I Miss You, Games...

I miss you guys. The games that gave me what I loved, adventure, stories, even some sad times. I will miss you for as long as I can remember you. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to another Community Writing Challenge!

There are a lot of games I miss. I do love them, but I think I said that too much lately. Anyways, There are a few games I would miss for the days I will still walk the Earth. I mean for instance, The Last of Us is one of the best games I will miss. I hear there are rumors about a second one, but I know that is unlikely, but possible.

Naughty Dog is an awesome story teller, and I can see that with this and Uncharted. The game, if you haven't played it, will give you the best emotional ride of your life, with a side of fungal infested zombies. Ellie and Joel are one of the best and most memorable characters of gaming kind, and he beats Lee and Clementine out of the water. Since we've been with them from start to finish, we always hope that they don't die or get shot by raiders.

As you may see, I love emotional rides, and none can beat the choice oriented game The Walking Dead. This game was announced to be over after Season 2, and many almost wanted them change that decision. Although, I haven't played the second season, but knowing that's it's over after that, I don't think I can hold myself to bare it! I really love the Telltale Walking Dead game that marked my story-loving life! Good thing they reconsidered by giving us the story of Michonne.

Another, I would have to say, would have to be Chrono Trigger. I mean, the game is so awesome! I couldn't believe how choice heavy it was. And it was the first to perfect that mechanic that barely any would try to accomplish.

Since it's fan success, it's been a fan favorite for all players of JRPG's, but the game's financial success was very low. People didn't buy it as much, even though the game now has been through some remasters, but the game success during launch was so poor, it destroyed any chance for a sequel. At least we have the Anime... Right?

This game is a hidden Gem and it has been since it's release. The game kind of had a Banjo-Kazooie feel while the game was Zelda-esk style game. It was my childhood game. I still have fun memories of the game and how much it gave me. Saddly, the game was over after it's 4th or 5th installment. Since then, the Ty wasn't throwing boomerangs anymore. I wish this game was remastered or was backwards compatible for the PS4, just so I can feel the nostalgia again.

Anyways, thanks for reading! What game do you miss? I just know it's Uncharted. You guys must be crying over it right now. Well, I hope you feel better soon, and 'til next time...

The End is Nearing to a close...
A Crater in His Soul...
Will Only go Deeper...

A ship wanders outside, hovering a little above the Benco ship owned by the infamous Psycho.  It Circle as if it was a voltaire waiting for it's prey's demise. Psycho, Tel nor Xavier cared about this or even noticed. Xavier notices Jell's broken emotions. Blood surrounded the floor around her. Such a small room, he could see that a lot has happened in this small room.

Xavier stares at Psycho's smiling face as he stand with open arms. WIth anger, Xavier strikes him with full force. The blank face Psycho had was terrifying in his eyes. Xavier looked down, there was no blood. He was shocked. He looked back at Psycho's face, and his smile was burned into his face.

Xavier pulls his pistol out and places it against Psycho's nose. His smile was still there. He fires the pistol. It was a decoy. A robotic decoy. A quake began to shake the room. The walls started of the room started to slowly fall downward. The captain's deck was revealed.

"We finally meet, Xavier!" he says in excitement. "Did you like our decoy?" Zackary was hidden behind him, covered in darkness. His eyes were the only thing that revealed his presence.

"What have you done to Jell and Shey?" he shouted.

"Oh. Those two." he said to himself. "I had jaelen chained for the better. Shey?" he suddenly stopped his speech. A made a gesture to his men. They bring Night Crawler out as she was unconscious.

"What the hell did you do to her?" He asked.

"I was trying to break them. Make them unable to fight. It was successful since Jaelen and obviously Shey can't stand nor have the strength to hurt me or interrupt our mingling."

"I will f*cking kill you, Nicholas!"

Psycho pulls out a plasma pistol and fires at Tel's knee. Silas' eye began to turn to a bright orange. He grabbed him before his body hit the floor. Silas has a hard stare at Psycho and sprint towards him. Before he could get to him, Zackary's possessed body removed Silas' leg with is long sword.

"Don't call me that." he said in a sinister voice. "You had left me on that god damn planet alone. You left me there while I had no one to look for. The Kira-Kora was once belonged to a man of weak strength. I had to kill his family in front of him and destroy his soul before he died."

Xavier's eyes grew in anger. "Nicholas! I know you. We've been fighting for years! Why? Why do you want to kill me so badly? Take it on me, not the people around us!"

"You don't understand." He said quietly. "You left me on the most devastating moment of my life. I had be alone when my parents were killed. Before they had to leave my life." his smile began to fade. "I had enough of you. Zackary! Kill him!"

Zackary's head turns to Xavier and charges at him with his sword. Xavier quickly dodges. Xavier pulls out his Lancing blade and strikes him towards the leg. He blocks it before Xavier can notice. Zackary pushes Xavier down and stabs his only human hand. Psycho notices this. He smiles but confused. "How did his hand heal so fast?" He thought back when Xavier was planted to the wallby the Bloodseekers. He turns to Jell with anger. "What did you give him?"

"What are you talking about?" Psycho grabs her hair and pulls up.

"What did you do to him!?" he shouts.

"We gave him Night Crawler's blood."

"What's in her blood? Nano-Bots? What!?" he drops her head as he lets go of her hair. "No. She's a..." He looks to the battle as Xavier's resisting Zackary's might. "KIll him! Kill him quickly! Now!!" Zackary listens and pulls his fist up and prepare to land a blow on him. Before he could he pulls his pinned hand downwards, escaping from the sword's clutches. He kicks him away before Zackary could land his blow.

Zackary got back up and lunged towards him with his sword. Xavier blocks it, he pulls out his pistol and fires at Zackary. He blocks the bullets, but some managed to hit his face plate. Psycho began to get angrier. "What are you doing! Kill the god damn b*stard!" Xavier began to get advantage of Zackary. He beats him with his lancing blade and fires multiple times to his face plate.

"Why are you losing!" he said as Xavier pinned him to the ground. Anger started to cover Xavier's spirit. Once he pinned Zackary down, he began to beat him repeatedly in the head. Once he was out, Xavier pulled out the glowing core on his chest. Once he did, he wanted to see his face.

"Z-List?" he gasped. "You did this to him. What the hell did you to Exber?"

"Death." Zackary began to return to consciousness. His eyes were no longer glowing.

"What happened?" Zackary's voice gave Xavier a pleasing wave of relief.

"I can't believe you're alive." A large boom sounded and the entire room was filled with it's echo. Xavier looks down to Zackary's chest and finds a bullet hole.xavier looks up to Psycho and finds him with a plasma pistol in his hands pointing down towards him.

"I missed," he said quietly. "I meant to kill you." he jumps down form his high and mighty ledge and looks Xavier dead in the eye and says, "I wanted to kill you anyways."

The End we Spoke of...
It is Almost Here...
Your Enjoyment Feeds us.

A pistol pointed at Xavier's face, holding his friend's body as he tries to think of a way to prevent his own demise. "You have to be such an idiot to be still alive." he said in a quiet voice. "You were always like that. Aeris was a hard place to live in, but you never chose death to be your fate." He faced his pistol down. "You always chose the route I would never. You know I looked up to you. Everything you did, I tried to follow. When you left..." Xavier got back up and back away slowly. "When you left, I didn't know what to do."

Tel, with his left leg burnt off, he tries to reach for a pistol on  the floor. Psycho kept talking, allowing Tel and Silas to get themselves back up to use. "You need to stop, Psycho. We keep fighting and fighting, and for what? To kill me? This is all done for. We need to turn you in. They will help you"

Silas was repairing his leg in a corner, while Tel was crawling towards  a pistol to get his counter on Psycho before he starts to pay attention. "No. They won't do that. I know the federation. They torture us. They try to make sure they beat the wicked out of us." Tel, in an alarming embrace, he grabs the pistol. He has this chance of triumph. His chance of saving the team.

"But like I said, I wanted you kill you myself anyway."  Psycho pulls out his blade and points his pistol at Tel with the gun in his hand. He fires. The bullet dug into Tel's robotic head. As is body hit the floor, Xavier trembled as Silas' eye turned black. Xavier's mind grew of anger once again. His anger was so hot, the only thing he could see from his actions was his grunt.

His sight being blurred with a white smoke. His body is being taken over by some strange force. In the white mist, he sees two familiar figures walk towards him, one tall and the other hunched.

"You again? I thought I told you to not mess with my fish stick!" The tall figure shouts it out with an Irish accent.

"I told you not to shout that out, brother," the hunched one says in a deep-voiced British accent. "Now, why are you here protagonist?"

"What? Who are you?" he shouted.

"We met before. Remember that wrist blade?" Xavier takes a look at his hand and stares at the blade socket on top of the backhand of his wrist. "Now you remember!"

"Of course he did! The All-Maker himself gave him the instructions, Brother Bill!"

"I know, but he doesn't know that, Brother Sheogo."

"Can I ask who you guys are and why am I here?"

"Of course! You can ask away!"  he said excitedly.

"Don't be such a joker, Sheogo. You remember me, but you forgot my name? Well, then. Bunker Bill at your service," he gave a little bow towards Xavier. "This is my brother, Sheogo. He was..."

"I used to be miner!" Sheogo muffled a laugh.

"He was a broken aspect of the All-Maker's mind." He said quietly. "Now for where we are? We are in the All-Maker's lair! A holy place of wonder and grace."

Xavier began to think harder. He couldn't contemplate why he was here. Thought of him being dead started to fly in his head. "Am I..." he didn't want to let it out. "...Dead?"

"Dead!?" he said in confusion. "No. Your mindful friend, if you catch my drift, took control of your body."

"What!? No. This can't be happening. Tareen said he wouldn't do anything if I followed his deal."

"You should have resisted him, Xavier." Sheogo said in a loud tone. "He is a spirited demon who escaped the All-Maker's mind that caught you as his puppet. He only gave you this deal to drive you to his own power!" Sheogo said in a fast and exhausted voice.

"He is right, Protagonist."

"What can I do?"

"We have, but useless advise. You fate is in the All-Maker's hands." Xavier's vision began to get filled with white smoke as the images of his battle with Nicholas. His hands felt as if someone was guiding him as he started to get to his reality. As soon as the white smoke faded out of his vision, he was back in control.

Xavier's hands drop to his waste as Nicholas strikes his blade to Xavier's right shoulder. Xavier falls to the ground with pain surging to his right arm and chest. Nicholas places his blade to Xavier's neck as he struggles to withstand the pain. "You are finally in my hands!" he said. "What a pathetic way to lose. You were taking the advantage of me until you just gave up like that." Xavier blood fills the floor. "what are your last words? Words of peace? I know you don't have faith in god, but what would you say before you enter the skies or the burning grounds?"

Your Enjoyment Feeds Us.

A sword placed against Xavier's face, a painful wound crippling Xavier and a madman wanting to kill him is at his feet. Jell is watching in the her chair, lost in her mind, all say is Xavier's name. Her sanity was broken not too long ago, her being able to fight will be a miracle in Xavier's eyes.

"So? What are you going to say?" he said vigorously.

"I don't want it to end like this. Just... Please don't kill Jell or Shey. I don't want them to die."

