to play. Most devs didn't even knew what made a game good, so many people tried to find it and get it right for the people interested in it. Out of that age came this game, know as one of the classics and highlights of the NES games,

The game was partially based on trial and error, having the playing learn from his/her mistakes and have the player try to learn the layout of the game. So, most of the time, you just die over and over.

5. Bloodborne

Yes, one of the hardest game of today is on this list. Expect more! Anyways, the game was to show what Dark Souls 2 left out and, by the looks of it, they left out a lot! The bosses were one thing, but the game's enemies to get to them were such a challenge. You could run by them, but most of the time they just wack you before you can say goodbye!

4. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!

Yet another Coin Muncher places it's name on this list! Although, the game was made on a cabinet, this one was built down to fit the NES for the people at home for the time. The game was easy with Glass Joe, but after all the beginner titles passed, the game made you memorize patterns and moves the fighter made, so you could defend against it the next time he throws it.This meant a lot of blood and sweat had to hit the floor before you laid a punch on you opponent.

3. Ninja Gaiden

A game with the worst and most memorable hawks, the game has set the record for hardest game in the world, but has been beaten in it since, but still, to this day, the game has player throw their controllers to the wall! You thought the first level was hard? Well, Look Over There!

"What's Up!"

Not even a guide could help you on this terrible and so great adventure...

2. Dark Souls

The game that was titled The Merciless, the game that was called the Pro Trainer and The Noob Crusher, the game was given to us as a tribute to games with actual difficulty and a great representation of fear of death. The game was the bane of dying and made leveling up such a burden! Who knew Bandai Namco and From Software would create such a game that would deprive us from our souls!

1. Super C

People have beaten the game Contra so many times and someone even beat the entire game without getting hit or taking damage. Well, Super C, Contra's sequel that made it look childish, was the game that barely any have beaten. Some have called this game unbeatable and most have it's impossible with its surprises and constant enemies.

What game was hard? What game was the worst in difficulty? Which game made you feel like this?

Well, you can tell me, but as usual...

Top 10 Best Fighters...

$

There are so many fighters to count and most of them can be unknown to most of the players out there! Well, we are going to name all the best out there and make sure we have all of them rounded up to be praised for their great skill. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top tn best fighters in games! There are a few rules in this list, though. Superheroes such as Spiderman or Wolverine from the Marvel Vs. Capcom game won't be on this list.

10. Zangief

A man of the Soviet honor, he wrestles the best and makes sure his moves aren't fake like what his fans say it is. He fought men like Ryu, Vega and even the mighty M. Bison and won with respect and honor. With his mighty body structure, he can take falls, punches, and super natural powers and still stand without a scratch on him. And with his massive arms and hands, he manages to grab his opponent and throw him to the ground. I dare anyone to fight him! How 'bout you Little Mac!?

9. Mai

Like what you see? Well, you better pay attention because she's going to land a kick on your face! A trained ninja in proper ninja clothing, she fights men twice her size and twice her power and still have a fair advantage on them. Even if her opponent had an advantage her own personal gift can distract them as they either try to look away from it or get a better look at them. And what ever you do, don't talk about them or you'll get a fist full of fire shoved in your face.

8. Jin Kazama

A man with a literal demon inside him, he fights his way to victory as his foes try to tame the evil within him. Men fear to fight him as men such as Master Mishimi or Bryan try to tame his fury. His punches land a power of a jet plain and his kicks are faster than Chun-Li's helicopter kick. I'm surprised then people he fight still squirm after they're down.

7. Kyo Kusanagi

In a world filled with people that have supernatural powers, you can expect a man that can control fire and combust it in midair without any gases or fuel. He enters the KoF tournament to fight for the money and glory and that's all he cares about in this world. He fights almost everyone and beats them. Even his rival, Iori, a man with the same power as his. I can imagine the property damage they could put on the place around them.

6. Dhalsim

A man that wishes to make peace with everything and be one with all, the goal that every buddhist wishes to accomplish to escape the Wheel of Reincarnation. This man can separate his spirit to a different location to teleport, breathe fire with the air in his lungs like a dragon and stretch his limbs to a far length to reach his opponent. I can guess this guy give massive hug if he wanted to. Just don't get into a fight with him.

5. Terry Bogard

A man with tons to do with the family he's got, he fights for the glory and pride of his family name. Seen as a teenage joke, the fighter beat the living crap out of those who wants to fight for his title as The Wild Wolf. Terry's punches are so massive that the force can travel up to 12 feet, his kicks are so powerful, it can lift him in the air and his quake ground pound land so much of a hit, they can know down a cyborg.

4.  Chun-Li

She is one of the most iconic characters in the Street FIghter franchise, even her legs are seen as stereotype of this game. A policewoman that wishes to keep those who destroy the law don't destroy families like what happened to her's. She longs for full peace and jail those who wish to fight her or anyone else. She can rapidly kick someone out of reality, push her energy out as a projectile and spin her legs to float a few feet above the ground to land a powerful kick.