"Oh! Good thing it's opposite day!" He screams in excitement. Two men enter the room. "You two! Grab the girl in the chair and bring her to me." The two men uncuff her from the chair and drag her by the hair to bring her to Nicholas. He grabs her by the arm and pull out her pistol and points it to her head. A blinding hate and fear began to rise in Xavier's soul and Jell's emotions began to show fear. He pulled the trigger and her blood hit Xavier's face. He screamed an everlasting no into the heavens. He body fell to the floor. In Xavier's eyes, it was a tragedy. To Nicholas, it was pleasure. The grin grin back on Nicholas's face.

Xavier tried to lunge an attack at Nicholas, but his blade punctured Xavier's right shoulder. It pushed through and exited out of his back, being pinned to the floor again. "Now, give me the other girl." Xavier was struggling to get out of the blade's embrace, but the pain prevented him from getting any closer to escape. "I want you to feel the same pain I felt before I kill you," he said in a sinister voice. "I want you to die along the memories of your friends' death." The men drag Shey's unconscious body across the room and place her at Nicholas's feet.

He grabs her by the hair and hold her by the neck. He places the pistol against her head and him a grew on his face. Time slowed for Xavier. Everything in his mind started to fade. The pain was gone in his shoulder. He managed to get out as quickly as he could the amount of time he had to save her was minimal.

A small quake hits the ship dramatically. It hits again, making Nicholas drop his pistol on the floor. It hits again leading to an explosion on the left wall. The explosion pushes Xavier and Nicholas holding Shey. A gaping hole is revealed on the side of the ship where Xavier and Nicholas are. A ship is hovering a little ways above the hole showing it clearly made it. The cockpit hanger door opens as a man jumps out of it and into the ship. Nicholas fires at him, but each bullet ricochets off him. Before Nicholas could react, a bullet pierced his chest and skull.

Xavier was frightened to see who this mysterious man was. His very presence haunts his soul as Tareen does. Once his appearance is shown, he is dressed in Federation armor and clothing. The code on his chest was stange. It was like as if it was a prison code, 314 it reads. He removes his helmet to reveal himself. "Ralph?" Xavier cried.

Xavier pulls out Nicholas's blade out of his shoulder and hugs him. He finally felt safe. He felt the embrace of home again. The warm and clean feeling he missed so much. "Yes, it's me. I'm going to take you somewhere nice, okay?" His deep voice soothed Xavier. His only friend back to save him.

A tear almost dropped from Xavier's face. He tried not to cry. He did make a bet with Ralph he would cry for months. "Is Shey okay, Xavier?"

"She is just unconscious," Silas limps toward them as Xavier still hug Ralph. "I checked her vitals just now."

"Then she's okay." He said softly.

"Yes, yes she is." A smile finally grew on Xavier's face. It has been almost 2 weeks and he hasn't smiled with the passion he had now. A warm feeling started to erupt in his stomach it was a soothing feeling. It grew to his chest and he felt his heart race. Then the pleasant feeling hit his head. It turned from warm to hot, making this pleasant feeling turn to pain. He looked down and finds blood is spilling out od his stomach. A compressed pistol was in Ralph's hands. Xavier took a look at Ralph's face and mouthed the words "Why you."

Xavier fell over on the floor, his head was filled with disbelief and sadness. A betrayal of his last friend. His blood was filling the floor once more, three tears fell from his eyes. His eyes began to see darkness as his soul began to fade. This was his end for him. He could not defy death once more.

Ralph put his helmet back on and shot Silas multiple times in the eye blinding him, he walked towards him and shut him down. He went back to the ship and left out of the planet's orbit. His comms start to ring. He answers with silence. "Pi, is the mission a success?" Ralph was in silence. His anger began to grow. "Pi, is the mission a success?"

"I command to be relieved from my duty."

"You don't deserve it yet." Ralph, in anger, closes the communication with the Admiral.

***

The room was white and a dark, grey-ish green. There was one window in the room revealing the beautiful spring day outside. A UV was standing next to a bed. Shey was laying in it. Her arm was in a purple cast and her eye was replaced with a robotic one. A few bruises on her face and leg, but she was still living. She gains consciousness and looks around the room. She doesn't realise she is in a hospital until she looked at what was attached to her arm.

A nurse walks in to bring her the medication to withstand the pain she took. "Where am I?" Shey says.

"You are in a Federation Medical Center, Shey. One of our agents brought you in."

"Do you know who it was?"

"Sorry, but that is classified to you."  She begins to leave the room, but Shey grabs her arm before she could.

"What about The Invaders?"

"I am sorry to tell you this, but they passed away during a mission." Shey began to shed a tear. She didn't want to cry.

Just outside of the medical center, is The Invader Memorial statue. Xavier was mounted as the savior of the team, and Jell as her encouragement. Ralph stood in front of the statue with flowers in his hand.

"I'm sorry." He said softly. "I didn't want to do this to you Xavier." he placed the flowers with the rest of the others on the memorial. "Why You. I don't know. Why me is the question I ask myself everyday." He reaches in his vest and pulls out a 9mm Pistol. "No need to grieve. You don't need to feel angry for me anymore." He pulls his arm up and places it against the side of his head. "I won't be coming your way, but at least I will relieve myself of my pain." He pulls the trigger. The sound of the gun enters the medical center to reveal his death to them.

So ends the story of The Invaders, the infamous team of the Federation. Their lives will be remembered. The Arch crystal is obtained by the Federation, leaving it back in captivity for someone to recapture for their own desire. The Admiral retires and leaves his position to whoever recieves it. Night Crawler produces some minor depression and is left with just a picture of Jaelen to remember her by. A tragic end indeed, but we all have to find one, even a tragic hero like Xavier.

Apart of Gaming...

We all have been apart of gaming somehow in someway and those of us that was either born with or raised with it, which is very touching to some of us when the devs give us something new and/or revolutionary. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to another Community Writing Challenge!

What I love is that gaming is taking more of a cinematic turn on us, trying to seem as meaningful as a movie we watch today or the movies decades ago. We all love the game's Telltale has given us like Wolf Among Us or Tales of the Borderlands, but there are more surprising ones that strike us with so much emotion, like Emily is Away or even Undertale, putting us in situations that would emotionally hurt us in real life, but in this virtual simulation, gives us a crying experience or a angry hatred.

I am glad games are going as far to try to make us cry or make us regret the things we chose. I think this type of gaming gets even farther as having us get even more involved with the characters to give us a more looks in the character's mindset and what he or she will want or need.

As the gaming history hits us harder and harder, gaming has changed very drastically in any classic genre. FPS's have changed very much and we see it now as a sport more than a game. There was some incidents where it was seen a murder simulator, but now it's called a pro-creator.

It just satisfies me to see that gaming has been called a sport with a large skil rangel than a couch game for your 12 year-old. It has even been featured in sports programs like ESPN and has been give a serious look since it's premiere on the channel. Even games considered simple, like Clash of Clans, are given a tournament of there own.

Remember when games were called childish? No child could play such a game with great strategy required. The Command and Conquer genre has marked gaming as the pillar of strategic thinking. Games before the genre had you think, but  relied more on luck than anything else.

Since the genre's creation, games wanted to become such a type, but in a different kind of game, since then, games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Serious Sam came to be. Then came the Card game genre, making it even more awesome! Sorry, I went out of my intelligence there.

Games have been advanced and the genres have been growing by the years, and we have been enjoying every bit of it. Everything may be too different to see it's greatness, but it satisfies me to see developers try there best to try new things and new devs creating some of those paths for them.

What about gaming makes you smile? What changes did you see make you wanna see more? Well, you can tell me, but I'll be busy watching this ultimate 3-man fight...

And 'til next time (And I mean it)...

You Blew it! - Everything Wrong with Family Couch Gaming...

$

The painful feeling when someone's watching you is just so unenduring. A lot of gamers have to deal with their games alone and handle their defeat alone. Notice how I said alone. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to another thought blog!

You know those friends and family members are when they watch you play, it's sometimes annoying. Your mom tells you to stop dying, you dad asks why you suck, your brother telling to do something else, your sister making fun of you while you die constantly, and your friends hide a chuckle as they watch the feud take place. If you are an adult that doesn't have to live you family anymore, then you probably don't know what I'm complaining about. Us young gamers (Yes, I went there) always face this, even if we try to plan an event to avoid the.

If you are a lucky teen, then you probably love Dark Souls, but hate it when you parents insist on watching you play it. Many players experience loud outbursts of "You Blew it!" or "You Almost Had Him!" as they play. And then, if it's possible with you family, comes the complaining. Parents say this game looks too hard and tries to convince you to sell it or tell you that the game has too OP enemies. Tip to the players, acquire more Estus Flasks before you play in front of your family.

If your mother and/or father doesn't know of the gore in the game genre, then they might have bought the game Mortal Kombat or other games without any second thought. Once you plop the disc in, your parents are at a distant gaze and you siblings are amazed of how much blood the human body can contain. You mom shields her eyes as you do a fatality or perform a headshot. Your father gasps as you fire on an enemy without a thought. And your siblings ask to play the game after witnessing what you had just done. Then, your parent prevent you from playing these types of games ever again. Tip to the players, your parents are sometimes sensitive.

Most people don't like to see you die constantly. Like I said last time, parents don't like to see you die, so I won't dig deep on that. What parents like to do most of the time is say you suck. Many would kid, but some would like to put it out there. Words like "You should try something different" and "Stop using that gun" continue to come up.

Other than your parents commanding you to try something new, you are told to play something else when they don't realize this is how most multiplayer matches start out like, death and despair. Most would ignore our parents commands on what we play, but who wants the power yelp our fathers give us and the screech out mothers tame us with?

Besides all that I explained, there are games that are for the family to watch, games with a wide story or a funny outlook on you terrible failure and excitement of success. Games made by Telltale Games are a good example to a good time with the family. And RPG's such as Skyrim or Fallout are great to experience with the family. And even a rage game like Super Meat Boy can give a good laugh to you parents as you scream and overreact. Don't deny it. You sometimes call Meat Boy a clumsy b*tch and blame your failure on him.

As many would say, family is where the heart can break and where it can be put together. And 'til next time...

Fallout 4: Far Harbor DLC Review

$

Dev Executive: Okay guys! How do we get people to love Fallout more than we already do?

Designer: Lets give them a robot build bench with a few side quests to get them hyped!

Co-Writer: How about a new set of building material to trap monsters in the waste and have the players create their own arena!

Dev Executive: These are all good ideas, but how do we give them the time of their lives?

Head Producer: How about a location DLC with lots of lore on the land and world, which would come with new weapons, armor and enemies?

Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this Far Harbor DLC review! Now before I get started, I haven't played much of the DLC, but I had a good impression of what this certain DLC contains, so  might have dipped my toe in the water, but I felt like I got dunked afterwards. Don't worry, I haven't explored the story missions, so no. There is no spoilers on the story mission on this DLC. Hope you enjoy!

Before I can tell you about the terrain of the land, I must talk of the beasts that tames it. There is the Gulper, which is a mutated deep sea carp that likes to swallow their prey whole. Although, I haven't seen them do that (Like I would ever want to see that), but many of the people who live in the area say they do so. To say how they are in combat, let's just say they aren't an easy target to hit, and even if they got hit, you still need pack another punch. And what makes it worse, they have projectile attacks. How fun!

Then there is the Angler, which looks like that fish from Nemo that tried to eat the main characters. Anyways, this enemy is one of the worst in the bunch of ghoulies, since the enemy can take loads of damage and can give a bigger punch than a rabid Yao Guai. And if you are wondering, no. You can't tame them. They are too vicious to be friendly. Neither are any of these creatures in this DLC. They're almost identical to the Gulper in terms of attack and how they move. They do the same dodging attacks and attacks with the same swing as a deathclaw. Sometimes the attack animations are different from each other, but the only difference is that one pact a bigger punch than the other. Which one? I'll let you find that out for yourself.

Okay, then this guy is a bit of a jumpscare, so this a warning to you guys that can't take some things. If you see the rear end of buss and think nothing of it, please reconsider. This thing will pop out at you in the most unlikely moment. And what makes it worse is that it's a gigantic hermit crab! I hate crabs and anything with so many legs!

And the last beast of the Fog, but not the least, is the dreaded Fog Crawler.

Now before say "What the f*ck is a Fog Crawler? Sounds small! Ha!" just know that's way bigger than you think. Remember those Chaurus creatures in Skyrim? Imagine them more like a mantis and 12 times bigger! Then you got the most hated (At the Moment) enemy in the DLC. This thing has more forms in appearance like the most common feature, the Radioactive or Glowing version which usually is a Legendary enemy. Before you say "I'm going to beat that thing into submission! I'm a level 150! I can take!" Last time I researched, this creepy f*cker can follow 3 times above your level all the way up to 250! And these guys don't mess around... It's the Drauger Overlords all over again!

There are others, like there are new skins on the ghouls and stronger ghouls with a large amount of health and/or damage. There is the Rad Rabbit, actual wolves that like to travel in packs, and I guess there is a theory of a new enemy called the Ghoul Whale, that travels through seas and large bodies of water. I don'r know, no one has found this "Ghoul Whale" yet!

Now onto something else! How 'bout the terrain? Oh, the terrain is just so beautiful! I know, I'm calling the most ugly terrains pretty, but there is so much realistic animations! The fog animations are just so cool-looking and the way the fog moves is just so well designed. And I love how the sun is reflecting off the fog like a giant ray of light! All I need to say about this is, Good Job Devs! You got my stamp of approval!

And the game design around the terrain is kind of rare in some ways. It's hard to name games with the same mechanic, but at night the terrain turns into this foggy landscape and most parts of the fog are radioactive having you to move away from it or face the creatures following the radioactive fog's current. And sometimes you need a light on at all times to make sure the things you run into isn't a mudcrab or ghoul. Wait... Are there mudcrabs in Fallout? That never really hit me.

Besides that, there has to be some talk on the water animations in this game! To make it short and not as stupid as it sounds, the water look beautiful, even in a sunset.

And the boat ride just makes you wanna drift in the sea's frightening beauty...

Sadly all that is gone when you arrive at  unsettling Far Harbor.

Before I start to get emotional, Let's talk about the weapons and armor. The weapons are new and are a step up to what you already have. Yes, it's a bit of a small new selection, but it's all something new and something to get use to. There is the Harpoon gun that fires a, you guessed it, a harpoon! And it packs a punch!

Then there is the Lever Action rifle, which basically lightly punches your enemy, unless you got a perk that helps you on that end. The gun is full equipped with it's very own specific ammunition, 45-70 Cal..

And there is an odd weapon called the Radium Rifle. It's basically like a submachine gun, but bigger with lots of upgrades. I know these might not be all of them, but it's all that I found in the game. If you find any others, please tell me and send a link to the picture of the weapon. I would love to see a lot more weapons of this game.

And then there is the armor. Again, I've only played a small bit of the game, so don't attack me. It's called the Marine Armor. It is said that it's better than the metal armor in the original product. And from what I hear, it can act like a rad suit and take radiation damage very good. If you know any more armor sets that you found, then please tell me and give a link of the picture.

Now let's get to the game's story setting. I know, that I said I wouldn't spoil anything about the story, but I barely played any of it. And if you still think I might have some spoilers, then don't read below this last statement in the paragraph

The first thing you're brought with is a common mission that seems a bit tedious at first, where you got to help this Asian married couple (Sorry if that offends you) to find their daughter that has been missing for a few days. As you search around for where she might have gone, this kid searching escalates pretty high. I won't give any spoils on how, because that would be rude, but to say, it involves a crazy conspiracy.

When you enter the unsettling darkness that is Far Harbor, you are immediately put into the action, which is a great example of what you might face out there. The small town of Far Harbor is attacked by Gulpers and Anglers and you are given the choice to help defend the towns people. Of course you are rewarded with some caps and given some lore of why they live there.

From what I got, the fog has been getting bigger and has been putting the locals in a survival state, causing them to lose more land to live on, people to trust and more radiation to consume. The fog contains the creatures we talked about and many have been since perished wandering in the fog. Those who manage to take on the beasts of the fog, most likely have been driven mad and became psychopathic murderers.

Most of the people in Far Harbor believe that the reasoning of this fog is because of the Children of the Atom making it their own. So (From what I got), I believe you are soon to be able to chose a faction to call home and your friend. And some of the synths managed to claim some land in the foggy landscape and became what is know as Acadia. I don't know much about them, but that's when I stopped playing.

There are a few bugs and glitches in the DLC that I have witnessed happen, but they are very common ones like stretched limbs and a squished face. Bethesda, please change that bug where people begin to squint and pucker their lips, because it seems very offensive on this guy...

I get that he's Asian! I don't want you to show me by giving me that! Although, they are minor, but you don't wanna offend some of the Asian players out there.

I know I had a small experience with the DLC, but I like it. The DLC expands the world and lore of the game, making things even more awesome. I would rate a 9/10 for a great time in the shortest amount of time I spent to play it. What do you think of the DLC? Is it good? Or is it bad? And did you find anything worth talking about? You can tell me, but OH GOD A DEATHCLAW!!!

Now before I end this, I just wanna tell you that this is my 100th blog posted. It's a giant mile stone and I just wanna thank you guys for reading the nonsense I write. Thanks for everything and as usual...

Top 10 Best Easter Eggs of Today's Games...

$

There are a lot of easter eggs today. In games now-a-days, it is a must for devs to put an easter egg to make the player laugh or ponder what they gave us. From easter eggs that made us laugh to easter eggs that brought a smile to our faces, Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top 10 easter eggs in today's games!

10. Vault-Tec in UAC Labs (Doom 4)

You are probably wondering where I found this easter egg. Well, all you gotta do is go to the very first level where you kill your first Gore Fountain. When you kill all the Imps to move on, the main vault-like door will slowly open (Shouldn't be new to you if you already played it). Before it opens, look at the bottom left of the door and you will see this easter egg to be left to wonder if Fallout and Doom are in the same universe or it's just the Devs having fun.

9. The Horde with Anubis (Overwatch)

Anubis - Murloc

There are lots of easter eggs in Overwatch, from familiar looking Arcade Cabinets to an "Alien" Ramon Noodle shop, but this one stands up from them all and they're all in front of our faces! In the Anubis map, you will find Horde symbols in the engravings of the temple. Most believe that in this world, the Horde found the Egyptians and showed them how to build their temples. But that's just a theory going around. But can someone explain where this came from...?

Anubis - Hydralisk

8. Zombie Koopas in Mushroom Kingdom (Dying Light)

I haven't found this easter egg myself, but when I found it in the web, many people thought this is one of the bests. To find this, you must go to the town and out of the slums. Once you do that, find a chimney on a high building and you will find a familiar green pipe poking out that you can interact with.

Once you enter the pipe, you will be entered into the first level of the first Super Mario. What makes this even more awesome is that they were allowed to use the Mario Theme in this easter egg! What they replaced with the Koopas were small models of the Zombies in Harran. What makes this even greater is that the zombies here die when you jump on their heads! What else can you do to make us older players laugh?

7. Where Everybody Knows Your Name (Fallout 4)

There are so many easter eggs in Fallout to name, but the one that made all the older players laugh and get nostalgia. If you go to the area where you fight the Swan Boat Super Mutant, go to one of the builds in that area and try to find a downstairs pub. You open a door and enter the cheers bar where you will find everyone from the original show as skeletons. Man, it's been a long while since my dad showed me the show. I need to watch it again.

6. Und Und! Ja Ja! (Wolfenstein: The New Order)

There are a lot of familiar stuff in this Wolfenstein game, but the one that caught main eyes was the album "Und Und! Ja Ja!" If you if you don't get it, it's a Beatles song turned German. Well, more like Nazi. Once you find you are allowed to listen to it, you are given a Beatles Parody song. I don't speak German, so if anyone knows what it means, please tell me.

5. I Use to be Doomguy Like You, but Then I Took an Arrow to the Knee (Doom 4)

Another Doom easter egg. This one is one of the best and more humorous one in the game. If you go to hell for the first time, you will find a small cave and a pillar in the middle of it. Once you find it, behind the pillar is a dead ancient corpse with a familiar helm and an iron arrow in his knee. I wonder what he was before he died...

4. Andrew Ryan is Rapture's Walt Disney (Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea)

Many people saw some similarities in Rapture's Owner, Andrew Ryan, with the happiest guy in the world, Walt Disney. People saw this statue in the game and thought of the iconic statue of Walt holding Mickey's hand. If you know the legends of Walt and his head being frozen and led to believe had the best technology, then you might have laughed at this and moved on.

3. Jaws (Fallout 4)

If you thought being in water was the key to being attacked by a shark, then you probably know probably didn't want to get back in virtual water when you saw this easter egg. This was a good laugh in my end, since I saw Jaws not too long ago.

2. DoomGuy Classic (Doom 4)

I've been making a lot of Doom entries on this list, but there are a lot of them that catch everyone's eyes. This one is hard to make happen, because it seems like you need to explode into bits to make this happen. If you play one of the classic levels and explode into bit, you might see the original Doomguy face in your helmet. It took me a while to make happen. Basically taking up half my day to do it. Tell me if you could it? How many times were you able to do it?

1. The Secret Levels (Homefront: The Revolution)

I use to play Time Splitters when I was little and when I found this easter egg in Homefront: The Revolution, I almost wanted to buy a Gamecube and/or Xbox just so I can buy this game. You activate this easter egg when you enter a bar. You ignore the objective and go upstairs to find an arcade cabinet. When you do so, you are allowed to play the first 2 levels of the original Demo of the game. Kind of sucks how this game is fun, but has many things wrong with it. I hope this game comes over.

What easter eggs did I miss? Are there ones that you hoped would be on this list? You can tell me, but 'til next time...

Hark! A Gamer's Voice is Crying!

Hark! A gamer's voice is crying! All will play this game with me! God, I love it when games are awesomely hyped and become the best of today's gaming. I know this might appear like a Christmas blog that came early, but your wrong. What this is about is how devs are starting to listen to us. Before, devs counted on what they thought, and most of the time, that didn't work so well. I mean, have you seen the Bionic Commando reboot? Fun mechanics, but even those kind of broke the game's fun! Fun, but not fun, is what I'm going for.

Anyways, devs are still looked at as money grabbers, but sometimes we just look at the games they developed and thought they earned this money. I know many of you critics are disagreeing with me, but if you look at it, gaming has been getting largely better than it was. Last gen was fun, but little promise. I mean there are games that are called the best of that gen, but what else can you name the best? Which hidden gem could you say this beats Gears of War? Which game? I think not!