3. Raven

This guy looks awfully familiar, right? A guy that could be a half-vampire that hunts other vampires? Does that ring any bells? No? Okay, anyways, this man with sunglasses fights men and women who oppose him in battle with silence. Almost nobody has heard him speak or mutter a little bit of sound when fighting him or meeting him. A fearless man that strikes massive fear in the eyes of his opponents as he stands silently in front of him. If I were you, I would just purpose a truce with him.

2. Leona Heidern

A woman in the P.F. Task Force Team that exterminates all terrorists who wish to conquer or destroy major cities. She is one of the top operatives in the Task Force and is rarely called upon unless the rest of the task force has trouble resolving the problem. A woman that rarely uses a gun or grenade, she utilizes the knife and her sword skill to defeat her foes. If she's pushed to her limits, she can use her rage to destroy almost anything and destroy a Metal Gear in one shot! I dare you to fight her!

***Now for Some Honorable Mentions***

Ken

A man too cocky to even focus on the fight, I was thinking on putting him on the list, but seemed to much of a cocky character to be put on this list. This is just my opinion, though. Also, his new skin is just terrible

Scorpion

Seemed too much of an obvious pick to me, but he's too cool to not be mentioned on this list.

***And Now For Our Number 1***

1. Ryu

This is a cool guy, I mean when he just turns and lets his bandana just flow in the wind is just so awesome! You just wanna be him! Anyways, he is a man with honor and kindness and only wishes to fight those better than him to be the strongest fighter out there and is glad to fight those who wish to best him. With the most respect, he honors his opponent and sures to have strong bond with them. A bit odd for a fighter, but it's cool how he gives respect to those he fight instead of just taunt constantly at them. He can punch a rock into two, perform a tornado spin kick in midair and push his energy out into a concentrated blast of willpower. He has fought the almighty Akuma, fought all the world's fighters and won and even fought his evil spirit. Can someone tell me who else can do this?

Well, that's it! What fighters do you think should have been on this list? I bet there is a lot out there I missed that could some of these guys out of the water. Let me know in the comments and 'til next time...

The Story of Jeramy, Part Two

$

0

Author's Note: it's been awhile since I wrote this, but I managed to put it together. It took me a while and I'm sorry for the long delay and lack of activity, but hope you enjoy this story that me and a few friends worked on.

The father was shocked to hear such news, his son will be owned by an shriveled, old with the most money he could barter with. The carriage that the father was taken in was cramped, like the other he was stuck in. The thought of losing his son lingered in his mind, making the carriage ride seem to be years long.

A wheat farm. They arrive to their new life home and job, at a wheat farm. To claim the crops, wash them and deliver it to whatever bakery that buy it. The owner's maids came to the carriage to greet their new partners. The looks on their faces were of fear and a look a worry. The male Joraal walked out of the cramped carriage they were hauled in as their owner showed himself out of his beautiful house. "All thirty two of you are mine, you are to obey my words and heed them like so," the old man said. "Those of you that do not heed my words will have terrible actions done to you." The old man whipped his hand in the air as two of his guards carries a bare chested woman with bruises and blood marked on her skin. "She is but and example of what is to come." The Joraal started to seem scared. The father still had the same thought in mind. "She as stole food from us to feed her and the children she hid from the rest of us." All the maids looked away from her as her tears started stream down her scarred chest. "Her punishment is the pain of the gods, her loss of the remaining children and a lifetime of shame. We've whipped her, beaten, and the last thing we must do is to remind her of the shame." Two of his guards came to the woman with a bucket of cold water and a branding tool.

"Please, I've been reminded enough of my mistake!" the woman cried. "I do not deserve such pain for a petty crime!" One of the guards slapped her as she weeped those words. It was... Interesting to watch. What a man can do to punish a person of such a small theft, and for a good cause.

"Shut up, you wench!" the guard with the brand shouted. He ripped his glove from his left hand as flames grew from his finger. The Joraal have never seen such a thing. Most gasped as others shivered in fear. He held the brand on his hand until it was a bright red.

"I am sorry, Nancy, but this has to been done to cleanse yourself from whatever sins you try to commit in the future." The old man began to hide a smile on his face as his guards placed the branding tool on the right side of her face. I looked inside the mind of the old man and so nothing, but dark thoughts and a deep hole where his soul must me. No wander a man such as him would inflicted such pain on a poor soul such as her, a woman with three children, wanting nothing, but to take care of them.

The woman's screams engulfed the minds of the Joraal men they see three more carriages on their way towards the plantation. "You see the pain she endures, Khajas?" the old man asked. "Know that this could happen to you as well, but only worse."