This generation has it's ups and downs, but a lot of generation has those and this gen has O'so little of them that won't kill us completely. Great games are finally being published after years of small amounts of good games. Dying Light was the best game I played in years, and Dark Souls 3 is the game that make you cry! And most of those games were all sculpted the players. What I'm saying is that the Devs are listening finally! And they will take everything by heart and try to take what we love and mold it into something even greater. Our words are finally getting to the devs and I can't wait to see some of the bests do something we've all been waiting for! This is exciting me more than Dishonored 2's release, and I hope to see something revolutionary other than the VR.

What's even greater is that gamers such as you or I are allowed to create or own game to give concept to the devs of today and give something greater in this world of gaming, and acquire a new way to see gaming.  Many who have played the game Counter Strike might say the game was made by a great team of Devs from a big company, but you are completely wrong. It was made by a small group of people and worked on an already built engine from the first Half-Life. Since then, the game has gotten bigger and better looking than ever. And what makes this awesome is that it was made by modders that weren't paid to make it.

We are waiting for the next Counter Strike game to take place. Probably not the same type of game, but you get what I mean. Which game will take it's place as the best game made by a guy from Perris California? I would love to see that.

There are already games that are made by a small team that we call Indies, and I'm glad this community has grown that much. I just wanna see a lucky soul get the same treatment as a dev from Bethesda or From Software. And get praised for it. Besides that, the Indie games are becoming a look-up-to example for devs, a style search if you know what I mean. Game's like Portal and Journey are getting lots of attention for making a game of worth. A game that would be great for the people who buy it or play it.

Devs out there! If you are reading this, and I'm sure they are not, but if you are, I want you guys to keep this up. Keep this greatness with you and don't let go of it! I know you might need the money for your kids and family, but make that money well earned for you. This is all I have to say and sorry if you didn't like this. I just wanted to poor out this feeling. Thanks for reading and as usual...

Amnesia: Prologue

You come again. To what extent? I am finished! The Invaders are dead. There is no more to tell. But Gavin... I did not tell of him. He is fine. He was found by a peaceful planet of Aeris. Xavier's home. But do not worry more, all I ask is why are you asking for more? There is nothing else to tell! Night Crawler? You do not know much of her... Very well...

The federation is on alert. A planet was attacked and crushed by a race of leeches only here to kill for there bloodlust. The federation's dogfighters are sent to kill any leeches and find any surviving locals of the planet. In search, they find nothing but corpse. Ships that were to leave the planet are destroyed and left as debri in space. Escape pods from the ships were all popped open and clean from any living life.

"Why were assigned for this? It's nothing, but a graveyard, Echo. Over" One of the dogfighters wined.

"Clanker, you know why we're here. Those damn Darians are always out somewhere. Find them before they leave and start a new rampage. Over" The debri gets more and more dramatic. Bodies floating in space, bodies in halves and blood hitting the windshields of their Falcons.

An escape pod reveals itself and shows no sign of damage or entry. The leader of the dogfighters saw the pod and rushes to capture it for safety. A female life form is in it and two others dead life forms were in there. The team captures it and orders to bring it back to Federation HQ.

***

A briefing room is to house the life form. A small and strange room. There was no where to sit nor rest comfortably. The live form was sitting towards a corner with her arms around her knees facing a corner. A glass wall was behind her. To her a mirror, but on the other side a window. Two federation members stand in front of the glass, one being the dogfighter leader and biology scientist to identify the life form's race.

"How did you find her, Simmons?" the scientist asks.

"In an escape pod with two dead life forms. Why do you ask? I thought I told you, Kron," The dogfighter begins to ponder the life forms movement.

"It's just the life pod had an explosion on the right side of the pod. Which is surprising to see her alive since he seat was on that side."

"Really? Did she contain any damage?"

"Not very major ones. Just a few bruises and hits to the head. Which might explain the signs of Amnesia."

"Does she even know who she is?" The dogfighter watches as the life form shows a beaten tail appear from her rear.

"In matter of fact, no. I don't think she even know's what race she is."

"What is she?" He replies.

"She is a rare species by the name of Demong. A race of intelligent and tactical beings. They became endangered a few thousand years ago." He says. "No has seen them since that entitlement."

The door behind them opens. A large, cloaked man began to descend from the door. A smile was revealed under his official's hat. "Admiral?" The dogfighter stands from his seat and begins to salute him.

"At ease, fighter." he says with a smile. "And please, call me Silas."

"Sorry, sir. It's just we are shaken up by this life form."

"Don't call that anymore. And please tell me why." the biologist begins to take a deep breath.

"She is apart of an endangered race called the Demong, they are thousands of years old and can have the life span of three hundred years. We believe she is the last descendent of the Demong race and we have a chance to replicate her."

"What of the two other life forms?"

"One is in a state of Lazarus Reanimation. The other has no hope of living for she is too mutilated to bring back."

"She?" Silas asked.

"Yes. From our research, she was her mother."

"How sad. What of her. Is she alright?"

We believe so, but we don't know if she can speak." A small voice began to sound.

"Why don't I talk to her?" A teenage girl was standing beside the Admiral with a federation uniform on.

"Jaelen, I told you to stay in the training facility."

"But Papa Silas! I barely see you anymore! Just let me stay with for today." A smile starts to grow on the bearded face of the Admiral.

"Alright, but tomorrow, you will do double the training, okay?" Jaelen lets out a groan.

"Fine!" The scientist and the dogfighter looks towards the life form and see that she is facing the glass wall. "Let me talk to her!" She cries.

"Alright. We will let you talk to her. She doesn't have anything sickening on her, so go ahead."

Jaelen walks in the glass room and tries to talk to her. She is silent. No signs of attention were about her. She was still in the same position, sitting in a corner, hugging her legs with her face tucked in her arms. Jaelen grabbed her shoulder and asked her a question. "What is your name?"

Memories start to flood back in her mind, none were familiar, but one was clear.

"Ashley..."

Top 10 Hottest Characters in Gaming...

Before you guys start to rage in the comments, this isn't just going to be about woman. I will be filling in on both sides of the gender, male and female. And no, it won't be based on feature, more on the sexiness of the character him/herself. From women that make you wish she was your wife, to men that just take your breath away, Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top 10 sexiest characters in video games! Hope you enjoy!

10. Axton: The Commando (Borderlands 2)

Being the stereotypical action guy, he is Axton, the man that gets all the ladies wanting him. And it has been shown that most of the players that chose to play as him were 70% women. Go figure! Although, the devs were planning on give him a reply when he revives female characters to say "Let me help you cutey," or "That's a nice butt you have!" which had the devs rethinking about and made him say "Do you work out?" when you revive a male character, officially making him Bi. Who knew?

9. Garrus

Many players love Garrus for lots of reasons, because he's such a cute badass, because he's such a mysterious b*stard, or even just because he's so awesome with that gun of his. Well, what can you say that isn't sexy about him? He's just a hunk to the lady gamers.

8. Liara Mass Effect

Mostly, there is a character for everybody in this game, and one of them for everyone is Liara. Although, you want to go to Tier 15 with her, if you know what I mean, but she is one of the cutest and sexiest of the collection of characters in Mass Effect. But trust me, do go to Tier 15 with her. It's literal death for you...

7. Adult Link

As a child, people thought that his little elf ears were the cutest thing on the face of gaming when Wind Waker released. When he was introduced in other future games as an adult, many gasped how handsomely cute he was! Kind of odd to say that, but you can't blame them for thinking that!

6. Samus Aran

Since the time she was revealed as a female, people saw her as something else. No, don't think that! Since Metroid Prime, men thought it was hot to see her as a badass and many wives smacking their husband for wanting her. "Hey man, you should put a ring on that finger instead!" is what my mom would have said.

5. Cloud Strife

Well, for the women who love this guy, it's mostly because he looks like a J-Pop guy from their dreams. I mean what else can beat boyish charms? To answer that, nothing. I tried and failed in the worst way possible. Anyways, just any female fan of the saga, they will say that Cloud is either hot or something along those lines.

4. Anya (Gears of War trilogy)

Well, this is just another badass female that has all the men wanting to be Marcus that marries her. Although, before she became a badass, she was the person with the intel and gave info to the marines and C.O.G.s out there, meaning she was a desk lady. Good thing they changed her since most of the hate on the games was because they made her a stereotypical woman.

3. Kat (Halo Reach)

Kat attracted a lot of people. Since her death in Halo Reach, many fans and players who liked her or had any liking in her, their mouths have been dropped the second the bullet exit her head and still have their mouths left open today! We hope for the best for her in the after life... If there is one in Halo...

2. Leon Scott Kennedy

Imagine Cloud, but less silent. Since his appearance in Resident Evil 4 was a bit better than two sequels before, many women loved this guy and many would say he's a cockblocker when it comes to those gaming couples. Sorry guys, but this is just to cute to beat!

1. Dante

Ladies, say that you don't wanna scream for this guy. Even though, his model was suppose to be Leon and the game was suppose to be Resident Evil 4, but all the girls came to love him more than Leon because of his corky charm, funny remarks and his handle on those demons. Who knew a demon hunter would be so... Burning Hot!

Now that was it! It was kind of awkward to write all together, but if I do post this, I hope you liked and didn't think differently of me. Now that I'm finished, I can get some rest. And I hope you guys weren't drooling on them.

So 'til next time...

Amnesia: Council Dispute

$

The girl was identified and the other going through Lazarus Reanimation is confirmed to be her sister, Talya Takul. After trying to find their origin of life, they found nothing of their home, nor their life style. It was as if they were undercover. Both of the survivors we diagnosed with Amnesia and neither of them knew where they came from either.

The Federation's Council of Knights begins to debate on what to do with them. Some suggestions are cruel. Others are humane, but they do not know what to agree over.

"Councilor Variks, we talked about this," One said. They are in their council room, talking with Admiral Silas and Recruitment Officer, Matthew Dawninghue.

"We still haven't decided whether or not we will do so!"

"Variks, we are not those kind of people. We are a peace keeping government, not a cult of satanic killers. We will not send her back on the planet we found her." Councilor Ferris explained. The council began to argue in a loud outburst. The only one not speaking was Strikor.

“Silence!” he shouted as the council quietly stopped arguing. "We are discussing the right situation here. We must find out what we need to do with both of them. From what we have, we know nothing about her. And she knows nothing of herself as well, she practically doesn't have a life. We can make her a vegetable and research her species, leave her to a peaceful planet with little war and politics, or keep her as a DNA example and make clones of her for service purposes. What is our decision?" The entire council looked at each other as Councilor Strikor gave his word.  These were tough choices for the council. This was a living life form with a sentient mindset. What they do to the both of them will either mentally destroy them or offer a better life.

Admiral felt this was wrong. It was to inhumane. He began to think more peacefully on the matter.

"Why don't we recruit her, Councilors?" The council room turned their heads to him.

"What are you talking about, Silas?" Admiral clears his throat.

"Since the two know nothing of their past life nor they would ever yearn for their family if they have one"

"You mean own them?" Matthew said. "Like giving them home here in in our recruiting bases?"