The father almost couldn't bare this new lifestyle. Tears began to trickle down the fur on his face. He tried to look up, but he didn't want to have to see the face of this monster. Once he did he saw one of the maids place his child on his arms. The sheer angry he felt was so large, I didn't need to look through his mind to feel it. He ran towards the old man to steal back his son, but his single power could't take on the strength his two guards had. The guard with the branding tool grabbed the father's face with his flaming hand and scorched half his face and destroyed the vision in his right eye. The guard pushes him to the ground as he writhes in pain and says "Don't touch Mr. Higgans."

The guard put on his glove to cover his flaming hand and picked the father up by the arm and dragged him into an empty bunker for him to stay in until nightfall. "You see what you people are? Animals!" the old man shouted. "This is what to come to you people and be ensured that this is your last warning."

I could see the sadness in him. Khal`En was his name. How could I not remember? He was the interesting part of this entire story, yet the most tragic. I looked into his mind and found thoughts of his wife, Jera`Es. He started to balling his arms. I began to watch him as time lapsed for a moment.

It began to rain. The bunker started to fill with water as he sat in the corner. As soon as nightfall hit, the rain filled the bunker all the way to his neck as he sat in the same corner, think about his wife and son.

A sudden knock sounds near the latch in the bunker. The same guard who put him there thought it was time to set him out. "Khaja! It's time for your release!"  He got up from the large the pond in the bunker and got out cold and wet. Shivering, his muscles seemed to be sore and worn. The guard placed a towel over him as he lead him towards a shack with clothes for him to change in. As he dried himself, he was give a full set of clothes: Cloth legs, a tunic and tattered cloth shoes. "Thank you," Khal`En said to the guard. He saw faith in this species he was taken by. Someone that could show kindness to him.

"You deserve the wound, Khaja," the guard said as he gave a cold stare at Khal`En. "We are not friends and neither is anyone else in this plantation. I am only doing this because I was told to."

The guard left as Khal`En's faith was destroyed by this human. He was thinking on giving up in life and end this nightmare. He walked outside of the shack, into the rain and heard an infant's cry. He looked towards where it sounded and found his son in a cradle behind an opened window. He walked towards the window and saw his son crying. It looked as if he looking into a mirror of his emotions.

He put his hand inside to comfort his son. He placed his hand on his chest and rubbed it gently. He began to sing a song in his native tongue, a song that his father sang to him when he felt sad or alone. His son's cries silenced as Khal`En began to smile. He took his hand off his son's chest and place it against his cheek. His son's smile began to reflect onto him as he began to fall asleep.

As he smile he heard a door open inside the room his son was in and saw a maid. She came to check on his son, but instead found the father doing that for her. She smile and placed her finger on her lips. Khal`En did the same thing and left to a cabin where he can sleep.

The Legends of Team Fortress 2

Back in in the early 2000's, multiplayer was large and widely recommended to those who love to compete. Gaming was strange back then: we mostly got games of strange stories, bloody, mindless shooters with a small plot and games that took history into virtual reality. Although gaming was big and just a modern classic now, it still was seen as an open opportunity for new genres of games. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this brief history in the famously known game, TF2.

Online-Multiplayer gaming was a thing in the short span of a decade of the early 2000's, but was ignored mostly because of the new idea and how most wouldn't match the greatness of Quake 3's Arena style format. The only successors to make it bigger than it was, were game like Timesplitters that took the Couch Gaming of Golden Eye to an online perspective. Doom 3's made amends to it's younger brother's Arena style. And the only one that stood out from the rest was Team Fortress, a game that had nothing to offer, but a simple task to defend/capture as you choose a class of 9 characters.

The game had the same style as it's great grandfather, Quake, had. You guessed it, Arena style battles, but the gameplay was switched. SInce the release of the first Medal of Honor, the game made a new way to play: team-based. It was new and was some of the more prefered way to play: fight the opposite side and win. Although, the game had objectives: Capture the Flag, Cap the Point, King of the Hill. Although the game a classic mode that became the most played was the Team Death Match, which (as you may already know) has you kill the other team with no second thought or reason.

Surprisingly, the game's engine ran on the original Half-Life engine. Since then, the engine used was expanded and became the core engine that almost every FPS game used. Call of Duty uses it today, but only modified. Some would even go as far to say that Team Fortress Classic was the reason for the famous shooter, Counter Strike, which was made by two teenage developers designed and re-programmed the engine. Although, almost with the same player models, they made and designed their own weapons to be featured in the game that the military forces used during terrorist extraction.

The game skyrocketed as many other modders and home devs started to design their own personal maps around the very game. This got the full attention of Valve's directors and producers. Since the two devs used the engine without permission, if they ever got caught, they would be arrested and get legal charges put against them. Instead, they were impressed and asked to sell the game to Valve. Since then, the game has gotten better and better as game graphically, gamplay wise, and even in popularity. As time went, a new game was asked for, Team Fortress 2.