"Even if you do mean such a thing, we would be going out of our rules! We need to know her skills, which we don't have! We are best giving her a new home." Council began to agree in a loud mirmir. Strikor silenced them again.

"Stop! You are both right." he said. "We do not know her past and we do not need the risks, but she does not know them either, and maybe it will be worth it." The council turned to the Admiral. "We trust in you, Admiral Silas. We are giving you the right to keep her in our grasp. Make sure she does not turn your back." Matthew put his hand over his shoulder and smiled at him. He whispered in his ear a compliment.

"You always seemed to be a good father."

***

Ashley was sitting next to her sister with her head resting on her shoulder. They were confused on where they were, but they somehow knew each other through the amnesia. Her sister seemed older than her, she was taller and looked to protect her. Their skin was the same color, no lighter, no darker, in a light purple shade. Her sister looked at Ashley's tail. The tip of it looked torn and beaten. When she saw hers, it was perfect. No curves, no scars, there was nothing wrong with it.

The air in the room came heavy, like as if it was something was wrong with the atmosphere. Talya felt it. She was worried. Ashley felt it as well. It felt like death to them. Not a feeling of the future, but more of a feeling of the past. They look to the door that exits the room as it quickly slid open. The Admiral came out of it.

"Sorry that you have to stay in this room in boredom," he said in a pleasant voice. "I see that you liked Jaelen, Ashley. And you haven't met her, Talya. Would you like to see her?" Jaelen started to peek out from the door. She seemed so shy. Talya spoke.

"We wouldn't mind meeting her." The Admiral began to gesture Jaelen on the room. Once she came out into the room, Ashley's head perked up. Their eyes met, but they quickly looked away.

"We were thinking..." the Admiral said. "We should let you join the federation."

"What is our choice? Join or die?" Talya said.

"We do not want to kill you, but the council is thinking of making you experiments to research your species, or they can clone you." Talya gasped. "Trust me, I do not want you have that happen to you, but I have no choice. So would you like to join the federation?" Talya shook her head in agreement as Jaelen brought her ukulele to play it for Ashley.

She played some Hawaiian songs her father showed her. Jaelan tried to play Over the Rainbow, but she couldn't get the strings right. Ashley's memories began to flood back in her head, her mother played it for her as a lullaby. Ashley asked for the Ukulele and began to play Over the Rainbow for her. She began to sing the song in a beautiful voice. The Admiral and Talya began to stare at Ashley playing the song. Talya shed a tear as she started to remember her mother.

Top 5 Worst Places to be...

There are a lot of places in gaming  are loved and remembered, but some are just the worst! And we all know those levels are what you need avoid for years! From levels that just want you to kill yourself, to levels that just make you quit before you do any more damage to your mental abilities. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this five worst places to be in gaming. Hope you enjoy!

5. Mario Water Levels

Who doesn't hate the Water Levels in Mario? It's just so uncomfortable. Those of you younger gamers that don't know about this, imagine the game was teaching you the mechanics of how to jump and bounce on a guy's head to kill them and all that was taken away in this one level. It's not fun! And it's the worst thing you want in Mario! All the things you knew were taken away and you were put into something completely new! Dark Souls is exceptional, but this is not the fun part in games!

4. Gerudo Valley (Zelda Ocarina of Time)

Every fan of the Zelda series knows the dreadful place of Gerudo Valley or Village... Which is it? Anyways, this is one of the first occurrences of the Gerudo level, but this one is the level to dread when playing through it. You caught by some Gerudo Guards that are a few feminist tough girls that seem like we shouldn't hate! Once you are caught, you try to escape, but you have to watch out for the guards again. Everytime you are found by a guard, you must start from where you left off and make sure you don't forget where every guard was. From what I found, most players had to play through this level for about 4 hours in a game that is suppose to be a 6 hour game!

3. Dead Center - Hotel (L4D2)

What is not good for a player? If you said disorientating sight, then you are right! When Left 4 Dead 2 released, the players faced a level with a large smog-like smoke in their eyes making the player confused on what to shoot at. And if you are a constant player of this game, then you might know that in the hotel, there is well over a truck load of zombies waiting to eat you. The smoke mechanic had a minor glitch where it made the smoke too thick to see through and you mostly shot your teammates than the zombies themselves. They quickly patched that and it's no longer there, but increased the number of zombies spawned in the level. How nice of you Valve. I'll stick with G-Mod, thank you...

2. The Abandoned Mall (Condemned: Criminal Origins)

We all hated the mannequins in the game, but when we entered that mall, we had to chase shadows most of the time. Most players loved this level, but most of the players with automatonophobia wanted to destroy every last mannequin in the place. The level introduced a new enemy that liked to pose as a mannequin and try to sneak up on you and kill you. Although it was easy to spot them, but still, we didn't want to look at them. Definitely not a place you want to be alone...

1. Anor Londo

Every player knows the dread of Anor Londo. An old level in the original Dark Souls which housed black knights and other powerful enemies you would rather run away from. Everyone that feared the worst in the game hated this level, but admired it's beautiful architecture.

We know that this was the level that housed the great Ornstein and Smough bosses that you wished you could have never met. Then, in Dark Souls 3, you enter the area again, which thankfully doesn't have Ornstein or Smough as the final boss. Just the Devourer of Gods... I should have rethought how hard this level was. To top that, this is the level to invade other players. With the place filled with black knights and giants, I don't think I could have the mental ability to bare an invader.

Well, those were the worst places to be in gaming! What is place you wish to never be again? Is there a level that would top any of these? Well, you can tell me, but as usual...

Amnesia: A Fighting Dream

Rapture fills the minds of the sisters, training side by side with each other, learning skills they have never heard of and techniques that would be impossible to learn alone. They have found their heaven. They have found the life that suits them. The Admiral watches them as they do warm-ups for their test. They were training how to do Jigoku for months, a martial arts technique that could break stone with a flick of finger. They trained for six years and seemed ready, but they needed to test their combat skills with their master to claim their finish.

Matthew enters the room and sits beside the Admiral. They both began to smile.

"Could you believe we thought these two were going to be threat?" Matthew said. The Admiral let out a peaceful sigh.

"The Council still believes they could be," he said in a soft toned voice. "They said that if I don't keep an eye on them, it may cost the lives in the federation or my position as Admiral."

"They don't see the fire in them that we see, Silas," he said. "They don't know anything about good recruits." Matthew started to chuckle. "Most of the members in the Council I recruited as fireteams and they were just as young as they were."  The Admiral looked down towards his feet while his smile faded.

"It's been six years, Matt," he said softly. "Six years. You would think they would trust me and these two, but they just see someone making a mistake waiting to happen." Matthew put his hand on his shoulder in comfort.

"Just wait until they get entered into a task force team, Silas." The Admiral looked back from the floor and watched the sisters warm-up again. "They took every proper training they need for the offer. Trust me, they will prove themselves."

The master walks into the training room, the sisters stop what they were doing and bow respectively to their master. The master bows as well. He points to the middle of the room where the fighting ring was. A large blue circle with two lines crossing each other in the middle of ring. Some smudges of blood marked the rubber fighting ring. It was time for them to fight.

"You both were trained very well," the master said. "You both are great students, but we shall see if the training was a success in combat." Jaelen came and sat in the closest bench. She wore fighting apparel with protective fighting gloves on that covered half of her forearm.

"You both with fight me at the same time," the master said. The sisters looked at each other surprised. "Why are you looking at each other like that, fight me!" He began to get in fighting stance. The sisters began to fight him. the master just standing there, dodged every hit and blow the sisters tried to deliver. The sisters were frustrated, every hit landed on the floor instead of on the master. He began to scream in his native tongue, "Tatakai!" He kept screaming the word. The master began to show anger, instead of dodging, he began to parry the attacks and staggering them in the process. He screamed it again. "Tatakai!"

Ashley began to circle the master slowly as Talya kept her stance. Ashley looked at him intensely, while her sister stayed her ground in front of their master. As soon as Ashley was to the master's right, Talya looked at her sister and winked at her. Ashley struck and missed, but left the master vulnerable. Talya saw the opportunity and struck at his back and knocked him down. Ashley held him down, but the master flinged her back. Talya struck him again, drop kicking him down again and Ashley pinned him to the floor as she punched him in the side as he tried to escape.

The master whipped  his hand on the floor calling a defeat. The sisters got off of the master and helped him back up. "You are impressive!" the master said. "That was a good strategy you did there, Ashley!" The sister both smiled. "You passed Talya. You earned it. But you Ashley." Ashley was afraid she might have failed. "This wasn't your test."

"Then what is my test, master?" Ashley said. The master pointed towards the bench on the other side of the room where Jaelen was sitting.

"Jaelen Hoster is your test." the master said. "Make me proud as did now." The master bowed to Jaelen and she bowed back. Jaelen is shocked and yet happy. The feeling of fun began to take over her mind. Ashley put out her hand to offer a handshake to Jaelen. Jaelen looked at the offer and smiled. She shook her hand vigorously and Jaelen's smile grew larger. She pulled up and threw Ashley over Jaelen's shoulder, starting the fight. Jaelen began to choke her while she pinned her on the ground. Her forearm covering Ashley's neck, she struggles to escape her grip. The air began to escape her lungs, and her blood started to fill her eyes. She tries to escape, but it was difficult for her to lift her arm. Ashley grabs Jaelen's arm and pulls her towards the floor. She escaped her grip. Jaelen got back up and got in ready stance. Ashley got up and got her breath back. She went into ready stance and prepared for any blow Jaelen might deliver.

Jaelen threw a kick, but Ashley dodged quickly. Jaelen was vulnerable, so she took the blow to her abdomen. She staggered, but wasn't down, she prepared the next blow and began an all out fight. Fists grazing faces, kicks crushing ribs, it almost looked as if it was a straight tie. Jaelen tried to break her guard, but Ashley was too defensive against her. Ashley began to feel the fight grow larger. She began to use techniques that would put a person to sleep. Ashley rampaged and began to push Jaelen's guard aside. Before Jaelen could react, Ashley grabbed her head and slammed it against her knee. She was down. Jaelen seemed to be out of her head.

The Admiral stood up in fear of her daughter. Once Jaelen felt her conscious linger back, she laughed. Ashley puts her hand out to pull her up. Jaelen grabbed her hand and pulled her towards herself. Jaelen grabbed her and while she fell towards her and kissed her. Jaelen looked at her and said, "You passed."

The 5 Spices That Create a Memorable Story in a Game...

Many have asked what makes a great game, and many haven't studied this well. We usually get games that never do well. People have wanted a memorable story in a game, and some really need this. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome how to make a good story in a game with these 5 spices.

5. The Friends and Foes

When I say friends and foes, I mean the characters in general. The characters in a story is obviously one of the core reason on why we love them and follow them in a story. Games seem to do this well now, but we still get a hint of bad in there. To get a good character either if they are good or bad, you have to give a reason why they are there. A level of character development is need to create such a great character like Handsome Jack or HK-47.

4. The Uncertainties

Every story has conflict, and that conflict is always either a disaster or a death, so this is a must when writing a story. It can be shown as it began or you can be thrown into the middle of it and understand what is going on. Basically put the player in a situation that could have him/her understand what happens in this world. Many games have done that technique. Dark Souls and Borderlands is a good example.