In 2007, the game was released and had over 40 thousand players actively playing. The game was great, but lackluster. Something was missing that most players couldn't stand to miss. Although, the gameplay was fun, but seemed to be the same, with only amped up graphics and in a different style. Most didn't know, but most of the classes were claimed to be boring. The engineer stood in the same spot with his turrets standing watch as he sees the players get out of spawn as they pursue the action ahead. Within a few months, the game had a timer, something forced the players to quickly fight for their object before time runs out. Something completely changed the game and made the engineer a more fun time for a troll.

As a year of playing the game past, there was an update that changed the classes completely. Better graphics and player models, a grunt and voice to the player's character, and even added this all up with a Meet the Team trailers to explain what they did and who they were as a character. This expanded the lore and story of the game, which spanned three comic book series of the game to talk more about who these characters were without having to animate it or to say it in the game.

Along with the vast character development, this raised more fandom of the game, drawing over thousands of players to play it for the first time along with the thousands who already played it. Since the cinematic update, the game had a hilarious charm to it that made the game so rare and fun.

The War Update, was something that expanded the game's atmosphere and community interactions, which had the player choose a side, either the Demoman or the Soldier. There was a reason for the pick, since it was a short comic series that began with the two being friends, but forced to fight for lies told by their bosses about how one thought the other was stupid, or the Soldier is not a real soldier. If you would like to read it, it's called War!, a comic that has a funny dramatic scene with some story behind each line. It's actually a fun read and has an interesting artstyle.

Anyways, this made the community vote for either side. As the last hour of the update struck, the votes were tallied and had the Soldier win, having a new item for him to be released, the Gun Boots.

The game was such a success, it has been played from the start to now, but as the industry of gaming came to be more and more independent with their work, a clone was released that would blow TF2 out of the water. Overwatch

Don't worry, I am not going to saying bad about the two, but will make some argument here and there. The game exploded into a massive cultural thing. The game was announced by Blizzard back in late 2014 and was long awaited game since then. As it released early this year, the game blew TF2 out of the water as we knew it. The game's were similar, but not quite. There were ultimates and abilities that were used with a single press of a button. TF2 had abilities, but they were more of a talent than an ability. Although, the two games had their differences, TF2 was still being left in the closet like our old SNES and Karate Kid costume.

The game is still being played today as we know it, with a small amount of players gone, the game is still being destroyed. As most fan would expect, Valve would try to find a way to beat Overwatch back, but instead, the game was left alone with a new, but exposing update called Meet Your Match, which came to unlocked a competitive mode. Sounded like a big step, but was something that most players would come to hate in the game. The update's release made a large hole for hackers and cheaters to crawl through to jinx players or expose them to be hacked or banned. The set up made players confused and had problems of server crashes or not being able to play Casual. It seemed as if they were beating themselves up instead of their competitor. Since the recent update, the game has been getting more and more hate from it's players, making the game heading towards it's end.

What do you think of Overwatch? Do you play it more than TF2 or did you not play TF2 at all or heard of it until now? You can tell me in the comments, but as usual...

KoF 14 Demo: Spicey Boi Fever!

KoF is one of the best fighting games out there and still to this day, it gets praise from almost everyone who plays it. The game utilizes the Combo System very well, the selection of characters are very vast and the entire game is a bundle a fun for the most Amateur of players. The art design is so beautiful and pleasing to look at as well. Once a new entry to the game would come out soon this year, players were excited and couldn't wait get their hands on it. Then, the demo came out to the public with a small roster of players, but was given to us at the worst state. Hell Wandering Traveler and welcome to this Demo Review!

What I would like to talk about is the character we are given and the rest we are able to be teased by. Although, the character selection is very small for the large cast we are presented in the past games, the selection is very small and not very nostalgic. Most of the characters seen are new and/or changed to an unbelievable appeal. The classics, like Kyo, Iori, Ryo and his sister Yuri, are still there, but the rest are fresh characters we haven't seen. Although, Ramon is back, but his strange partner, King of Dinosaurs, kind of makes a bland, but strange Mexican member to be in such a team. I wonder what they're saying about the country? And just a little thing I'd like to mention, Daimon Goro's eyes are still sealed. Why? Why not just a little but open? I mean, he hasn't seen anything 1997!

The characters' transition to 3D was a big step for SNK, making some characters seem very unrecognizable. Iori (Aka Emo Guy) is similar to the original while his rival, Kyo (Aka Spicy Boi), looks like your typical Teenage pretty boy in an anime. Some of the woman look great, but the eye's size seems a bit drastic. The eyes on Mai look too large compared to the 2D version.