3. The Suspense

We always need this. Telltale Games have given us the fate of characters in our hands without us knowing it and it really puts us on edge. You need to give the player a feel of "Oh No" and really make them scared to fail. Not Fear-For-You-Life kind of fail (Like in Dark Souls), but the fate of the world, a town, your family, and maybe even a friend will be in your hands. And you don't even need to do that, you can just have something happen to the player's character and have the player feel sadness of his character or have the player feel his pain. Game's like Black Ops 1 and Dead Space gives you the same suspense.

2. The Crushing Defeat

Even a story can end with a sad ending. If you ever play Diablo, the antagonist, Diablo, is defeated by the hero, the protagonist, but in doing so, Diablo possesses the hero to claim the land once more, make the land filled with demons left and right. Sometimes small twists like that can make bad ending a great one. Don't copy this ending, but make something similar to it. Have the ending where evil triumphs and beats the heroes of the world. Game's like Singularity has the story end where the evil wins the battle.

1. The Ultimate Win

Just because I said try ending with a bad ending doesn't mean you have to do it! A lot of games have the heroes win ultimately in the end destroying the evil, but to make this good, you must give a powerful conflict between the protagonist and the antagonist. A conflict that just makes you question what you already know. Many games carry this factor, and most have done it right.

This is just my advice for those people struggling on making a story for the players out there. But know that a memorable game doesn't always have a memorable story. Dark Souls doesn't have straight story at all and it's what gamers love. I hope this helped and for those of you smaller developers reading this, thanks for choosing this blog. And 'til next time...

Amnesia: Hopes and Dreams

The Council of Knights surround the sisters in the council room. There are three flags with different emblems on it. One has an Eagle on a orange flag carrying a bundle of weapons. Another with a skull on a black flag with a red jaw and a bullet hole in the very top of the skull. And the last one with a feather crossed with a knife on a blue flag with five stars surrounding the feather and knife

"You have shown us your skills, sisters." Councilor Strikor said. "You have proven your worth as soldiers in the federation." The sisters began to smile at each other. "But, to us, you are not soldiers. None can be in your position right now, since your skills can outmatch them. We, the councilors of Knights, give you this humble gift of honor." The councilors began applaud the sisters.

"This is you task force emblem." Councilor Farris said. "You may choose, but one flag emblem and name as you please." Ashley's mind began to buzz. Her memories were starting to flood back in, but in obscured messages. Memories of people speaking started sound backwards, words started to show, but with little to no meaning, but one stood out farther than the others. Kaia-Lora. The words haunt her, yet it felt so comforting. Ashley felt a nudge on her shoulder.

"C'mon!" Her sister said. "You're the one picking, sister!" Ashley looked at her in confusion. Her head began to scream in pain. A large ringing sound began to sound in her head. The pain was large, but she could contain it.

"What's the matter, Ashley?" her sister began to worry.

"It's nothing," Ashley said. "I am honored to be here. And I am grateful for your actions for saving my sister and I in the past, we thank you and the dogfighters for our rescue, for that today marks the day Kaia-Lora rises as a team to save those in need of us or the federation." She walks to the flag with the feather and knife. "Now is the time for us to mark the generation's minds and claim the respect well deserved as we help those in peril." The sister and the council applaud her speech.

"We will let you claim your recruits, but for now sisters, make sure you're prove that you are what we think you are." Councilor Variks says as the rest of the council leaves. The sisters exit the room as Ashley carries the flag she chose.

As they exit the room, a long line of teenage recruits line up, many were tall and strong for their age, others seemed unbelievably small, and only three of the entire line were women. Ashley put her helmet on as the recruits turned their head to see their higher officials.

"You're putting that on now?" Her sisters quietly said.

"It's for protection." Ashley replied as she walked with the flag resting on her shoulder.  They walk in front of the many recruits and watch them standing there, waiting to be told what to do.

"Many of you are ready!" Ashley said as it echoed in her helmet. "But many of you are not. We hope we choose the best out there, and we hope that most of you find your place in this federation."

"We will be asking questions about you," Her sister began to speak. "If you stutter on a word or hesitate on answering, we will not be accepting you." Talya looked at Ashley for a moment. "We only take the best. They looked over the line of recruits and started to ask what they can about them.

Talya saw a tall chubby recruit standing on stiff. She wanted to talk to this one. "What's your name recruit?"

"Xavier J. Monsivais, Sir!"

"Do I look like a sir, recruit?"

"No sir-I mean ma'am!" His eyes widened as Talya wasn't pleased.

"Get back to your quarters, recruit." As he left, she saw an empty spot in the line. She was curious and wanted to know the lazy recruit refusing to form a proper line. "Who's the wise ass leaving a gap in this beautiful line?" She shouted.

"That would be me!" a hand rose above the line. She came to see the recruit's face, and saw him reading a large bible encoated in black ebony wood.

"What is your name recruit?" He looked up from his bible and closed it as he got up.

"I am Joshua Hayden, but you can just call me Josh." He put his hand behind his back as his other hand was put out to shake Talya's. She grabbed his hand and shook it respectfully.

"Where you from, Josh?"

"Thadeous is where I'm from, why?"

Talya smiled and and patted him on the shoulder. "Welcome to the Kaia-Lora."

Ashley was looking, but known felt fitting. Some seemed to be lazy or too into the killing aspect of the job. One woman began to smile above the rest. He smile was like a glow amongst a dark hallway, so easy to see, but too hard to look away.

"Can I ask why you are smiling, recruit?" Ashley asked the smiling woman.

"I'm just happy to see I'm at where I am." She said happily.

"You know you could be kicked out of the federation if you aren't found by a team wanting you."

"I know, but I get to see my father again! I always loved him." Her smile started to shine instead of a simple glow.

"What about your mother?" Her smile disappeared.

"She will not be mentioned," she said in a sinister voice. "She put me in a hole I could not escape from, but in return she was put in an internal damnation." Ashley began to feel fear when she was in her presence. "But now, is a different time!" she said with that smile again. "I have a new life and now I can be with people I can love and trust!" Ashley began to understand her. She felt the same way, but not as much as her.

"Would you like to join the team?" She squealed and screamed "Yes!" and hugged Ashley. "Can I ask what your name is?"

 "It's Rebecca! Rebecca Shinishi Lang!"

When the sister came to each other again after introducing themselves and asking each recruit, they questioned who to choose next. There were many, but none very willing to be in their team. There was no one. No one to fill the last hole to complete their team.

"Who should we pick?" Talya said.

"I don't know? Maybe that guy? I think his name is Newt."

"No, I caught him looking at my ass."

"What about about that guy? His name is Trench I think."

"No, we have to find someone fitting to our standards, he seems to tall for us, if you know what I mean." Without warning the doors at the long end of the room slammed open. A long silence too over the room as the entire line turned their head to the person entering the room. Footsteps echoed in the room as the person ran towards the sisters. The person stopped in front of them as he bent over exhausted and panting. His arms on his knees, his hair in a mess, and his clothes not on right. A few of the recruits in the line began to giggle as they watched the embarrassment that man has to face.

"Sorry I am late..." He said. "The name's Blake..." The sister looked at each other as this man continued to pant.

"Can you explain why you are late?" Talya said.

"My alarm was off. And most of my clothes were missing." Blake said. "I had to barrow a friend's." The few same recruits began to giggle uncontrollably. One could barely keep his stance.

"I can see it was those two." Talya said. "Do they do things like this to you often?"

"Who?" Blake said. "Those two? Yeah, but I would have to say they don't do much to humiliate me."

"You mean this isn't humiliating? Your shirt is almost too short for you!" Ashley cried out.

"I can handle pretty well with humility." Blake said as Matthew walked in to the room.

"We will take care of this, Blake" Ashley said.

"And welcome to this team," Talya said as she went to Matthew and told him all that has happened.

***

Ashley and her team were in their quarters enjoying a goodnight's sleep. Ashley was still awake. Her eyes kept opening as she tried to sleep. She could not sleep even though she felt the need to do so. She grabber her Ukelele from her special friend and played a small song. Her mother's melody could bring her to sleep. Her beautiful voice began to sing. This song was like a spell to her. It could put her to sleep and time of the day as long as it's played by her family.

She laid in her bed and closed her eyes without feeling a jolt pulling up on her eye lids. Her mind began to clear and go black, ready to dream. A beautiful feeling of relaxation. A red light began to shimmer in the black darkness in her mind. It lingered there, as if something was wrong. It started to get brighter as an ear piercing sound began to show in it's brightness. Then it got suddenly larger and screeched in her mind. She woke and found a pain lingering in her head. She looked upon her room and found a pitched black cat with glowing purple eyes in the ends of her feet on the bed. She reached out to pet it, but it began to emit the ear piercing sound in her mind. It spoke once as the sound continued.

"Shopkeepers to death, and on again."

These words began to echo in her head. It seemed as if she needed to know what this meant. The cat's closed, but the sound stayed, filling her mind. It got louder and louder as the seconds crossed by. She began to feel and a large pain her head and saw her mirror and found her eye was missing.

She woke in shock as her sister sat next to her. "What were you dreaming about?" Talya said.

"It was just a nightmare." Ashley replied.

"That explains the screaming, but why were you screaming about mother?"

EDITED|The Invaders: The Life and Death of the Beloved Broyce

Author's Notes: A special someone asked me who was Broyce in one of my Invaders entries. This will answer most your questions about him. Know that this symbolic story that tells about a person I really care about in my world. He is not dead, but I wouldn't want anything to happen to him. And no, his name is not Broyce, just a cover-up. I hope you enjoy this story in the eyes and mind of the character, Broyce Aconda.

I was nervous. Inside the transporter, I sat next to my beloved, to keep myself calm. His arm on my shoulder was more comforting than the drugs the gave me for my mind. Our mission. Our first to test our skills the federation has taught us. Barely felt the same as I did, but my beloved, even if he doesn't understand, holds my hand in my time of peril. The jolting in the ship we will embark from frightens me as we hit orbit. I can't stand this. The long wait as we are sent to this mission to prove we are ready. This federation saved many, but the lives they have wasted on saving some, is not enough to call inspiring in my opinion. I held a wooden statue that me and my beloved carved it

The ship comes to a jolting stop. The red light in the above our heads was the only thing showing any noise as it flickered and spun in a circle. The doors fall to the floor and a large clank sounds inside the transporter. We all ran outside and went into position. He ran with me.

We ran towards rocks that covered us from watchmen. I felt like panicking. What they saw us and we didn't know? We could be dead in the next fifteen seconds."Broyce, there is nothing to worry. I will always be beside you." His words made me feel relaxed. I wanted him to keep talking, I was too scared carry my weapon properly.

"You always make me feel better, Xavier." He did. He never really made me feel like I was used or hated. He knew what to say when it was the time for me.

We ran again to the next rock to check for more watchmen. There were only 5 in our area, but 3 others across from them. "We should try and snipe them silently, then check for more guards on the ground." Xavier was always the leader. It was very a demanding job and stressful to many, but he seemed to handle it, he did lead the entire fireteam at the moment. "Clancey! Sean! You two are good shots, fire when ready." The two men got their rifles and put their suppressors on and fired at the watchmen. As they fell from the watchtowers, I could hardly watch them hit the ground. I was surprised to see that their friends didn't care or hear them fall or see their... Wonderful art they left behind. Once they were done, we head uphill and found an outpost. There were 4 men outside and about 6 more inside the outpost buildings. I could see that this was going to be my job.