The new characters are a bit strange and seem to be following a different source than KoF. Let me show you, Sylvie Paula Paula, Aka Pastel Cancer, Aka Kawaii Barf. This is one character that seems to disturb me and is a reason to cringe. I mean, you can say she can be one of those typical Anime Lovers that cosplay as the weirdest characters you can imagine. She plays fairly. Her combos are hard to time, but are can be done. I don't suggest her, but she plays good.

This "character" is a Mexican wrestler, but it can be hard to tell whether or not he's human or not. I mean, the eyes on his mask moves as if they were his own and he can move the move up and down as if he was breathing, so is it a mask? And interesting character, but unnecessary none the least. He plays very easy and has combos that can be done by almost any player. He can be good use for new players.

Nelson is one of those "Off the Source" characters I was talking about. He seems like the kind of Balrog character. He plays like Balrog. And he has a robot arm. A bit off topic, but seems like he could be cheating or voiding the rules. He plays easy, but his combos are hard to execute. I suggest playing him if you are quick to learning and can execute a move quickly.

This is Shun'Ei, Aka Beats by Drae. I don't know much about him. Most of his origin isn't even said in any website I looked at. He has some weird red and blew hands that pop up in some of his moves, besides that, this is the only thing I know about him.

He plays easy, but hard to master most of his moves. Some are kind of strange and most are just mind-f*cks. He would be played by an experienced player, but even then you need to be more mastered on most of the characters to get his moves right.

The stages selected in the demo are pretty nice. They have their own style and unique charm to them. Neo Esaka is a place of massive tech and very bright. From the last one, it seems 20 years have past and the city larger since the last time we've been there.

The Derelict Church is a new stage from what I see. It's an abandoned, broken down church with no one to spectate your fights. I guess this was a lazy attempt on a stage since the background has no animation to it, but bouncing church chairs and a crumbling ceiling. There is no crowd to explain the excitement about the KoF tournament or the fight in general. The laziest stage in my opinion.

Guanajuato Dynamite Ring is a stage with the most emotion. A Wrestling ring in the middle of a town with tons of people watching you fight. Although, the people don't seem like character in background from KoF. They are usually wacky and cartoonish. France stage in KoF 13 had fat women screaming and excited to see the fight in an outdoor restaurant. This stage has normal people watching. I would like to see some Mariachi band in there and plays the theme of the stage, with some Day of the Dead Skull Costumes and parade sculptures and people screaming in the background with a mild look on their face. This kind of lets me down. The stages had so much emotion in them and the people in the city stages felt like they were filled a stage audience. I hope to see more in the future that are either nostalgic or awesomely filled with something new.

Now to move away from the looks and style, let's go into how this game plays! I can see that a keyboard would be more suitable for the game since the controls are a bit janky. When you try to jump forward, it sometimes doesn't read it correctly and makes you look like a jumping idiot in front of your friends. The control scheme is hard to perform at times. And sometimes the buttons don't register a punch or kick. Sometimes the easiest characters are hard to use with this janky control system. I know this is a demo, but this is suppose to show us what the game will be like. If the game is like this, then I wouldn't buy it. And seeing the control schemes are stiff as hell, I hope they loosen it up in the final release.

Overall, the game is good. Not a great game, but I might buy it. I still hope SNK has a big surprise for us in the future in this game after promoting it in their Metal Slug Defence, KoF 13 update, and the rest still out there. Tell me what you think. Was there anything you liked? Something you thought would make the game a flop? Or maybe the other way around? You can tell me in the comments if you want! And if you didn't know, my sister helped me with this review and coming up with the subtitle. I hope you like and 'til next time...

My Worst Moments in Gaming

$

I have a lot of moments that I hated while playing a game I liked. These are personal and physical stories, but aren't going to be rants on games the people hated or even I hated. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to these small stories that happened to me in gaming.

A lot of people have freezing problems, but back in the day of low poly graphics, it was a fear to common to face. Well, everyone had it very differently, especially on the PS2. My friend had her PS2 crash every time she played more than 2 hours. That's very short when you look it. My cousin's froze every time he saved more than 4 times. Me? Well, I had it worse. My PS2 was a used gift from my uncle saying he didn't use it much. What he didn't know was that he generated awful load times and froze every time the logo popped in too fast! It wasn't his fault he didn't know it happened.

When I played Shadow of the Colossus when I was little, I had the best experience with it: the Colossi, the landscape, an the story stuck to me like a desperate girlfriend wanting a hug. One time, I loaded it up and it took about an hour to actually get the it started. I start to play and as the game went to a cutscene to show of the new Colossus, it froze in mid-frame of the reveal. The made this rowing sound that would just freak you out if you heard it and since we had the game on a powerful stereo, the sound was shouted at us, peircing ours ears. We had to turn it off and back on again (The classic way to fix your game), but that was to reveal something bad. The game's files were erased and everything else with it. About 3 days of progress gone along with 2 years of gameplay wasted. And in that moment, my dad and I hated Shadow of the Colossus for that reason. Now, we come to love it since we got to finish it on our PS4, but back then, we switch to Xbox because of that.

GameStop employees are awesome, they like their job and like to interact with their costumers in like as if they were friends, give some reasonable discounts just because they like the game you're buying, dress up for a big release on pre-order night, and even tell a good review on the game you're buying. It's hard to find someone with a bad attitude from where I live, but there is one point that I met the rare d*uchebag employee that hated on you just because they saw you.

This wasn't too long ago, maybe a year ago or a few months ago, I don't know. The guy was an old man with a thick Commissioner Gordon mustache that hated games for some reason. He never said it, but I could see it his eyes when he looked at the people browsing the games. One day, it was just me and my friend which is currently in over 17 to buy a rated M game that went to go buy a few games for my friend's younger brother. I think it was Dying Light or something? I think it was Advanced Warfare... I don't know, it was a game. When I found the game, I went to the counter and said "I'll  be buying this, please!" and he pulled down his huge glasses and looked at me. He said "You don't look 17 and up," It said it like he read the rating labels hundreds of time to know who can buy these.

I tried to tell him that my friend is buy it for me, but he kept saying I'm not suppose to buy the game. He started to get red faced and looked like he was going to explode. I tried to calm him down by saying "Wow, man! You're getting angry over nothing. I'm not buying it, my friend is," but he shouted "Don't you interrupt me, you little ***!"

My friend steps in and tells him to calm down and let me speak. Instead of cooperating, he just ran in the back of the store as the other employees were trying to apologize for what happened and gave us a discount on the game we were buying. My friend gives the game to me and tells me to wrap it. As soon as I get into the car, my dad tells me "I just got an email saying you're banned for a week... Care to explain?" I was surprised to hear that since he hardly did anything wrong. I asked my dad "What for? Does it say?" He tells me for harassing staff and attempt of theft. I thought they told you personally as a sign of offense, but somehow the old man banned me.

I talked to the manager of the store and we had a polite talk about lifting the ban. He told me he had this happen many times before this and had to let him go. My ban was lifted and was given a small sorry gift from him, which was a code for a month of gold membership. And this was all for a rated game...

Another worst moment was a while back. I had Dark Souls 2 on the 360 and found out how to play online with that game. I had slow internet at the time, but it was enough to play online without too much lag (This is important to the plot!). I had some trouble with a boss in Dark Souls and asked for some help on Twitter. Only one person said they would help. I gave him my server code and found him near the boss. He came with the Praise the Sun gesture and I greeted him with the same gesture. I went through the fog and began the first blow on the boss while my partner agro'd him.

We were almost there to beating him and this was such a moment for me. He was the boss that kept me for 5 days straight that felt like years! I was about to land the final blow as I see my partner stand there. My blow didn't land a hit on him, the sword only phase through him. Then, the boss just stood there as well as he faced my partner. The next thing I notice is the caption on the top screen saying "Server Disconnected" and had me go to the Main Menu! I was glad I was alone at home because I screamed and cried for almost a full half-hour. If you haven't played Dark Souls, you don't how it feels to lose in that game.

Well, those are my stories! What happened to you that was the worst in gaming? You can tell me, but as usual...

The Love in Elder Scrolls Vs The Love in Fallout

$

0

Games like to reflect on reality and how it maybe represented to you. Games from Bioware give a great example of representing life. The hardships, the friendships and most importantly, Love. Their love representation are very happy and moving, making fan favorite/loveable characters dateable. Most games tried to replicate this just as Bioware did, but somewhat didn't hit the mark that Bioware did. The games that really wanted this to be done was Fallout and Elder Scrolls from today. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this thought blog.

The first thing I'd like to talk about is Elder Scrolls' version of love. The game didn't have marriage as far as I know, until Skyrim. Although, this game seemed like a test of how they would make marriage in future games of either the same title or separate titles since it had little to know reason to love this character you want to marry.

The reason were mostly: because he/she was pretty, because they seemed to be good fit for the player, or because everyone else was didn't notice you. Why couldn't Senpai notice me? Anyways, if you didn't know, this isn't how marriage works. You can earn someone's trust and take care of a person, but that doesn't mean instant marriage. And to add to this, most of the characters didn't have a personality. Most of the time, all you know about them was that you beat them in a fist fight for 200 gold. The characters weren't very alive. They had a role in the game as an NPC, but little to no character development was shown to most of the characters.

Serana, on the other hand, was the only character I could name that had the most character development and was titled the most interesting and most married character in the game. She had a back story, a personality and a reason to like her other than her beauty. She despised her father's actions, she loves and misses her mother, she wishes to be normal and wants to be cured from her vampiric curse. All that was know from beginning to end of the DLC, Dawnguard. You can actually cure her curse, resolve her problems with her father and reunite her with her mother in the Soul Cairn and marry her. Probably the most dynamic character development in the game, by far.