"Broyce," I knew it. "You're the smallest one here. I need you to sneak in and kill them as quietly as you can." I didn't want to go inside.

"But why?" I knew why, I just didn't want to admit it.

"I just said why, Broyce. Now, please do this. We can't do this ourselves. You are the only one trained for this type of situation." I couldn't deny his order. I vowed that my leader's words were law and I had to keep that vow. I ran to the rocks that allowed me to be behind the building. I saw the window and inside was a soldier with a winter gas mask on looking in the distance out the window. He didn't see me, but I felt that he saw me. I had to stay calm. I think I saw more.

I took a quick glance in the window and found there was one man alone inside one of the buildings. I thought to go to him instead of the group ahead. He was fully armored. Why? Why does he have to wear bullet proof armor on? My pistol will only annoy him! I guess it's the knife this time to dig in the open slits in the armor.

He watched outside the window where I was going to enter. I waited until he resided somewhere else. I couldn't watch him, I had to listen where he was and where he could be. I heard a door to his left open. I heard his footstep walk towards it as the man who opened the door talked to my target.

They spoke in a strange tongue. I couldn't make it out. Sound like a mix of German and Sentrafelli, two of the strangest sounding languages. "Token! Strobean Haeben! Shen colk defsh den!" It was a bit annoying.

"Mein helgan!" I believe he's leaving. I have a chance. I opened the window as the cold wind gently blew into the room. I saw they left the door open, so I knew how many were there now. Sadly, I had to kill them to finish the mission.

Wait. What was the mission? Think, Broyce. What was it? I saw there were two men crossing the hallway in the next room. There was four men fully armored with large LMG weapons and in the middle holding a briefcase in his left hand and a dismounted turret on his right rest against his shoulder. What was in the briefcase? Wait... The Intel! Why is it in the outpost buildings? No matter to question these people's tactics, I need to capture the intel. I had to radio the team about my findings.

"Xavier?" I sound so nervous.

"What is it Broyce? Where are you now?" I it was hard to tell. But I just had to tell him what I found.

"I am near the Intel. Should I clear a path for you and the team?" I knew his answer. He wanted me to get the intel.

"No, you know what to do, you got this. We will try to make our way in while you retrieve the Intel." Such a leader. I knew he would make a great team leader. I hope the Council will give him on to lead. But I had a small chance of getting it successfully without getting caught by the guards. And I don't want to mess with that large one with the turret. I heard them talking again.

"Dorsh Fet Shen Col Kien. Token! Shen Intref. De Ont Shoquela. Dais Groft?" The one with the turret is speaking. Is he talking about the intel?

"Dunka, Roberto." They all seem afraid of the large one. I guess he's the boss of this place. I see one of them open a large metal door that enters into a large safe-like room. I need to stop them before they put it in there. The lock on a keycard touch-security. If I touch the card that opens the safe, it will have the entire base after me.

"They are putting the Intel in a safe I won't be able to access, Xavier." I felt so afraid.

"Then wait until they leave. We are almost in the outpost, so we will meet you there." I couldn't do that.

"It won't work. They have a touch-security card. I'm going to have to smoke them." I knew he wouldn't want me to do this. I know him that much, and I know someone is going to get angry, and it wasn't going me.

"No! You will..." I shut off my comm. I had to do what was my mission. Our mission actually. I couldn't let us down. I pulled out the suppressor in my pistol and screwed it on my rifle. I turned off the safety and placed a smoke screen in my hand. We trained how to do this. Well, I did. Most of the team wasn't with me at the time. Oddly enough, the smoke screens we had pins instead of a button. They told me that the smoke screen blows after 5 seconds. I counted to two and threw it in the other room.

"Dos Vaiter?" I heard one scream as it exploded into a large fog. I could hear the one with the turret screaming what I believe is words of profanity. I had to open fire into room as most of them were confused. I got two of the five that were easy. Once the one with the turret knew why his men were dying he opened fire in my direction. Damn turret was powerful. He hit me twice in the shoulder. The armor helped, but it's pushed into the flesh. I know Xavier was frightened to hear his weapon go off. I just know. I had to find a way to stop him. My flash bang! It wasn't called that, it was actually called the Undiscerning Grenade. That means nothing now, I had to slip it under him while he's still firing. This one had a pin. I pulled it and rolled it across the room to where the man with the turret was. He looked down and saw the grenade as it flashed in his eyes. He still fired his turret, but at the walls in the room. I started to fire recklessly into his chest, but it wasn't enough. He got jolted, but nothing much. This gave my position away. He fired where I was and shot me several times in the chest. The armor flew out of my chest as it hit as the bullets dug into my chest.

It felt... Painful obviously, but a feeling of relief was at the end of this pain. I could sense it. As I hit the floor, I heard a door slam open to my right. Thank god it was Xavier. Bullets hit him, but it didn't penetrate his armor. Not even his helmet. Him and his team behind him fired at the man wielding the turret and killed him. It was the only time I felt happy for someone's death.

I could see Xavier worried as he looked at me. He took off his mask and asked, "Why?" to me. I didn't want to talk, it would hurt anyway. "Sean! Get the Medical Adhesive. Newt! Watch the doors." He pushed the adhesive into my chest and pumped a liquid that would fill all holes in my body. Sounds like a great chemical, but it's not a pleasant feeling when it's applied. Once he pumped it in, the chemical filled my my chest and lungs. It pulled my breath out as I almost panicked and went into shock.

Xavier took my helmet off. The only time I felt so found to reveal my face to a crowd. "You should have listened." Th only words I know that would come out of his mouth. I still felt bleeding on my chest. The adhesive glue wasn't working. "You turned off your comms. What were you thinking, Broyce?"

"I thought about the team and the mission." In matter of fact, I thought about it too much.

"You thought about too much, Broyce." He read my mind. "I don't want to lose you now." I could see his eyes tearing up. He picked me up and carried me across to the window I got in from. "Clancy, Sean and Newt, You guys watch my back as you follow me. Rebecca, you provide me with all the supplies to keep this man alive."

They all followed as we embarked outside with tangos following behind. It wasn't long until they began to plan ahead. Men with turrets and snipers traveled along the coast as we tried to call for evac. Xavier was running beside me. Well, I wasn't running, I was limping my way. It wasn't too long until I began to drag my feet with Xavier trying to keep me up. I know what he is feeling and it's what I feel. I don't want me to die either, Xavier.

"We are calling for evac! We have the intel! Our mission isn't complete until we deliver the intel to Federation HQ." Everyone was afraid. I could only see it in my beloved's face, but although, there faces are covered by their helmets, I could feel the fear. Tangos began to flank in our front and started to fire their weapons. "Sean! Glass them!" He pulls out an impact grenade. A very powerful explosive. It cleared a path for us for sure. It was like that the men turned to paste and bits. Strange I kind of enjoyed it.

As we ran, the tangos got worse. More and more began to attack all at once. It was too much. "We hear you Echo Team. Is that gunfire I hear?" What a late response.

"Yes! Where can you pick us up, Hanger?" It better be close.

"I be at these Coordinates by the time you escape. 33122-213. Good Luck Echo" We were going to need.

"Thanks, Hanger." It began to snow. Flakes of ice flew across the air as it slowly tried to hit a service. It was beautiful in my eyes, but you're listening to a drugged man. The enemies were still behind us, but there were less. We had more of a chance.

"Sean! Take the Intel! I will be holding back with Broyce." Sean takes the briefcase and tries to convince Xavier to come with them, B\but I knew he was too stubborn to listen to them. I think he knew I was going to die. I believe the medicine isn't working and he knew it wasn't going to end with me alive.

He sat me behind a tree as he go ready to kill the rest of the tangos. There were 15 of them. 5 of them were with turrets and the rest were with normal arms. He gave a long sigh to relax himself. He placed his hand on my shoulder. He looked into my eyes and smiled as a tear fell down his cheek. My beloved. You already know my fate. I am sorry. This is all my fault.

He began to fire his rifle as the bullets flew past him. He was such a good shot. Most of the time, I saw the bullets ricochet off their helmets or enter through the glass in their eye holes. He took all, but one of the men with the turrets. The rest of them tried to flank him from the sides. He took them out quickly. I was impressed by his work. I smiled, but it was hard to keep on my face for him to see.

Him and the man with the turret is the only one left. Neck and neck. I was rooting for my beloved. They kept firing at each other to the point the sound was burnt in my head. It was surprising when I heard Xavier's weapon began to click instead of fire. The man with the turret began to laugh as he heard it. "Ha! Ja! Du Narr! Raise hands and give self up, federation scum!" Xavier placed his weapon on the floor and raised his hands in the air and walked 10 feet in front of the man.

"Daegon Creatarr! I will have fun with you." I almost was sad for my beloved. I was sad, but I knew that an idea would pop in his head. I head the barrel spin on his weapon as I sat there not able to watch. "Guten Tog, Federation scum!" He began to laugh. I was waiting to hear gunfire, but the barrel kept spinning. They're both out of bullets. I heard my beloved pull out his sword and all I could hear were the screams of his victim.

My eyes began to get heavy. I could hardly keep my mind on track. I wasn't feeling tired, it was a sickening pull on my mind. The feeling of relief is afoot. I can taste it almost. I heard my beloved's footsteps get closer. I felt his hands grasp me and lied me down on the cold ground. I could hear him cry. I could hardly hear him. I tried to concentrate on his voice and hear, "How will I remember you?" Looked into my satchel and placed our statue in his hands. A wooden statue of ourselves dancing as one.

I couldn't hear anything. I could feel my life drifting and the only thing I could see was my beloved's beautiful eyes. I almost cried, but that would be unnecessary for where I am at. I grabbed his hand and held it tight. It made me feel so much better. His gentle touch and the warmth. Oh, the warmth. It was the most pleasant thing I felt in ages. I pulled off a smile for him as I felt the kiss of death peck my cheek. Such a beautiful embrace.

Community Writing Challenge: Vendetta's Bane

Hello! As you may see, this is a Writing Challenge! This is a story I've been working on since I was 12, and it's been the best work I've done, in my opinion. A Futuristic Wild West set in the year 2005, and America is much larger than its suppose to be. There are many things different in this world than ours and I just love it. This is not the official name, but this will set it. I hope you guys enjoy, and I hope someone take interest in this.

[The Narrator begins to tell the story while the screen remains black]

Narrator: Years have gone by. The new claim of land began, the American soil of which we fought for.

[The screen turns to  an old timey map lay out with red X marks on land claimed in America]

Some of us got greedy, took land we didn't own. Killed people we that deserve death. All for the cause of more land for a country of too much power.

[Blood marks the map where the X's were and screams of a massacre sound as the screen turns black once again]

That was a long time ago. By the time of the railroad, those countries we attacked, wanted to take their land back. The English wanted their land back from the Americans.

[A scene of a battle going on appears on the screen, Union and simple civilians fight the redcoats]

Once that was over, the Spanish wanted California back.

[Another scene of a battle in a mexican village shows in the screen]

We were no match for them, we called for help. An alliance was needed for the Americans with the English.

[A Picture of the American President shaking the hand of the King of England shows]

The president gave a vow that the Americans must help the English in time of need and the land of the Spanish won over will be their's to own. Marking a new military force called the King's Royal Hand.

[A picture of a group of men with muskets and swords are along side with the American Union appears on the screen]

A special force built entirely English super soldiers. But even they could help shorten the war. Men and women fought as the spanish tried to claim land they no longer own. In return, both sides wanted something bigger to play with.

[A scene of early 20th century scientists work on large projects and weapon-like machines]

America and their friend, England gathered up scientist to create a powerful weapon for the men of the bad of the war. Many were basic weapons, and others seemed like a mad scientist's work. But even then, their work wasn't enough. The Spanish won the war and took the scientist to create their civilization's future.

[A burning American flag falls slowly as a Spanish Revolutionary flag takes it's place]

America was no longer ours. The land was forced to speak the language and the American civilians were seen as lower individuals and the Spanish took the jobs of higher priority as we were left with slave work.

[A man with a Vox mask in a wanted poster appears on screen. The camera moves away from the wanted poster to see the brutal and cruel acts of the Spanish people on what was left of Americans.]

It wasn't long until a terrorist group called the Vendettas to show the people that there was hope. They all wore the same smiling mask, the soulless smile as they were called with black clothing and a large sombrero to not show the true man behind the mask

[A battle begins as men with masks and spanish soldiers fight. Bullets fly by heads and ricochets off off rocks when the shooter misses with both sides wielding their flags of their purpose]

It took the Vendettas 4 years to accomplish the people's hearts for freedom. 4 long years to win the battles we yearned to fight again. This time the tides turned for us.

[A man and a wife are holding hands while sitting in a bench surrounded by flowers as their cabin lies behind them. A Vox mask is mounted on the wall in the window of their cabin.]

In return of our victory, the spanish fled back to their country as we claimed our new land back. The King's Royal Hand rewarded the Vendetta Leaders weapons of pure skill, The Visor Swords. A beam of pure light, but has the mass of hardened steel. It can cut through anything.

[The screen turns to black]

As peace was restored, the people of the land wanted to keep that peace.

[An emblem with a Circle of  birds with a red background shows]

The Sacred Circle. The people who thought those of great skill had blood of the gods and that if the blood touched the Earth's soil, peace will be kept for the next 10 years. They did not kill the skilled individual, they just asked him to spill a drop of their blood.

[The emblem burns]

They... Have gone too far with this ritual of peace. As the decades passed, they asked for more blood to spilled.

[Men with red cloaks are shown breaking down doors and grabbing the individuals in their own homes]

No longer asked for the blood to be spilled with a simple drop, but puddles as the man with great skills lays in it.

[A man is shown dead outside his home lying in his own blood as the circle burns his house.]

This is where you come in, Sebastian.

[A boy appears in the screen carrying a sword]

So young. So happy. Your father was the idle of your life.

[The boy smiles as he trains with his father]

Your father was a great hero. A Spanish Vendetta, Ramon Luando, who helped claim the land back for us. He wanted to teach you what he knew to protect yourself, so that no one would take the better of you.

[The camera pans inside the cabin where the wife and daughter was]

And his lovely wife and kind daughter. Both great women.

[The camera shows off the Vox mask with scratch marks and chips that the father wore during the war]

Your family carried a curse with them, Sebastian. And you were the only not affect by it.

[The camera shifts to the father as he looks to the distance as he sees a carriage with the Sacred Circle's emblem on it]

At such a young age. I am sorry, Sebastian. This is your fate and you cannot escape it.

[The camera goes into the eyes of Sebastian (The child) as the player takes control of his actions.]

Ramon/Father: Sebastian, put these training swords away and grab my pistol and combat swords.

Sebastian: Father? What is going-

Ramon/Father: Sebastian, do as I say!

[The player is given a landmark that shows the location of the weapons]

Mother: Sebastian, what is going on?

[The mother looks to the distance and sees the Sacred Circle emblem on the carriage heading to their home as the camera lefts the eyes of the player and watched the mother and daughter]

Oh no!

Daughter: What is happening?

Mother: Just go into your room, Hija

[The camera returns to Sebastian's eyes as he carries a sword and pistol. The player took control of his actions. A waypoint is pointed over the father's head. The camera shifts out of the boy's eyes and shows him giving the weapons to his father.]

Ramon/Father: Now get your mother and sister into the cellars! Now!

[The camera goes into the father's eyes as an animation of father reloading the pistol is presented in front of the player. The player is equipped with a pistol with no limitations to ammunition and a sword with no damage intake. The carriage stops in front of the father as he sees many more coming his way.]

Ramon/Father: You cultist Bast*rds. This isn't how you restore peace!

[The player is now allowed to fight the Sacred Circle members as most of them try to protect themselves with  swords, pistols and larger firearms. When the player loses, the player will witness a cutscene of the father in the house fighting off what he can with little strength. The boys looks through a hole inside the cellar that reveals the father fighting. The father slices off the masked Circle Member, showing his face as he slashed the father down to the ground and stabs him in the chest. The boy witnessing his father's death, he hears a large clash in cellar as the cultists come in and kill the mother and daughter. Not showing their death, the boy hides. The Sacred Circle leaves and sets the cabin and cellar on fire. The boy manages to escape the fire and leaves unseen by the Cultists. The screen shifts to a wanted poster that has a reward of $200 M on a man with the name Claimer on it. The camera pans out as bandits walk past the poster and into a bar.]

Narrator: The Claimer. *Laughs* You always were one with strange names, Sebastian. Your day will come.

[The Narrator pauses as the camera continues to pan backwards]

Look how much you have grown. Your life morals? Well, they prevented you to grow from your vengeful thirst. But what is a country without a war take place?

[The Title begins to appear in the screen as the player begins the full game]

Top 10 Most Disturbing Moments in Gaming...

$

There is a lot of disturbing things that games can do to you. Some are even gut wrenching! Although, this list will have some rules when it comes to the different definitions of "disturbing" to some players. There will be no scares that are disturbing and nothing that can scare you in particular. It has to be something heart wrenching, mind blowing, and suspense building. Hello Wandering Traveler and welcome to this top 10 disturbing moments in games. Be wary of spoilers and hope you enjoy!

10. What Would You Do to Save Your Son? (Heavy Rain)

You ever played Heavy Rain, then it must have been hard to witness this one scene. The game forces the player to cut off your own finger off as the Origami Killer wants you to record it! Those of you that have played the game are probably asking why? Well, it's because you have to do this to save your son. Although, it's not much of a suspenseful moment for me. I know his screams can get to you, but it didn't really hit me as hard as others, reason why it's not so high on this list.

9. Who Would You Kill? (Spec Ops)

Many of you fans may be asking why is this one here and no others? That's because that was an obvious placement on this list. But this one was a bit hard and not so fun. You are given a choice to shoot one of two men hanging on a broken freeway bridge. One has done nothing wrong or evil in his life and other did a crime. What crime? They never say what, but you have a choice, and it's not very pleasing on the mind.

8. Strogifaction (Quake 4)

Those of you out there that hate dentists, then this small scene will remind you of how awful it was getting that Root Canal 3 years ago. The player is captured by Strog Forces and is forced to go through the strogifaction process awake. The player gets a giant injection in his stomach, legs cut off and a translator implanted into his brain! God, I can't imagine the pain you have to endure for this.

7. Stick a Needle in Your Eye! (Dead Space 2)

One of Dead Space's most intense scenes, this surprised and scared the hell out of everyone who played this! God! The needle in an eye situation is so bizarre! Aaah! The game makes it more suspenseful as you get closer to the eye and no one has gotten this done on the first try. If you are visual thinker like me, then you probably gotten a headache every time you failed.

6. Cut it Out (Walking Dead Season 1)

One of the worst moments in the game. Well, when I say worst, I really mean one of the best moments that were bad for the character. Lee is bitten and you are given a choice to either tell the group you are infected or hide it. If you chose to hide it, you cut off the infected limb alone with no one to help you. If you told them, you would cut off the limb with a friend or friends by your side. The disturbing part is obviously cutting off the limb. You can stop mid cut and wait the pain out as you bleed out the infection, or cut it out as it was already too late to cut off without knowing.

5. Stay Quiet (MSG5)

If you played MSG5 long enough to see Quiet's torture, then you probably got yourself in a pickle when she was getting waterboarded. In the scene, she is getting dunked into a crate of water until she passes out. When she is out, you can here the guard unzip something. Good thing Quiet stop him before they could have any fun. And got something cut off in the process...

4. For Mother (F.E.A.R. 3)

If you played this sorry excuse for a game to the end, then you found some weird crap. The good ending (The ending where you play as a human instead of a ghost), then you didn't get as much of a weirded out moment as some players. If you got the bad ending, then you got something worth the game! Well, not really. The game ends with you possessing your brother and eating your mother's pregnant body. Glad I put that image in your head? It doesn't sound bad, but it just gives you a weird feeling while watch him feast down like a dog.

3. Sonic Boom

I know this is more of a personal pick, but I did not feel very happy playing this. I wasn't angry about how bad it was like Egoraptor, I was more weirded out of how incomplete this game was. You know that feeling when you turn in a report for school and you realise it was half done? It feels like that to me. Just worried I might get something bad out of it. God, I hated playing this! Playing this game became a challenge in of itself!

2. Adam Splicing (Bioshock)

Remember that first scene in Bioshock where you got your first Adam ability? Yeah, I hated that scene. I don't like getting needles in my wrist, so it was painful to watch him feel the pain of Adam. The pain he feels when his body adapts to the drug, the moment he plunges that syringe into his wrist, and when he falls down that edge to the first story, you can just feel it! Ouch! My wrist is starting to hurt now!

**Here are some Honorable Mentions***

Interrogation(GTA5)

This scene was suspenseful, but it wasn't that much of big deal in my mind. I know it's a bit personal to put it here, but it didn't hit me as hard as most have.

It was Your Fault (Spec Ops)

This was too much of an obvious placement on this list, and it was too much of a good pick to just throw away. It might have been too obvious, but I'd like to make you guys happy that this is here.

Until Dawn's Purpose

There are too many moments in Until Dawn that made my skin crawl! The game itself was made to do that, so this was a bit of an obvious placement on this list. The game is good, but too much of it was disturbing to put in one list.

Beat Down! (Black Ops 3)

If you finished the first mission in the Campaign, you are met with this cutscene. You are beaten and ripped apart by robotic soldiers which gave the best abilities in the game. Too bad the rest of the campaign sucked for this to enter the list. It wasn't that, it was because my friend's 5 year old sister thought this scene was cool.

**And Now for Number 1**

1. Remember, No Russian (Modern Warfare 2)

Remember - No Russian are the first words you hear from the sinister terrorist, Makarov in the beginning of the mission. Before the mission starts, the game asks you if you want to skip this mission, giving you a warning of what you will see since the devs knew this was a step too far. The game gives you a fully loaded LMG weapon and throws you in a Russian airport. The player thinks that he/she is suppose to kill all of the unarmed civilians, but what they don't know is that you don't have to pull the trigger. This gotten to the news and almost got the game banned from the market for giving ideas of terrorism. This really rocked the world as the player were disturbed by how they were made to do this mission.

What is your disturbing moment in the games you played? And did I miss any big ones? You can go ahead and tell, but as usual...