Fallout has done this back in Fallout 2, making the game to be the first game have same sex marriage. Although, it was ignored at the time, because people at the time still thought it was weird thing to think about or do. But the game didn't explore some character development on most characters, leaving the player to rely on looks and attitude.

In Fallout 4's reveal, the game introduced something I'd like to call Buddy development. SInce the people you could hire for a companion had real distinct personalities, you could relate to almost any of them. You could understand the troubles of Nick while you either destroy the wastes with Maccready or rebuild it with Piper.

Fallout explored how knowing your love, making it more of an interactive thing. You can disappoint them and you can impress them. And if you didn't want to love this character and only want to be friends, the game set only one dialogue option as a love interest. Having the character love you in certain way is something very hard to perfect, that seemed only Bioware could accomplish. Although, the dialogue options can be a downer when talking to them, but at least they made love or friendship a major goal for the player.

This is all I have to say, but what do you think about the love interest in both games? Were they sloppy on their delivery? Or were they more dynamic than other games in the past? You can tell me in the comments, but as usual...

Being the Sniper on VR

$

After seeing Jacksepticeye's video, SKYDIVE SNIPER | The Last Sniper VR (HTC Vive Virtual Reality), it came to me that there could be a new type of genre for VR. It has been done in many ways, shapes and forms, but not at a realistic standpoint. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this thought blog!

It has been clear in many games, movies and even historical stories that Snipers are very brave in their profession. Although, it's a very dangerous job to accomplish to be entitled Badass Grampa. In many recorded wars, Snipers are the bane of the other side of the battlefield. They were the first target to attack since they can take out so many soldiers in a short length of time. Many snipers in WWII are dead since they were the primary target in battle and very few could tell their tale of bravery.

And to the standpoint of a video game, the position of sniper could be chose by anyone without a risk of death or the traumatic events to follow. SInce games, such as TF2, CoD, and even Unreal have made a terrifying name of the Sniper and made the famous line in gaming happen.

Games have brought this class of Sniper to a whole knew meaning and it seems to be the most skillful. And since VR has today's gaming to a new experimental state, Sniping may have a new name after VR.

The Last Sniper is the most realistic and the only one with a WWII theme. An old theme in a game, but it harkens to the war instead of the game itself. You are a dropped soldier in the middle of WWII and you are the only Sniper to bring hell on the Nazi scum.

In Jack's video, he states that the game is realistic. For what he witnesses in the game, he is almost right. The game has a lot of Ups, but some big Downs. One, that I noticed, was the repetitive enemies and with the same objective: kill any and all enemies in sight.

The game has one thing missing to make the game a bit better in my opinion, which was another sniper. No, I don't mean another player by your side. I mean an enemy sniper. An enemy that would have you think more about cover than the enemy putting you there.

Back in the Trench Wars of WWI, it was a big game of Who-Shoots-First. Soldiers on either sides have made tactics and gadgets to fool the other sniper. Mannequin heads with a helmet on a stick was on the bests out there. They even made a makeshift version of the fake head with their helmet on the butt of their guns. It was always a battle of trickery and foolery, just to expose the other for a clear shot.

A good example (to me) is Call of Duty World at War. The part where you enter the eyes of a Soviet Resistance Soldier, training behind the backs of the Nazi hordes. He tells you to find and kill your target, don't underestimate them, and don't be fooled by them. Although, this would have been a great moment to improve the AI to be more difficult on that point, they still made a good scene of a real battle between two Snipers, using the same tactics as the soldiers of the war and the same skills to kill the most wanted enemy in the battlefield.

This is what would have made The Last Sniper better. The stage where you are at a rooftop with Nazis overwatching the area, would have been a great moment to use those tactics. And instead of using the Helmet fool, you could use one of those rocks to throw up and fool the enemy and go in for the kill. Instead, you are met with the same thing: kill any and all enemies in sight. No new enemies, no new tactic, just do the same thing you did last mission. This doesn't make the game bad, just limits the replayablity. And this really matters for a game.

If any of you guys and gals out there are experimenting with the VR capabilities and thinking of making a Sniper Simulator, I suggest you do this with the game. And any of you guys and gals out there played this game? And how many of you out there own a Vive? You can tell me in the comments! And 'til next time...

Top 10 Games that Need to be Redone...

$

0

When I say this, I don't mean a remaster or a remake of the game, I mean a sequel that would reclaim the original glory of the original. The game's reason why the game was good in the first place. From games that should be doen right, to games that really need to get a polish, this top 10 games that really need to be redone.

10. Sonic

A lot of people know that Sega's Sonic franchise is a sorry excuse for a money grab and most of the time, the game was either rushed or had the least amount of effort put into them. The first and third games were the the only games that seemed fun enough to jump back to, but somehow the games now have crashed into the ground and stayed there.

Someone with somewhat of an interest in Sonic to bring back a good game. Something the NES kids can be jealous about. From what we got in today's gaming, there could be anything else that could make Sonic Boom or Sonic 06 be a past time.

9. Metroid Prime and Original Trilogy.

After being forced to play Federation Force and the Metroid 2 Remake being pulled from the Markets, the game has been declared dead for a long time. The game has a great fandom that would love to have a new Metroid in stalk. The chances being a very low outcome, the creators from Nintendo has ignored anything from the fans that suggest a sequel or a remake. Seriously, the prime series was a great hit and a great game, Nintendo. Why don't you guys make another one? Why not another classic version of the Metroidvania game? It doesn't have to be Metroid, it could be an original title!

8. Metal Slug

Almost every gamer has heard of this game, and most have actually played it. What everyone can see is that the newer games are a bit lacking. The difficulty is there, but the game's awesome and unique levels weren't there. They seemed to be inspired by previous levels and not much thought was put into them. The secrets are now scarce and the game is shorter than it use to be. They still had the 6 levels like all the others, but we so short and easy to pass by without killing anything, that it felt like it was a different game or a poor spin-off. Please, SNK, we need a true game to the series!

7. Battlefront

After EA's attempt of recreating Star Wars Battlefront games, people were longing for a true successor of the Battlefront story and gameplay. They took place in both trilogies and respected each of them with lots of love. What happened with the EA's version of the game was that they tried to make it look good with a bit a good gameplay that lasts for 4 days and had the game be apart of the 4th-6th  episodes of the series. The game was beautiful with it's glorious graphics, but the game didn't hold up very well. And the EA scandal where in order for you to get all the original buffs in the game, you had to buy the 50 dollar season pass along with what little and meaningless content that is provided with it. After EA's failure of a long lasting game, we all hope that they turn around in the next Star Wars themed game.

6. Condemned

The game that made the bravest men skin crawl has been dead since 2010 and has never been looked at again. The game is still a great game, I'm just asking for a another one! Although, the first one was the best, I still want another one that follows the same formula as the last two. I mean, just imagine this game with today's graphics and newest engines! And the scares that could be created with the monsters and insane individuals that would have been made by the best artists out there.

5. Mega Man

The robotic guy with the iconic jump animation; who doesn't know this character? The games were great, challenging, and most of all, memorable! A game that is called by many, the best of the NES era, hasn't had a proper sequel since the late 90's. We got Mighty No. 9, but that game wasn't Mega Man. The game has the best level design, the best enemies, and the greatest stage select. Only if we could get that game back.

4. Silent Hill

We all know that game that made us stare intently in the dark for anything strange and that one game is Silent Hill. A game that may never see the light because of Konami's betrayal, but the small glimpse of light we saw from Silent Hills, it gave us what we might have wanted from the game: an eerie feeling while playing, a mysterious and interesting plot and a memorable character to play as. What we didn't was the real game itself. I know Konami isn't going to make a Silent Hill without Kojima, but at least give the rights to him and give us what was intended.

3. Portal

Almost all the fellow puzzle solvers loved Portal's physics based gameplay and puzzles, but of course we want more of it. Those who finished the game in a matter of weeks, wanted some more puzzles to jump around in and experiment to be done. We know Valve pretty well, and we know they can be pretty lazy. Since they don't make games and focusing more on the Steam sales, a chance for a 3 is a long since dead dream. But the other thing we know about them is that they can surprise us. Let's hope they got something hidden under their sleeve.

2. Quake

This is the game that offered a new genre of gaming and helped create a new platform of gaming that hardly anyone could get right. This is the granddaddy of 3D gaming and the owner of the Engines in other famous FPS's. The game had it's ups and downs, but after 4's strange Single Player experience, we were held with a line of what proper to say about it. The game wasn't as good as the others in Single Player experience and the Multiplayer was very lacking in original concept. After seeing what we are getting from the new Quake Champions, we might have an ultimate return of the game's legendary gameplay.

1. Halo

We all could see why this is here. After Halo 5 (The CoD clone. Yes I went there), we got some kind of poor excuse of a game. The game had a story-lacking campaign and based itself on Multiplayer content. The game was not meant for just Multiplayer, the story mattered, too! And the game not having a splitscreen Co-op in it was a poor choice. I mean, Halo is know for the Couch-Plays! It created the term, Couch-Playing! 343, just please, go for the source material this time!

What do you think of the list? What game needs to be redone in your opinion? And besides that, what do think Quake Champions is going to be like? Is it going to be the best multiplayer? Do you think it's going to be another TF2 clone with Overwatch elements? You can tell me in the comments, but as usual...
